    I was expecting this improved sound in my listening experience. Instead the main difference I hear is an almost echo effect on some programs and no difference on others. Too expensive of product with too little of change/improvement.

      The HW-R450 features a powerful wireless subwoofer, as well as Game Mode, Dolby Digital Plus, and DTS Digital Surround for deep bass, rich sound, and clear tones.

      You can try optimizing audio performance for your specific content by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your HW-R450 remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, or SMART.

      You can also press the Sound Control button on the remote (looks like a gear) to adjust TREBLE and BASS.

      Press and hold the Sound Control button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each of seven frequency bands.

      Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down.

      Also, please check that the soundbar is correctly positioned with the SAMSUNG logo facing up towards the ceiling. We have found that many customers are misplacing the soundbar with the SAMSUNG logo perpendicular to the floor (facing you when seated), with the unit resting on the speakers, resulting in muffled sound.

      There are two adjustments that can be made to maximize the potential of the included wireless subwoofer. First, is to increase the WOOFER level from the included remote control. Second is to adjust the bass control: Press the Sound Control button (gear icon) on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level.

      Finally, for precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize for your room acoustics.

      In addition, it has come to our attention that customers may be positioning the soundbar incorrectly, resulting in poor sound quality. The soundbar should be placed with the SAMSUNG logo facing up towards the ceiling. If you position the soundbar with the logo facing up, you will see the display/status panel and the speakers will be facing outward. (Refer to product photos on BestBuy.com and zoom in on the photos) If you have incorrectly placed the soundbar with the display side down and the SAMSUNG logo perpendicular to the floor (facing you when you sit), you will experience muffled or low quality sound because the unit will be resting on the speakers.

    Had it for more than 30 days because I was In the middle of home purchase / settlement and moving at the time so left it safely inside of its box until I relocated only to open it and attempt to link it to my Samsung Television only to find that the Bluetooth doesn’t work . And it isn’t even loud enough to use as a radio . At this point I’ve attempted everything in my power , including sending out service requests via the app . I’m left with no choice but to use my replacement plan which I hope that I am not going to have any issues with . MORAL: never just trust the quality of anyone’s products . Always open and test before going any farther .

    They did not have one in stock so I settled for the floor model. I was glad that my son notice we didn't have the subwoofer before we got in the car and drove off,I got home plugged it all up and noticed there was no remote. The description said minor scratches but all assessor there.. I called up to Best Buy to let them know I did not have a remote they said they found it and advise me that it would be at customer service to pick it up. Got home with "remote" and noticed that the remote is not for the sound bar its for a Samsung television. So I still don’t have the proper remote.. Sucks

    Piece of garbage. Advertised as a different model number on the website which I thought was the same model I had previously purchased. When I got it home and unboxed it did not have half of the inputs my last model did. By the time I unboxed it it was beyond the return period. Gotta love a 15 day return period. Wont be purchasing from best buy any time soon.
