Overall the sound from this unit is decent for the sale prices, but I wouldn't buy at full price. I ordered this online, and shipping was pretty fast. However, my box from Best Buy was heavily gashed and not contained in any other type of shipping box. I pealed off the damaged box to find no damage, luckily. Set up was pretty easy. The bass seems round, but sometimes not quite sharp enough on most settings. Bluetooth connectivity is my biggest issue, which is more of an annoyance. It only works without continuously skipping in a range from about 6-8ft away. It even occasionally skips when within that range. I do use Bluetooth often, so this could be a no go. I have a few more days to decide, but I'm considering returning this one an opting for a different brand, as I've read several people with this model and the 550 are having the same issues since last year. Samsung has not seemed to provide any kind of updates for it yet. The only other two things I would mention, sometimes the volume level on the sound bar gets out of sync with the volume level sent from my TV. And the other, the input doesn't automatically switch back to an available input once Bluetooth connection has ended. I have a Sony unit that does this automatically without needed to do anything, but on this one I have to locate the remote or go up to change the input type. Not a huge deal, but knowing what I know now, I'd probably only buy this on heavy discount until Samsung as addressed the Bluetooth issues.

This is the first sound bar I have purchased. The sound quality of this product is awesome. Would certainly buy again.

Had I known these were as good as they are, I'd have bought them a long time ago.

Haven't really heard it with the volume up, but so far it sounds good. May consider expanding it with rear wireless speakers.

Prior to making the purchase of this sound bar, I looked and listened to many others in Best Buy. The salesman was extremely helpful and patient in helping me make an informed decision. The only reason I didn't purchase the Sony was because it didn't look as nice as the Samsung. The Samsung sound was more robust when listening to action scenes. Sony might be a better sound bar for music. I was more interested in a sound bar that had better sound for tv watching than music.

Soundbar has great virtual surround sound and sounds like there's speakers all around. Bass booms at any volume level.

Great item. Sound is so clear great when watching a movie.
