Just installed this today. Prior to mouting / haning we wanted to test the extractor and the overn itself. When I went to open the door it felt a littl hard and I thought I still had some plastic or shrink wrap on it so didn't pay attention. After getting this thing hung and level and opening the door again I realized the door was not perfectly square and the "stainless steel" cover was snagging near the hinge on the top left side with a plastic piece right at the corner. I messed with it and got it to move smoothly but the quality of the construction is not at all impressive and if the "stainless steel" front of the door snags and you don't notice you can end up just bending it and or pulling it off - not pretty. Other than that, the touch pad it hard to get to work, I wonder how hard to push and where to push, and some of the text such as "vent" and so on are hard to read even at eye level and close. If it were not for the pursuite of counter space and the "stainless steel" look I would be just as happy with our $30 Dollar microwave. I have cooked once in this microwave, some Chimichangas #burritos# and it did a good job. 4 minutes for 2 and they were fine.

Had this microwave for about 6 months. Just set up an appointment for the second time for the same issue. The door started sticking when attempting to open it to the point that I thought I was going to break it. Geek squad came out, replaced a part and a month later it's doing the same thing. I hope at some point I can replace it.

I bought this item because it was on sale an seemed to be a good value for the money. I have owned 3 OTC microwaves in the past and the most trouble I have had out of any of them was a broken button after 8 years. This microwave was 1' taller than my last two, so out of the gate I was upset because I had to cut an inch out of the granite backsplash and cut new holes in the cabinets. That I could have dealt with if the microwave would have lasted longer than an hour. First off the construction of the unit was very poor, it was a lot lighter than the one it replaced and the front trim panel was lose, I could move it back and forth with my hand. The unit seemed to be sagging in the front even through it was mounted properly. The worst part? It completely died the first time I used it, I tried heating some steam-in-bag veggies and it shut off about 3 minutes into cooking. I thought I had blown a breaker or something, so I checked the breaker was on and other items when plugged into the same outlet worked fine. I tried unplugging it for 10 seconds and plugging it back in, like it suggests in the owners manual, Nothing. A final note I went to 2 Best Buy locations over the next couple of days and saw 4 of these units being sold as "Open Box" returns. I returned it the next day and purchased a different brand. Worst experience ever. Whats the worst part? I now have a 1" gap under my microwave and an extra set of holes in my cabinet.

There is an unresolved power connection issue between the door and the unit. When you open the door, in certain positions it loses power. Repair was here for once shortly after the unit was installed - the unit has been installed for less than a year and does not get a lot of use. It only has a 6 month warranty. The problem was not corrected!

The color is wonderful and it cleans easily, the control are on the bottom and makes for easy to reach, the microwave does not seem to sense when the food is heated.

Microwave would cook fine..but other featrues failed to work from the start. The clock would not stay set. If you set the clock, once you used the microwave to cook, the clock would have to be reset again. When using the exhaust fan while cooking on the stove top, when you opened the microwave door, the exhaust fan would shut off. You wouldn't even have to turn the microwave on, just open the door and the fan would shut off. Tech service came out and changed the main circuit board, plugged microwave back in and blew out the new board. Tech service determined that we have a short in a wiring harness and now the microwave blows the kitchen circuit breaker if plugged in. So here I sit without a microwave, because tech service could not fix it. It looks nice sitting on my wall. A very expensive wall ornament!

Before we bought it we looked at the reviews and as expected the fan does make an unusual higher pitched sound. Not a real big issue for us. Next my daughter decided to clean the front with some stainless steel cleaner. It completely disfigured the surrounding black plastic surfaces. While this is completely our fault, I was shocked at how low grade the plastic is. After only a few months the buttons for the light switch and fan started to not working properly. When you push the fan, sometimes the light comes on, sometimes the fan would come on and vice versa. It becomes a good finger workout though because you will think that pushing the button harder and faster just might solve the issue (but it never really does). Then finally after less than two years of use the front buttons started malfunctioning and the microwave won't even work. If you do buy one, start saving for your next one. Because this one won't last as long as the old reliable one that your replacing that works well but didn't match your new kitchen look. ;) Now I have to start going back to the gym to get my fingers in shape, "I ain't got no time for that"

I bought this and it worked great until the fan started making loud sounds. I took it back I went through three Samsung units in less then three weeks. Never again am I getting a Samsung microwave.

Wasn't easy to install love all the features. Easy to clean. Lots of room inside

overall happy with the item. the function buttons require a little more pressure than normally used to so it takes a little getting used to.

did a side by side comparison with a whirlpool model WMH53520AS the whirlpool heated a cup of water in 1 minute 20 degrees hotter then the Samsung and popped a bag of popcorn 30 seconds faster, whereas the Samsung couldn't even fully popcorn bag. build quality is very poor, cheap plastic, poor venelation and thin stainless.

This mw oven has failed twice in 20 months. The first time was 6 months after buying it, repair was covered under warranty. Second time was the internet notorious "-SE- Error". You get really good at unplugging and plugging it back in. This time, my Samsung is not covered and is destined for the curb. Very disappointing for a Samsung product and from what I'm reading, this is a common problem. Don't waste your money.

bought it because of its attractive style, I ignored the bad reviews, The screen died after a week, Geek Squad decided to change the whole door , I got the new door in few days. they came next week and replaced the door still the screen not working. after lengthy discussions they finally agreed to order me an exchange microwave. the problem is I had a contractor install it for me so I have to take it out and take it to the store and get a new one and pay for its installation. a real lemon, stay away from it.

It matches all my other appliances. The Only problem I have is that I can't read anything on the front unless another light in the room is on.

Bought microwave and stove thru Pacific Kitchen & Home in the Best Buy Selma Store located in the Forum. Microwave does not work and they refuse to replace it or give me my money back. Do not do any business with this company. They claim to be part of Best Buy but they do not honor bestbuy return policies.
