    I bought this for my parents, who are in their late 70's. My Mother is hard of hearing & I was hoping this would help. Unfortunately, it did not. From the reviews I'd read, I was expecting a theater-like experience, but the sound quality was very mediocre & did not fit their needs. I've bought a lot of Samsung products, but was very disappointed in this one. Returning this item.

    Ive been messing with this soundbar since I got it, and I aint having luck getting it to work yet. The reviews made it seem like it'd be little effort, but it hasnt been so easy for me. Im going to try again this weekend to see if I can work some magic.

    No matter what EXTRA wires I had to buy (because they aren't included), it didn't work with my TV. Returned it !!!

    I wanted a relatively small sound bar for a 32" tv, but this didn't improve the sound at all and I returned it.

    Did not see much change between the TV and sound-bar. Sounded "tinny" Would not recommend.

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Soundbar. I am sorry to hear that you had difficulties with your unit.

      A possible cause may be that the Soundbar is not placed with the SAMSUNG logo facing up towards the ceiling. If you position the soundbar with the logo facing up, you will see the display/status panel and the speakers will be facing outward. (Refer to product photos on BestBuy.com and zoom in on the photos) If you have incorrectly placed the soundbar with the display side down and the SAMSUNG logo perpendicular to the floor, you will experience muffled or low quality sound because the unit will be resting on the speakers.

    Great For My Needs

    I needed a smaller sound bar for my newer Samsung TV to fit in my wife's vintage cabinet. This was just what I needed. Much improved sound over my TV. Hookup was easy with either optical or antalog input. Everything worked just fine. Buy it, you'll like it.

    Good Soundbar

    I really have been impressed with my Samsung Soundbar so far. I no longer have to turn my volume up and down while I watch TV. I use it in my bedroom and have no problem with it only being a one piece. The only negative thing I can say is that it is a little bulky and larger than my other Soundbar that I own. Overall great product though!

    So far, so good! The sound is clear. It's not too big. The only thing that kinda sucks is having to use an additional remote. Otherwise, I'm happy with the purchase. You can't beat the price!

    I love Samsung tv's but their soundbars are terrible! Sound quality and frequency range is as good as an antique radio. Buy a Samsung tv but stick with vizio or lg for the soundbar.
