The Samsung monitor gives true high def (1080 DPI) picture quality. The only negatives are that it has no USB outlets and that the monitor is stationary (i.e. it cannot be tilted), features that are found on more expensive monitors. Overall, for the price, I'm very happy with the purchase.

This moniter does eveything I could ask of it. I use it as a secondary screen to my laptop. I am a college student studying computer science so it is useful to have one screen with an essay or code on it while the other has research and information. The picture looks great too. There are picture settings to make it look how you want it to, and there are also power save options to make it turn off when inactive (I often forget to turn it off) I have had one issue where the screen was black and would not show a picture, but unplugging it and plugging it back in again fixed it. If there were a complaint that anyone would have about it, it would be that the monitor does not tilt to adjust the viewing angle. For me, this is not a problem, my desk sits high and the monitor faces down, but for others, this may be a slight problem. Just keep that in mind when purchasing this product.

Purchased on sale and I am very pleased with its performance so far. If you are thinking about upgrading to 1080p and don't want to spend alot, I'd highly recommend this monitor. I use this as my primary of two monitors and there is a huge difference in quality and resolution to my previous (now second) monitor. Super easy to set up great response time and color, if you see this on sale don't hesitate to buy!

I went in to Best Buy to purchase a new hard drive but when I saw the price of this monitor on sale I could not refuse and decided to retire my old half dead ten ton DELL flat screen monitor. The Samsung name and reputation helped seal the deal. This monitor has a clear bright screen perfect for watching videos. I'm extremely happy with my purchase and highly recommend this product.

The Samsung monitor is a great improvement over my last one. It has a wide screen and gives me the necessary font size for reading emails and on-line articles. The size is perfect for the space where it seats. The color fits the decorum of the room.

I original bought this screen from Sams Club but Best Buy matched the price Sams had their's for and I got to keep my loyalty with them and a got a warranty for this as well. I liked this size alot because it is doesn't feel to big on my desk. The clarity on it is also amazing and its anti glare.

Went to BB looking to replace a smaller monitor thatchas been in use forcyears... Old onecworked fine, but wanted something bigger. Selection was limited but BB had a few to choose from which included the brand i was familiarcwith. Price was lower than expected. Got it home, set up was a breeze. Unit looks great... Brighter and sharper the old one.. I guess the old one was on its way out. A good choice.

I bought this screen to help me with get my work for school done faster and easier without having to switch back and forth from window to window. I must say I'm thinking about getting another screen like this one because it appears to have a much better picture than my current one. Also very versatile. Has multiple ports depending on what you want to use it for.

This Samsung monitor was the biggest screen size in stock in it's class, and the price was one of the best also. Got it home and setup was very easy, except for the fact it did not come with an HDMI cable. Out of six monitors I have bought in the last three years, this was the first one to not come with an HDMI cable. That is the only reason it got less then a 5 star rating.
