Good entry level monitor for your computer

The main reason for my purchase was to extend the useful life of laptop, which this monitor had done. The only downside is having to remember to turn the monitor off before I shutdown the computer, otherwise the monitor goes to sleep when I want it to power off. A minor issue compared to all the positive aspects of using the monitor.
