I have always liked Samsung products, especially their monitors. This monitor is an excellent value and delivers quality graphics. It is also well-built and, from what I have seen from the other Samsung monitors that I own, it will deliver reliable performance for years to come.

I love this monitor--it is sleek, but large, and somehow still manages to give a great display, even when I am splitting screens. I don't do any gaming, so I can't critique that aspect of it, but for someone who works from home and looks at a monitor all day, it is perfect.

I Wanted the cheapest monitor with wall mounting for my security system and this one is just made for that job. The VESA mounts on the monitor are already there in place so installing this on the wall is easy. Only con I think is the stand attachment which could be an issue for wall mounting in some cases

this is a replacement for monitor that only lasted 6 years. But in fairness, the old one may have been the victim of a power surge. My preference is always for a "large" monitor and this one certainly fits the bill. very easy to install and picture quality is very good. I'm very pleased.

This looks like a good monitor, but it is pricey compared to others.

This monitor has a great picture on it, it uses a very glossy screen to get it. If you have sun light coming in the room your sitting in using this monitor your going to have a hard time seeing what's on the screen. The same is true if you have an inside light source that's reflecting on the screen. I used this monitor for a few hours and returned it the next day. It cost to too much money to have such limitations. I also had the same experience with a Dell monitor I reviewed in similar fashion to this one.

The first man that I thought was not clear at all and I took it back to Best Buy. The Geek Squad checked it out and found it to be defective and gave me a new one which was fine. I did spend 2 or 3 hours trying to get the first one to work properly so it was kind of depressing.

I bought this to use with my ADT cameras & it works great. Previously I had purchased a ASUS VE228H but that didn't quite work as a monitor for a security camera ( too much flickering ); replaced it with this Samsung & I'm very happy with it.

The mount was different on back, stuck out to far from wall

I've never been disappointed by Samsung displays as far as looks and clarity. This monitor works well, but, i really dislike the rear-facing controls and lack of a dedicated power button. Fortunately, we don't have to turn them off or reconfigure them very often :-)

Was looking for a monitor to assist in editing videos via MacBook Pro and mirror my display, look no further cause this Samsung monitor does the trick, works well, helps with clarity and performs rather well especially w/long hours of use.

The monitor provides the quality display I have been accustomed to with Samsung products. Certain software programs to not show properly when this monitor is used as an extended display, due, I understand, to scaling differences

It's okay. I got it for a nice deal after Thanksgiving.

Since I plugged my new key board into my laptop some web pages do not display. I have tried all three usb ports and those web pages still do not display. I had been on those web sites in the morning of my purchase and tried returning the same day with no avail.

Like I said above, - so far, my new monitor has been working fine. It is a lot larger than the old monitor that I had been using for the past ten plus years. I am hopeful that I will get at least that many years with this new Samsung monitor.

Problem with this monitor is the base. It only sits a few inches off of the desktop. There is no adjustment to tilt the screen. had to set on top the printer to get to eye level. Would recommend, but beware of the short base.

We were trying to get by with an old 14-16 inch monitor, but when I saw the Best Buy ad, I decided to surprise my wife. The monitor is actually the same size as her Mac's, and she likes using them both at the same time.

Bought this monitor to use with my laptop since the laptop screen had broke. It's a great monitor to use as replacement or use as a second screen to give you the 2 screen advantage.
