We moved from a regular depth side by side this, so it took us a little getting used to the new layout. We also had to get a chest freezer for all that stuff you keep but don't use regularly, but overall very happy with this refrigerator. We put snacks (yogurt, cheeses, etc) in the middle drawer so our 5 year old can easily get what she wants. The Freezer layout, while smaller, is nice with the top sliding tray to keep ice cream etc on top. It took a couple of days for the ice to fill up, but since then we have always had plenty of ice ready when we needed it. I do wish the crushed ice was a little more crushed. We also end up keeping the flip up shelf flipped up all the time for milk & juice, as the door compartment only holds so much, and you end up using it for taller bottles as well. Like others have stated, the surface doesn't work with magnets, so artwork needed a new home as well, but overall it is nice & clean looking, fits in the counter-depth opening, and generally good use of available space.

I needed a counter depth refrigerator and reviewed a number of different models. I have had excellent experiences with Samsung. This refrigerator is excellent and with the center drawer, it is very flexible. The double doors makes it very convenient to get food out and I like having the most used items at eye level.

Replaced the one we wanted because store had wrong dimensions...this model has far less room , less versatility with sections...other model had ability to convert a section either as freezer or regular refrigerated section....this model does not have the electronic front in the counter depth model

This refrigerator has been great to us so far! It fits perfectly in our kitchen, stores plenty of food, and is quiet! Many other reviews complain about the sound, and maybe it's because we live in a city, but we hear nothing coming from the fridge. The only downside is that the front is not magnetic, otherwise, it works great, it looks great, and it was great purchase! Also, the delivery guys were very professional and impressive, considering horrible delivery service we've received from Home Depot in the past.

This fridge was prefect for me! I can store everything! My favorite part was the middle drawer!

Great refrigerator, especially if one side of your refrigerator is against a wall. The side-out freezer and refirg drawers are perfect for such a space. The freezer space is poorly designed. There is one "freezer drawer" for small things and two large "bins." for everything else. If you have much in the freezer, you have to "dig" to find it. Samsung should create a better design. I may look for some insert shelves. Motor is also quite noisy when in high efficiency mode. Not sure if I should call for service or not? Interior space in the refrig is good. Lots of drawers and they open far enough that you can get things in and out. Looks great and so far it works fine. Very accurate temperature. Freezes and refrigerates food very quickly. Great lighting.

Great refrigerator, it has plenty of space. Counter depth is perfect and looks amazing in kitchen. Only complaint would be stainless gets smudges easily . But I should have known that when I purchased stainless.

We purchased this about six months ago and functionally we love it. The extra drawer really declutters the fridge, however I am disappointed in the ice maker. The ice comes out watery and uninformed.

I love this fridge! It gave us the extra space we needed between our island and fridge. I like the ice it produces. The crescent-shaped nuggets are a little smaller than a typical ice maker and they get soft and chewable quickly in your drink. The deli drawer is so handy for making kids lunches in the mornings without even having to open the fridge doors. I like the freezer drawers. Great fridge for a busy family!

I think this fridge looks great. It sits nice and flush with the cabinets. On the other hand, I had a problem getting my stuff in the fridge and ended up swapping it for the standard depth. It would be great for someone who doesn't cook and just wants the look, though.

Very quiet and I love having the 3 compartments with different temperatures to customize my cooling needs. Although it is smaller than the one I had before, the use of space is very efficient. Would have like to have more space for taller items but so far has not been a problem. I have a second refrigerator to accommodate that need.

Great refrigerator..lots of room and extra door is great.

It looks nice, but is not as useful as I thought I would be. I used to put a lot more in my doors, and now have to stack lots of things on the shelves, making them harder to access. The snack drawer is a work in progress. It's still an after thought, rather than a "go to" for frequently accessed items. I needed a counter depth fridge though, and I guess I did not realize how much space I would lose.

It is a very good Refrigerator. lot of space and very rich looking. Only concern is samsung is not changing the water-filter for the first time (end of 6 months)

My Samsung kitchen appliances look so nice in my kitchen. They are the stainless steel type and beautiful and shiny. I have decided to replace my kitchen sink and faucet to match them.

Excellent design for ease of access to the refrigerator and the flex door gives versatility when needed. The ice capacity is not as great as we would like. This unit works quietly and efficiently.

Best Buy found us a boxed unit when other vendors were back ordered. I watched them remove all the packaging, so it was genuine. The big points are that this is a very nice Samsung, the price was OK, the ice maker reliably provides crushed and whole cubes, and the unit is at least as quiet as the aging Kitchenaide side-by-side that it replaced. But the coolest features is the slide out drawer beneath the fridge. I use it much more than I ever thought I would for frequent items, like deli items, drinks,and marinading meats. If you are in teh market for a new unit, make sure that you check out those that offer the pull out drawer and decide for yourself if it would work for you.
