Amazing monitor. I mainly use it for video and photo editing the images I capture using my canon 70D and some light gaming. Responds time is amazing in games and the image quality for photo editing is outstanding. If you're looking for a great all around monitor for not a lot of money this is def the monitor for you!

FEATURES: anti-glare, PLS(plane to line switching): Provides better picture quality with higher brightness, much better(2x) improvement in viewing angle,reduces flickerings and much more. Better Picture Quality: Obviously stating again but to specify that it gives almost equivalent quality of Glossy IPS HD display. (As we know that glossy display don't have anti-glare feature but better quality that matte display but matte display have anti-glare but comparatively poor quality) Elegant and Stylish Look: T-shape transparent stand and slim bezels. Eye Saver Mode: I love this feature. if you are going to use monitor for long hour,I think this will really help you to work without stress in your eye. I/O: HDMI with audio out port, VGA Setup: really easy... plug and play. ------------------------------------------------------- I don't think there is anything missing in this display. It is not having DVI (you can connect your DVI port via DVI to HDMI adaptor) or 2 HDMI compatibility or speakers but I feel it is not required for me. This is a great monitor with a huge handicap. This monitor can't be wall mounted. So if you buy multiple monitors with the intent of mounting them onto a multi monitor stand, you can't. Who the heck makes a monitor that can't be wall mounted? Samsung of course!!! I will still recommend the monitor if you don't mind the mount issue. Also, please note that you only have 1 HDMI input and 1 VGA input (they should have added a DVI instead) Other than that it has good colors and performs well.

I game on it looks great, very bright, vivid colors, excellent fit an and finish. Cant say enough except you can get other similar monitors for cheaper money but they're not going to be a Samsung.

My current laptop screen is 1600x900 which is not FULL HD [ridiculous, I know]. My colleague recommended this monitor and I hooked it up to my laptop so I can now experience full HD graphics. WOW, what a difference. Only annoying thing is that the monitor doesn't come with an HDMI cable! Talking to the guys at BB, they said this is typical. Have an extra $20 ready for a basic HDMI cable.

We bought the 24" Samsung LED HD Monitor for my mother who has impaired vision. With her old 19" LCD monitor, she was having more and more trouble using her computer even when she wore her reading goggles that have magnifying lenses. My husband easily set up the new 24" Samsung monitor with no problems. Everything on this monitor is larger, brighter, crisper, and clearer - to the extent that my mother is actually able to see things without her goggles. When on the computer, she still wears her reading goggles, but no longer has difficulty seeing the printed word or following the cursor. She loves her new monitor! It was worth every penny!

After two weeks, I LOVE this monitor, replacing a Dell glossy screen which while very crsip image was always an eye strain from reflected light, and twekaing it to getting just the right brightness, contrast, etc. The "Eye Saver Mode" on this Samsung is perfect for the many hours I spend reading and writing as a college teacher. I cant vouch for how it works for photographers or game players. I have my MacbookPro Retina on the right and my cursor moves fluidly to the monitor on the left for an integrated experience of a very wide display field. I can be referring to three pages simultaneously without strain. The Retina is high end detail, and I don't notice a degrade when I move my eyes to the monitor. Wish the warranty was longer, but at least most credit cards will double it.

I was looking for a monitor to replace my previous Sony 3D PlayStation monitor. I use it with my desktop and my Xbox One. It's a nice display, great colors, the picture is clean, and Samsung knows how to make a monitor. I got it for a great price on sale along with my rewards it was an excellent deal. The only con is that it has 1 HDMI and it would be nice if it had 2. Not necessary but just a personal preference.

Well I just got a new Gaming PC from Bestbuy. It is a prettygood computer. no issues for now...(My first Cyberpower PC I bought 4years ago or so before Bestbuy or anyone else made deals with them was fried less than a week of having it..) Anywho, I unboxed it and plugged it right in. Backtrack real quick. When I went to bestbuy the same person who helped me buy the comp helped me with the monitor. He is a very nice guy and knew what he was talking about, to a degree. I was told this monitor had builtin speakers, but they dont. Which kinda irked me, but I didnt return it and still use it. Thats the only downside I have seen so far. It works pretty good... I havent gamed or used a PC in years... So I am not someone to ask if it is really good or not. For me, it runs fine and everything looks great. Really good low (forgot the name...) but it is the lowest xxxx from any of the monitors they had. Whatever the Xxx is called, it really helps with gaming. The low xxxx really helps with gaming and has something to do with quick registering in FPS. I was told this monitor also works amazing with consoles due to the low xx. I havent played my xboxone since I bought R6 when it came out, so I havent tested it yet. But all I know is, I am a happy customer and would recommend this monitor for gaming, even with consoles. For "competetive" FPS gaming, I was told this works amazing, so I really cant wait to test it someday. Console gaming on Monitors is actually alot better than TVs, because the TV has a lag on it form being so big, so its alot easiee to register hits faster etc.. with a monitor like this. Would buy again!

Beautiful picture. Frustrating controls. The joystick style switch is on the back of the frame. After sending the computer to sleep, there is a lag of several seconds while the monitor searches for a source before it will even allow shut down. The joystick simply does nothing. I hate walking away and hoping it will go to sleep. I should also have checked in advance whether it could be mounted on a monitor arm. It can't.

Great picture, reliable and perfect size for fair price!

The HDMI is a plus for sure. The monitor leans forward a little more than I like and cannot be adjusted. Fortunately for me, I am able to compensate for this issue with the adjustable stand that I set this monitor upon. Picture is good and I paid $100 on Black Friday.

This is a perfect monitor, as I mated it with a new Mac Mini!

Overall, this is a nice monitor. Colors are good, blacks are as deep as can be expected from the panel type. However, there is a significant amount of light bleed on the sides that makes it frustrating at times to use with the lights dimmed.
