I brought it home. It's nice in every way. Well lit, roomy, Loads of room but, The first one we got had a terrible noise at random times, think: like a car starting with a loose fan belt. Screeching. Called Samsung and the rep. told me return the unit since it was new. I had another delivered and by happenstance the delivery men damaged the unit upon delivery. After they left the new unit made a similar noise but not quite as loud. We finally exchanged it for a French Door model LG unit that we love. Best Buy is terrific and the LG unit is terrific but do yourself a favor and pass by on this very noisy unit.

Agree with customers. Noisy sometimes. It is spacious and nice lighting but the lower drawers broke/shattered fairly easily and the side door shelves as well. my $300 dollar fridge from GE lasted me over a decade without any issues. really poor quality product.

Overall, this fridge is a winner! Love the dual cooling system so odors do not transfer from fridge to freezer or vice versa. In addition the ice maker and lighting system save a great amount of space making the fridge more usable.

Order Number: 1115047236928 Bought my new Samsung refrigerator in mid-February, replacing a 15-year old Whirlpool unit. Did my research and believed I was making a good choice. I spent more on this fridge than I did on my first car! The delivery was set for an afternoon, which, as a current high school teacher, I got a "sub" for. Then the call that they would be there at 11:00. Problem #1. Took care of it by asking a colleague to "cover" my class -- but not cool. Delivery people were good but dropped the fridge door upper hinge when installing it -- left a tear in the white plastic at the bottom. Not a big deal, but I chose to call the number provided for "delivery problems" and report it. Not much interest there -- took my info but told me to "go to the store" and report it. Don't have time for that, and believe two other reporting methods should suffice. Problem #2. Filled in an online survey about the damage. Expected at least a response. None ever received. Problem #3. Two days ago (March 6), opening the fridge door makes me think of a well-done Halloween haunted house with the screechy doors. Terrible and annoying noise. Tried WD-40 and finally had to take the door off and grease the absolutely dry lower hinge. Did Samsung or the delivery folks ever think of this? Apparently not. Didn't want to "call it in" and spend another 4-hours waiting for the repair person. Problem #3. Not happy -- won't buy any more Samsung products, and will think twice about Best Buy...

Great fridge with a ton of space! Solid shelving and compartments on the door. I love the bright LED lighting. The only thing I would change is it could use an additional overhead LED light & better lighting below for the pull out drawers- which I think they did include in the updated version of this fridge. I have a well lit kitchen so it's not an issue for me.

Two and a half years ago, we purchased a Samsung Side by Side Stainless-steel refrigerator. We've been happy with it; until a few months ago, when we noticed several tiny spots that look like rust, on the outside of the door. We also noticed a slight discoloration at the bottom of ice dispenser tray. We've always cleaned the unit with recommended products. Having purchased a 4 year Geek Squad extended warranty, we weren't too concerned. When contacted, Best Buy told us the finish isn't covered under the warranty. Then we contacted Samsung. They said they didn't cover it either. We were shocked that you could spend $1300.00 for a refrigerator that's finish could start showing problems in 2 1/2 years and no warranty covered the problems. We are concerned that these minor issues will become major ones over the next few years. The surface is easily scratched, too.

Best buy was great. They delivered it, set it up, provided me with the handle it was missing from the floor model. I love how it looks! It holds a ton of food! It is a beautiful refrigerator and I believe I got it for a fair price, but once the fridge was out of warranty, things went downhill. Three weeks after the warranty ended, it stopped cooling and started making a loud clunking noise. Samsung refuses to do anything. If you decide to take a chance on this one, buy the extended warranty!!!

We've had the refrigerator for about 3 years. It is a nice size for our family of four and the shelf access is very convenient. I would have given it five stars if I had reviewed it during the first few months. After a year and a half, however, we had several weeks where our ground beef spoiled the day after we brought it home from the store. Thought we were getting bad meat from market, but it turned out that the fridge had a problem. When we called a trusted appliance repairman, he told us that the Samsung refrigerators frequently need their compressor fans replaced. Ice builds up in the air circulation channel of the refrigerator cabinet and blocks the compressor/fan and burns it out. We were fortunate that our motor did not burn out and the fridge worked OK after unplugging it overnight so the "frost-free" fridge could defrost. We now compensate for the shortcoming of the refrigerator by leaving a thermometer in the vegetable tray. The thermometer fluctuates when we open the door too frequently, so we sometimes have to guess what the steady-state temperature is. Today the thermometer was reading 40 degrees, despite the refrigerator control being set at 34 degrees. Another package of ground beef went bad two days after a trip to the grocery store. And the refrigerator is unplugged for its second defrosting in two months. Sigh....

The fridge is a good looking model and the price isn't tooo bad for stainless steal and ice/water dispenser. I went with the model without the mini-front door since it seemed like a pointless perk. I don't have kids and honestly they don't need easier access to the fridge with the rising obesity rates in this country if I had one,

Love our new Samsung fridge. Has great features, plenty of room, and looks fabulous. It also makes plenty of ice. Only negative to speak about is the LED lighting in the back of the refrigerator isn't bright enough when fridge is maxed out with groceries. Let's hope it keeps up for as many years as our previous Frigidaire did.

Excellent cooling lot of space in both size best purchase

I replaced a new lg with this refrigerator after it stopped working after a day. This one feels bigger even though it's smaller and the shelf space is usable. Also I really like the ice in the door

Solid refrigerator. Has LED lights down the backside of the unit for better illumination. Freezer has clear plastic shelves. Ice maker can get noisy at times. Water drips from the water dispenser and there is nothing to catch it. Overall, happy with the purchase.

First of all the delivery guys were excellent and careful on the delivery and this the 4th appliance that I have bought from best buy and the prices were great bargains. This refrigerator is quiet and so far no problems. Samsung makes a good product and tell anybody to consider or even compare with the others companies. I always buy middle of the line products not the cheapest

This is just an ok fridge. We received it just today. Out of the box it looks great, just as great as it looked at the store. At the store we saw beautiful lighting and a great fridge. Once at home and the fridge is filled up with food, the lighting is terrible, its like a black box. Ok, you cant have everything, but why does Samsung sell you on LED lighting if the way its set up is to be so dark? Went to fill up a glass of water and after that, the water dispencer hasnt stopped leaking. The fridge is also noisy. So I have brand new fridge that is a bad lit fridge, that leaks water and is noisy. Terribe.

This refrigerator looks great but within the first 5 months of owning it, it stopped cooling. I called Samsung directly because it was still within the 1 year manufactures warranty, a tech came out and said it was the fan. The fan was replaced. Every now and then, it cools very little or it does not cool at all. It takes a couple of days for it to start cooling again, meanwhile I have to throw all the stuff in it out. It is VERY noisy. I don't recommend it.

Design, capacity and storage are the key point of this product along with its noiseless motor
