It is very spacious Refrigerator that my family needed.

Ugh, had our old fridge for 20years. saw this in show room. They didn't have it plugged in. Got home and realized lights are LED and in the BACK so as you put in food. It gets darker. I swear i feel like i need a FLASHLIGHT to see what the HECK is in there. And forget about whats in the drawers. YOu cannot see. I Hate this expensive Fridge. Miss my OLD one. UGH................

It keeps everything in the freezer cold and the fridge side is great. However; it's very noisy and Samsung has told us that this is normal. The compressor is very loud. Will definitely not buy another one. Only Samsung appliance we have an issue with.

Would not recommend this refrigerator. Only after having it for 6 months, it leaked out underneath and ruined my floor. customer service was helpful in getting someone out to repair. After 2 years, it started to have ice build on the back inside of the fridge(in the middle) and now only having it for 7 years, the freezer isnt working.

The descriptions says "LED lighting Offers beautiful illumination, making it easy to locate stored contents at night or in dimly lit conditions." Well, not so much. Since all the lights are the rear wall, when food is placed in the frig, all of the light is effectively blocked, See picture. I have added a motion sensing LED light strip to the inside of one of the door shelves to provide usable light. See picture. Stupid design - lighting is useless. Sorry - No Pictures. "Choose File" will not access my cellphone. Also useless.

I had a 7 year old GE side by side and wanted to upgrade my kitchen appliances while I can and the reviews seemed reasonable and BB had a good sale. The freezer is set per recommendations from Samsung and the health dept to 0 degrees. I have frost accumulation and it runs way more than my other fridge. The water is not cold like my other fridge. The freezer is pretty stocked and the fridge about 70%. Need to call Geek Squad. The filters are expensive. Positive is the finish stainless is nice.

I told my wife not to by more Samsung products but she did not listen to me and bought a RS265TDRS Samsung Refrigerator. As I expected, after 3 years of services, got broken. I called the Service Technician and he explained to me it is "NORMAL" with Samsung Refrigerators to accumulate ice that cover the fan, so it start making an horrible noise. The only solution will be, clean the ice and replace the fan.. He said I was lucky because it happen 3 years after, when the normal period is 2 years, so if you buy this poor quality product, you must be prepared to pay every two years, $200 on services call... This is the third time I have such kind a problem with Samsung products. The other two times it was flat TV's... I will never buy a Samsung product again.

The refrigerator itself is nice when functioning. The interior is nicely laid out with plenty of space. Ice maker works well and the machine is not noisy. It has one annoying issue in that buttons are not lit so you can't tell if you're getting ice or water. HOWEVER, after 18 months of light usage by a family of two, the fridge stopped cooling, and expensive parts out of warranty needed to be replaced. Called Samsung for a repair, and the bill was $440.

Never buy a Samsung refrigerator. It's horrible. The fan freezes up all the time the noise will keep you up at night.

I had problems with led lights and ice maker turning off with first one. They replaced it ASAP and now it's perfect. It's a beautiful working refrigerator. I bought all new Samsung appliances and all of them are awesome. Washer/dryer everything Samsung. No problems at all. Very happy!!!

Unbelievable poor craftsmanship. Initially broken drawers on delivery, had to be replaced. Cooling system failed after 2 months. Poor customer service, tried reasoning with them regarding already attempted common troubleshooting actions, but the service member could not deviate from their script and requested a delay of 24 hours.

This is the loudest frig ever... If makes loud cracks on occasion and with motor running it s very loud. I have a 50 year old frigidare for a keg and it is quieter than this Samsung. What has happened to frigs, I lost two LG frigs in less than 3 years and now this one looks to be another poor quality item. Not sure what brand to buy next, but it is not Samsung. My problem is that is now 2 months out of warrenty, I'm stuck

My refrigerator died yesterday. I woke up to a sopping wet floor and most of my freezer stuff melted. I tried the basic troubleshooting and waited several hours. It hasn’t cooled back down. I called for service and I was told it’s out of warrantee. It is not, but to verify that will take 2 days. Why does it take two days for someone to read my receipt that I sent in via email? This is ridiculous. Add to that that they are refusing to setup a repair order until my warrantee is verified. and that will take another two days at least because there is no one in my area apparently. So now I’m looking at being without a refrigerator for at least 5 days. I have small kids. How exactly am I supposed to manage without a refrigerator for a week? I told them just to setup the repair and I would pay for it then they could reimburse me once they had verified this. They refused. Then after leaving my on hold several times for several minutes each time they hung up on me after I told them to fix it. Is this how you guys do business? Sell sub par products and then dick people around rather than honor your warrantees? This is the worst service I have ever had and unfortunately I have had to deal with Google so that is saying a lot. You guys need to clean up your service department.

My power flickered off briefly and both times the unit shut down into demo mode. This "saves" the condenser unit however it does NOT reboot when power resumes. I lost a full load of food each time. The company says the demo mode is a safety feature. I disagree. Unless you are monitoring your unit frequently, you will not notice it is off until there is a puddle of melted ice on the floor and your freezer is defrosted. It would be great if the unit chimed when power has turned off an on, similar to the clock feature on the stove, micro, etc. The unit is GREAT otherwise. However I would never recommend it due to the demo mode. Would NOT purchase again and sorry I recommended it to a friend who experienced this also.

I'm not sure what the life span of an appliance such as this one should be, but don't expect this one to last more than five years. Mine is intermittently not working and I must find a replacement! It sounds like there is a boxing match going on inside of it while it makes ice, this is no lie! It wakes me up through the night. I have to turn off the ice maker to sleep. I love the fact that the ice maker is not on the top shelf, this may be the reason it is so noisy. Long story short, this fridge will work for a few years, but will fail before you expect it to and will be the source of your insomnia.

Bought this Samsung Side by Side Refrigerator with Twin Cooling in July 2015. The refrigerator stopped working in April 2017, didn't even last for 2 years. We had an outside technician come out and said the defrost system and main control board needed to be replaced, Minimally it would cost $316 for parts not including labor. He also said we can try to unplug it, then plug it in again. We did this but the refrigerator still stayed at 60deg F. He had already been on 3 calls earlier that day for the same reason. Called the Geek Squad (we bought the frig at Best Buy) and because we didn't buy the extended warranty, they could send a technician out at COD, $200 + parts and whatever else deemed necessary. No thanks. This refrigerator should have lasted more than 22 months.

After reading some of the "con" reviews, I guess I'm fortunate that this refrigerator lasted 4 years which is longer than some others. Refrigerator stopped cooling suddenly - temp was at 60 and would not lower. Local refrigerator service repairman came to take a look and indicated it was a defrost issue and that he would need to order a defroster kit and it would take another week to arrive. Total for defroster kit and labor would be > $500. A week is a long time to go without a refrigerator. I decided to purchase a new refrigerator but will stay away from Samsung. Have other Samsung products such as TV, tablets, etc and never had a problem. I should have read the reviews more closely on their refrigerators. Seems like every time I purchase a new refrigerator they are lasting shorter and shorter each time.

We have had this unit for three months. The icemaker is a constant problem. It has stopped working once or twice a week. Each time you need to go through a complicated reset procedure. Not sure why consumer reports rated so high. I would never buy another Samsung product

Ok so the thing they need to work on for the next generation of this refrigerator is to have more led lighting. Lighting is not the best when the fridge is full. Add a few lighting strips to the sides but other than that this is a new model and a great buy.

Good Refrigerator for any home. Samsung has a great company when it comes to appliances and their warranty service is excellent.
