Love it really nice refrigerator and keeps your food really cold Mice and roomie

most regrettable purchase ever was samsung fridge, microwave, and freestanding range. the fridge has NO back lighting on the control panel and is absolutely unreadable in the day light. useless. the drawers are very brittle plastic and have started to crack on the slide rails, one is broken off already after 14months! the microwave is already blown up at a year and had to fight for a few months to get it repaired. walk away from all samsung kitchen garbage, low quality and absolutely NO HELP FROM SAMSUNG. Best buy has no fault in this craptasktick product, they just sell them and give me really great deals on interest free purchases.

I have had 3 of these fridges (in black) and all 3 went bad due to the freezer freezing up at the back and the fan making very loud noise when hitting the built up ice. We purchased the best buy extended warranty and all 3 times we got the fridge replaced through the warranty. Best buy has to come out 3 times for the same problem and then they deem it a lemon. Best buy has never been a problem to work with. If you do buy this fridge, the extended warranty is a must. I'm in search of another fridge, but it won't be this one or any other Samsung fridge.

Have loved the ice control and when it tells you to change filter

We bought this refrigerator 3 years ago and it's no longer in service. We've tried multiple things multiple repairs and does not work worst purchase ever.

I bought this refrigerator and I love everything about it. It cools like it is supposed to. I love all the features.

My unit was bought in October 2019. Now there's a really loud noise coming from the fan or some interior mechanism, and the water has stopped. This, after the Samsung dishwasher, bought at the same time, leaked all over the wood floors in my house about a year ago. Oh, and the microwave- bought at the same time, had a faulty door mechanism that had to be fixed. These products aren't even two and 1/2 years old. Just waiting for the oven we got in the package deal to fail.

Great refrigerator! The filtered water is the best I have ever had and had ruined all other water for me.

Heads up: do NOT buy Samsung appliances. Actually the installer warned me they often need repair, but now the poor Samsung repairman has had to come out FIVE times and is now video conferencing with their engineer as they’re making him PROVE what he told them two visits ago, which is that the defective unit needs to be replaced after 4 months.

I compared this to other brands. This had best features for the price.

Has been nothing but problems. look elsewhere and do not buy Samsung.

Really regret buying this fridge. Compressor noise is many times louder than any fridge I've owned. It's not like it drowns a conversation or the TV out, but with most refrigerators you cant even hear them run. This one has a noticeable annoying noise , imagine, with your windows closed, hearing a neighbor two houses down mowing his lawn. The ice dispenser really is messy , even if you hold your glass up high. I read reviews on here and saw some comments about these issues, but also saw many positive comments. I checked this fridge out on Consumer Reports and it got high marks also. I disregarded some of the negative comments because there will always be some, but I made a mistake on this one. Disappointed with a poor product from Samsung, they had to know they were selling a noisy refrigerator. :(

Had this for 4 years and needed to be fixed 7 times its a lemon

the ice maker has failed 2 twice in 2 years now the refrigerator is not cooling in the same time i purchased the extended warranty part is to be ordered no info when part will arrive I have food packed in coolers poor customer service no 14 digit tracking number available to track my order on line

First, let me say, Best Buy's response to my issue was swift and the resolution was smooth. After five days of use the refrigerator seemed cool not cold. I purchased a refrigerator thermometer and it read 50 (this was at the max cold setting. It should read at the minimum required 41 ) I am disappointed with Samsung quality (I am also returning a stove delivered 5 days ago after the glass top discolored on the underside upon the first heating element test).

Like scores of other people, our Samsung refrigerator looks good but doesn't perform well. The ice-maker is terrible and quit working correctly after 18 months. By then, we had already reverted to buying ice because the ice-maker is pathetic. More importantly, after two years, ice build-up behind the back panel began interfering with the fan...making a loud noise when active. Defrosting is a temporary fix. When I took a look at the back panel to remove it and melt the ice, I saw multiple cracks in the plastic. This is a common problem spanning multiple models of Samsung refrigerators. We won't be buying another Samsung appliance.

Bought RS25J500DSR/AA side buy side stainless refrig stored it while working on my house for nearly two years with no damage to unit.never took it out of the packaging ,My fault it was stored but,IT was broken right out of the packaging ice door opining and closing no warranty no solution will never buy this brand again,to late at this point, every thing in the house is samsung, bought new panel and ice door assy but still didnt fixit i trusted them now i don't seems to be an ongoing problems with their fridge im switching to GE

Was a solid refrigerator for a while but have dealt with a leaky freezer the last year and can no longer deal with updating which towel to use so that it doesnt ruins my floors.

All Samsung Refrigerators are Lemons, we had trouble with ours in the first week and in 5 years, 3months after the extended warranty ended it finally started leak and make load noise. I have friends and their Refrigerators are goin on 15-20 years without any issues. So far we tried an LG=5 years, Samsung+5 years. We will try others and see if they past the 5 year mark. This why you will see Samsung's & LG's 1/2 off sales because of their reputation with the consumers
