There are so many options, we looked at several. Based on selection, features, size and price, this was the best fridge for us. It has been a very good choice.

Like many, I bought this because my GE of 13 years gave out. Did some shopping around before arriving at this unit. Samsung seems to have a base design and make variants off of it. So far this has been good with minor humming noises. It did arrive with several dings (four), I read about this in previous reviews and it seems like that cause is from a specific cart used to move the unit. The reps at Best Buy were more than accommodating with replacement or discount. I chose the later. Hoping this will last long with all the regular preventative maintenance needed.

Great fridge - great functionality, however 2 things to aware of #1 use the lock out function when you have small children otherwise you come home to a flooded kitchen when the freezer defrosts. #2 know how much the filters are before you buy. Nothing like shell Shock when the filter goes and your out $75 bucks

I love this frig, the shelves adjust to the levels that I need. They are strong enough to hold an entire watermelon, and being glass they are easy to clean, and if you are a bit vertically challenged, you can see though the bottom to see what is an the upper shelf. It is quiet, has lots of room, shelves are easily adjusted, lighting is good. In the freezer there is a tall thin area that I was unsure of how to use, the delivery men suggested it would be good for frozen pizza, and it would. But we do not buy much frozen pizza, so we use it for boxes of ice cream bars, 2 fit side by side and then we can put small stuff on the top of the boxes as well. The through the door dispenser is great, tall enough for my LARGE plastic cups, is easy to change from water to cubed iced or crushed ice, I only wish it had lights in the buttons that switch it from water to ice so that the buttons themselves can be seen at night. It does have lights telling you what features are selected, and a LED in the dispenser that comes on when you use it, or can be turned on full time.

This is a great fridge for the price. Lot's of space, moreso in the refrigerator area. I bought an open-box item and the staff was great with working with me on price and delivery with install and haul-away of my old fridge. They even arrived early!

I've had a similar Samsung fridge before and loved it. That's why we chose this one. The ice maker didn't work when it was first delivered, but Samsung sent out a repairman who switched it out with a new one that works perfectly! I suspect the other one was fine also, based on what the repairman told us. He said if you run into this problem and the reset button (on the bottom front of the ice maker) doesn't chime when you hold it in for a few seconds, try unplugging the refrigerator for a few seconds to reset the whole thing and try again with the reset button. He said these ice makers are the most reliable around, but the communication with the fridge sometimes just doesn't work. Only possible drawback: could have more flexibility on where you can put the shelves. But the butter compartment and the door shelves all hold a lot. The freezer door shelves are a bit skimpy though, too.

Plenty of room and easy to use. Plenty of freezer space and a fine ice maker.

I have had this refrigerator for a month now and it works great. The ice maker got shut off accidentally by our kids and I thouh it was broke until I pulled out the manual and read it. Turned it on and have had no problems since. Great buy

It a nice fridge. I can't say it's the best bc it is loud at times. But is what we were looking for.

This is a great refrig for the price.it was recommended by my son who has one. Like the led lights.

Great fridge, fantastic price. Had problems at the beginning. Called Geek squad but they don't service Samsung refrigerators but they sell the Geek Squad protection,strange. Contacted Samsung they were going to send someone out. I read the manual and found that that is was set for display. Changed the settings and it works great. Had it for a few years and I would recommend it to anyone. Too bad the installers did not know how to install correctly

Lots of space. Ice maker is a little loud when making ice.

I love this refrigerator. Great looks, water is cool out of the dispenser, makes crushed and cubed ice. Quiet also. Love the LED lighting inside too!

I had the fridge model immediately preceding this one. The revisions they've made to this series has made the cost go down and somehow the quality has apparently gone up, which is very unusual. Ice maker works great compared to previous model. The control panel no longer sticks out about an inch like the older one. The only downside I've noticed compared to previous more expensive models is the fact that it doesn't come with the dairy drawer. Which has been a bit of an annoyance. However it is a couple hundred dollars cheaper than the older model so for the money saved you could easily buy that as a separate accesory and still save money. All around a great fridge so far.

Bought this spontaneously because we needed it right away. Don't ever purchase things that quick. Walked into Best Buy to see if we could find what we were looking for and this refrigerator fit the bill. It was a floor model. We have had a few glitches; but has now since been fixed and works great!

This was a great purchase and I love this refrigerator. It has so much space inside and it really brings out the kitchen with its great look.

Really like my new refrigerator. Runs quiet. I like the technology, room inside & looks outside.

A refrigerator thermometer (not included) is a great aid in learning to set the freezer and refrigerator levels for best performance. With that help, and a few days of trial, the controls allow nearly perfect settings. The unit is quiet. LED lighting of the interior works well.
