I purchased this based on previous Samsung that lasted 8 years - Not my Fathers Fridge that lasted 23. 4 months old and the Ice Maker Flapper that lets the Ice come out constantly opened and closed every second. Called Samsung - Took 5 weeks to get a repair man out. Came out with the wrong part. I waited 2 more weeks and showed up in my driveway with the wrong part. I told him everything I read said that it was the wiring harness in the door and to not show up without a new door. He Replaced the Motherboard, the Ice Flapper and finally the Door was the fix. It's now been 3 weeks later and I have to call them back out because i am getting a PC ERR code on the digital display - basically saying either a cable wasn't connected right or a new motherboard replacement... Other then that - I wish i had the 25.6 cu ft old one - just bigger and more room to store things neatly instead of on top of each other... The Freezer is smaller too.

Beautiful sleek doesnt show any fingerprints . only noise you hear is an occasional ice drop into bucket. Water tastes delicious and is super cold . Best buy staff was so nice and knowledgeable.

I really do like it.. the only complaint I have is that about a year in if having the fridge the ice maker stopped working. According to the rep that fixed it, it’s common for hot air to get into the freezer and create for the water to freeze and block the ice from generating. He sealed it and haven’t had a problem since, but I’m thinking if they’re aware then why not have them made correctly in the first place.

I love the refrigerator and its size! The black stainless steel does show every little thing on it though, from dust to lint and fingerprints it shows everything. The ice maker does not produce enough ice to keep up with my family so I still have to buy ice. Overall it is nice and would be even better for a smaller family. We have 8 people in our household and the size is great if only the icemaker had a larger storage compartment.

I loved the look of this unit, and have heard great things about the brand. Overall, I think it's a great fridge/freezer, but I still prefer a side by side. Personally, I felt like the I didn't have the same space I had with my previous fridge (left it with the house when we sold it). The door on a side by side gave me enough room to store condiments and 2 liter drinks, and I liked the separation of shelves. I just can't seem to get organized with the French Door version. As far as the freezer goes, I like the wider space, but again, hard to get organized, especially when items are placed right on top of each other. The ice maker and water dispenser is a plus, but often, unless the cup is covering the shaft, some ice and water drips into the floor. The temperature stays nice and even with the twin cooling system, great lighting, and aesthetically pleasing for sure. Bottom line, if you like French doors, this is an excellent choice. But for me, I prefer a side by side, which is why I rated it a 3.

After going back and fourth with my wife about features vs cost - we opted to go into the store and see what was available, believing it's always best to touch and feel rather than live an die on someones review. We found this Samsung model Fridge and I immediately thought ... this doesn't look like a TV, but we pressed forward since it has everything we wanted. The fridge is awesome - best decision we could have made. Water comes out cold, Ice Maker consistently drops ice, and while that seems like (so what) it's a a big difference over our GE brand side by side. The space inside takes some getting used to coming from a side by side but the bottom pull out freezer is awesome. The sensitive touch panel on the side of the fridge makes everything super easy - especially pushing the fridge and freezer into a rapid cooling cycle which is great for having just purchased the item. It makes the fridge and freezer run really low until temp is reached for a period of 4 hours. I'd recommend the brand to anyone.

This is a beautiful fridge to look at and very conveniently designed. We chose this refrigerator because of the generous freezer space. It is like jewelry for your kitchen!

Didnt think i would like the bottom freezer but after having it I love it. Love the new color. Seems to run very quiet

I was not looking for a French door refrigerator when my old side by side died. I thought I would replace with another side by side, as I am (was) not very fond of the bottom freezer. I saw the refrigerator in the store and fell in love with it. I have been very happy with the performance of the refrigerator and like having so much space in the cooler part of the refrigerator. There is so much flexibility with storage. I was concerned about the freezer, but have not had any issues since I purchased it. I also love the LED lighting, every space is so bright. Additionally I am very happy having the ice machine in the top portion of the refrigerator and not in the freezer.

Got this fridge at the Black Friday sale at a good price. Got it a replacement for a very old one. Very modern & gives the space an updated look.

Just bought a new house and had to buy a refrigerator. I have to say this refrigerator is awesome. So much more space than any of my old refrigerators and so much more convenient with the deep freezer. The sales lady also showed me the difference between Samsung refrigerators and other refrigerators by slamming the door. With other brands you can feel like cold air being pushed out which wastes more money losing that cold air. With Samsung, you litteraly feel nothing escape which in turn means more money saved and fresher foods. The humidity control in the crisper drawers is excellent and the water filter is easy to replace. Samsung by far has the best refrigerators on the market today.

Big, lots of room and compartments for storage, only downfall is ice maker is a tad noisy

I had my eye on this refrigerator for a while and when it went on sale I took advantage of the opportunity to snag it for a great price. It's an investment I don't regret. It looks so sleek in my kitchen and has plenty of space for everything. It's sturdy enough to handle my three kids and cleans like a breeze. Although I will say be careful because it seems to scratch easily. I Left the clear plastic film from the manufacturer on the bottom since I have a dog that likes to climb and scratch. All in all great buy!

Great buying experience, I only wished I could've seen it in store before the purchase. Plenty of space and the perfect color match. Keeps cold better than our old fridge. Full cabinet underneath, not a wire rack, which we really needed. My only downside is it's smaller than what we had hoped for, but that was on the house not the fridge, and it only has one drawer in the fridge area that is collapsable to fit 2 Liters and milk.

Before buying the refrigerator, or any by Samsung, ask youself 2 questions: 1) Do I want to pay for something that will break within a year? 2) Can I go for 45+ days without a refrigerator waiting for Samsung to get it right? If you answered "no" to either of those questions, then you should buy something else. This fridge started pouring water all over my kitchen at a rapid rate one day. Thankfully, I was home to shut the water off and minimize damage. The fridge is less than 1 year old, so still under Samsung's Manufacturer's warranty. I called them in minutes after stopping the water flow. This was 45 days ago. A Samsung technician looked at it and determined that it was unfixable, and would be replaced or refunded as it's under warranty. That was 39 days ago. I've spent more than 3 hours of time on 15 phone calls from that point. I was just informed that it will be another 7 days before they are able to send me an email that will tell me the final steps to request a refund. That's an email I was told I would get 10 days ago. This refrigerator is garbage, and the Samsung Customer service is worse.

The freezer is huge. I love it. The refrigerator area is about average. I would like there to be more room for taller items. The water dispenser comes out very slowly. Delivery was a totally smooth transaction too, the men were very nice and worked with precision and speed.
