Only thing I dislike about this one compared to our old Samsung is the temperature of the fridge and freezer do not stay illuminated. You have to hit the button to see the temps. Great open shelves and random sized door shelves to fit butter and such in there. We really like it. The freezer is nice too and hold what we need.

Do NOT purchase this product or any other Samsung product that is marketed as "Black Stainless". In the summer of 2019, I purchased a Frig, Dishwasher, Microwave and Stove/Oven from Best Buy. They were marketed as "Black Stainless" and they looked great. Now, in early 2023, I discovered that the black stainless is simply a dark film covering the stainless underneath and it's peeling! Looks horrible! I went to my Best Buy in Orange Park, FL and talked with the store manager, Jay. He sympathized with me but refused to do anything citing company policy. Samsung is saying the same and now there are multiple class action lawsuits in place. Basically, this is DECEPTIVE marketing that resulted in a defective product. DON'T BUY ANY SAMSUNG PRODUCT MARKETED AS "BLACK STAINLESS". YOU'LL REGRET IT IF YOU DO!

When cleaning this fridge, we do not recommend not to use abrasive or harsh cleansers such as window sprays, scouring cleansers, flammable fluids, muriatic acid, cleaning waxes, concentrated detergents, bleaches, or cleansers containing petroleum products on exterior surfaces (doors and cabinet). This can scratch or damage the material.

My family are big eaters. We make big meals and we can easily store leftovers. We have had other Samsung fridges/appliances and have never been disappointed.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a complete set of samsung appliances and this is the only one that seems to be something wrong with. it cools fine but has a pretty loud noise after i close it and only happens when the compressor is on seems like a seal leak toward the back of the fridge.Ice maker works great but if you have a big family i would go with the one that has a ice maker in the bottom too.I got a smoking deal on the combo i got so I'm not disappointed

Thanks for the feedback. The Ice Master ice maker in the RF263BEAESR is designed to produce up to 10 lbs per day under ideal conditions, though it store 4.2 lbs. If you aren't dispensing ice regularly, then the ice maker may not be producing to its capacity. If the bin is being emptied and the ice maker is producing less than the 10 lbs, then I would suggest you refer to the User Manual or online Troubleshooting Guide for tips on improving the ice production. These resources also have tips on addressing noises from the refrigerator.

Wish the ice maker was a little larger and easier to access but workable. Shelves are easy to move. Doors shelves on ice maker side could be deeper freezer on bottom has a lot of storage space. Over all it is a nice refrigerator!

But the Ice Maker doesn't work AT ALL and we tried all of the troubles shooting tips. So less than 3 days after having it delivered, we've had to set up a service request to see what is wrong. Seems unfortunate but we will wait to see if they fix/replace it!
