The size and capacity of this machine is great. The only problem I have had so far is that when the bottom rack is out all the way and you get it fully loaded, it does not always flow smoothly back into the machine, it can dip and try to tip so you have to be careful when pushing the rack back in.

I had originally set out to buy a dishwasher for less than $300. The trouble, as I found out, is that at that price point they're all the same. Frigidaire, GE, KitchenAid, Kenmore, Whirlpool... They're essentially all the same dishwasher made by Whirlpool in Clyde, OH. And the feel of those units gives you a sense that not only are they cheap, they're also inexpensive. At the next ($400-ish) level, you have Samsung, LG, Bosch -- and more expensive versions of the Whirlpool. For me, it was a bit of a roll of the dice. I like our Samsung refrigerator (8 years old now), and I liked the stainless interior of this one, as well as the lack of heating elements inside the tub. This was a point that some people said was less desirable, butI like being able to put plastic things (like blender carafes and Delrin cutting boards) on the bottom, without melting them. Installation was no more or less difficult than any other dishwasher, but the channels on the bottom of the dishwasher that provide places for the electrical and plumbing hookups is a nice touch. Similarly, the rear height adjustment (from the front) as well as leveling feet at the front makes for easy, perfect leveling. Within reason, everything that goes in comes out clean and spot free (with a rinse agent). Sure, if you put bowls in the top with dried on oatmeal, they probably won't come clean. That's not really the dishwasher's fault. It's very quiet, and all the controls, and everything you touch (racks, baskets, etc) has an upmarket feel to it. Think: the interior fit and finish of an Acura/Infiniti/Lexus. Nothing feels like it's going to break off in your hand like, say, the windshield wiper control stalk on my 18 year-old Subaru. But that was the sense I got from the Whirlpool-based stuff. Some complained that there's not enough granular control over the cycles and settings. I don't know. I put it on SmartAuto+ and let it do its thing. Everything comes out so fresh and so clean, clean #OutKast. For $400, I think it's a very nice dishwasher, and I would buy one again.

Whomever designed this dishwasher gets a gold star. I can fit an amazing amount in it. Everything comes out clean as a whistle. It is whisper quiet. My only (small) complaint is that I had a bit of trouble figuring out the instrument panel. Now that I have it set the way I want it - no problem at all.

Beautiful black with stainless stell interior. Plenty of room. Comes with two removable silverware racks - if you only need to fill one that leaves additional room for more dishes! Very Quite. The only thing that's I don't like is it seems to have trouble with powdered dishwasher detergent - sometimes doesn't dissolve. So I just switched to gel.

After a Maytag died JUST past its 1 year warranty, we decided to try something new. Was torn between Bosch and Samsung. Went with the Samsung due to great sale price (was a higher end model than the Bosch we were considering). First, love how quiet this is. In an open floor plan, this was really important to us, and this has lived up to its "silent" promise. It's easy to use, and I like the "smart" cleaning option (dishwasher decides how dirty, long, etc it should run). It can also fit a lot of dishes into it. Sleek design. Many people complain about the effectiveness of drying the dishes. I always make sure to use a Jet-Dry type product, which helps the drying process. Even still, some dishes aren't 100% dry after a cycle, but it's not enough to bother me. I usually notice it mostly on the top rack cups. I just take a towel and wipe across everything quickly before unloading-- sometimes. Again, doesn't really bother me that much. Overall, I think this is a great dishwasher, though I am only 2 months in.

This dishwasher is quiet and does a good job of cleaning the dishes. It has a nice appearance and the controls are easy to use. The upper rack spacing is a bit awkward to set bowls in but otherwise very functional. The bottom rack goes off track easily when pushing back into the dishwasher but a small issue given the price, appearance, and quality of the machine.

I am not sure yet how I feel about this dishwasher. I have had it for approximately 3 weeks and have used it at least 5 times (I'm single, so I don't use as many dishes). I am having trouble loading it to my satisfaction (bottom rack, the tines don't line up from front to back, so I can't get my cookie sheets in correctly and my plates are at an angle, etc.) I'm sure I will figure it out in time. I LOVE how quiet it is. The very first time I ran it, I had to get up and go check to make sure it was running........I was making ice tea in my ice tea maker on the counter above it and the tea was making WAY more noise than the dishwasher. I don't like how long the cycles are (my old, noisy one was finished w/washing and drying in 1 1/2 hrs and this one washes for about that long....on the short cycle!).

Who likes gross food sitting in a dishwasher filter (who wants to clean that? Ewww) and having that sitting in your dishwasherwith 'clean' dishes? Not me! I bought this dishwasher because i wanted clean dishes while also having a a hard food disposer/grinder, a flexible rack system, and a sanitization cycle. Lets be realistic who wants to scrub out pots and pans and dogbowls? With this dishwasher, i dont have to. It has an awesome flex rack system that has a removeable bottom section, it can fit a 7 qt crock pot, a tall pitcher for iced tea, plus loads more room for other stuff. It pretty much fits just about anything, top rack moves up and down to accomodate large items on bottom rack and full sized plates on top rack (yey! Pots now all fit in bottom rack). You do have to remove top rack to change height but way easy, honestly its less complicated than some of the other 'easy' rack moving systems. It doesnt have a delay start but other than that for the money its awesome as i priced models with similar features that cost 400 to 500 +. No delicate cycle but it does have an auto cycle which i love! It is really quiet too, silence is beautiful.... :) It gets dishes really clean too, no more re-washing! Overall an awesome buy cause its gets all my dishes, pots and pans clean while providing the flexibility for large items while all the while you wonder did i turn on my dishwasher?

This is a great dishwasher. I would purchase it again. The only 2 things I would change about it are: 1) I would make the top rack easier to load cups. They seem to tip sideways as the bottom of the top rack is only flat on two rows. The others are slanted (I think this is a feature, but would prefer flat so nothing tips) 2) I would make the silverware holders sturdier. The silverware holders tip sideways if not balanced equally on both sides. They also come off quite easily (I think this is a feature, but I would prefer they are stationary). Other than those two complaints it is a really nice dishwasher that cleans the dishes very well and is also very quiet. Happy I purchased it!

This dishwasher works very nice, quiet running. Seems to be cleaner inside after a wash with the stainless steel interior. Some things don't quite fit with the racks set up the way they are, but it may be blue to a different style from my old one. But I do like how it is doing the job. Nice looking exterior and easy to use.

I relied on Samsung's quality to help decide on this dish washer. The price for a washer with a stanless steel was unbeatable. I'm just learning how to use it, and so far, it seems to be doing a great job. There are lots of features: 3-propellors to spray dishes, vinyl coated racks with various shapes and sizes of places for dishes, bowls, stem ware glasses, silver ware, and anything else you want to put in it. The unit had been criticized for not having enough cycles and for not drying the dishes. These are not problems, because what everyone wants is clean dishes, and it cleans very well. I've found that tipping cups with concaved bottoms allowes them to dry completely. There are no heating elements in a stainless tub, but the hot air flow of this washer dries dishes satisfactorily. It looks good, and it works good!! Go get one!!

Have had this dishwasher a few weeks and seems to clean appropriately. Pros are it is quit. I'm having a little harder time trying to stack the dishes in the top rack due to the varied levels of the rack. (not a flat surface) Could be just a matter of getting used to also.

Looks nice, doesn't make much noise. However, for the first week, my dishes would not dry at all! After putting in jet dry, they come out dry. Just not something I would expect from a new washer to NEED a drying agent to get the dishes dry.

This is a fantastic dishwasher and a great price. My musts - energy star rated and quiet. Both have exceeded my expectations. Because of the size of the tub and the arrangements of the racks, I don't have to wash dishes as frequently - saving water and energy. I was disappointed at first that there wasn't a heat dry option, but using the sanitize cycle and rinse aid works better than my old dishwasher with heat dry. This dishwasher is very quiet. I can run it even if we are trying to have a conversation or watch TV right next to the dishwasher. Our refrigerator is much louder than the dishwasher. The dishwasher looks great, too! Excellent job, Samsung!

I wanted something that was quiet and had large enough capacity for my pots and pans as well as the dinner dishes. It does that, However, the soap dispenser gets stuck and not all of the detergent is used. I don't know if I need to wash again or whether it sanitized the dishes. When dispenser didn't jab, dishes squeaky clean. I switched detergent and and finding more success,

First Samsung dishwasher. Very quiet and a great price. Product wasn't in stock but had it in 3 days. Easy to install. Only 'con' is that silverware baskets are on side so you have to open door fully. Also tall spatulas etc do not clear water blades so have to lie down on top shelf but I can live with that!

I've had this product for 2 months now. It is a very good dishwasher for the money. The materials are not as nice as some of the more expensive dishwashers, but it's quiet and does a nice job washing the dishes. So far so good.
