First Samsung product that I have ever bought, won't be the last. Super quiet operation. Very complete instal instructions and easy to follow. Easy to operate, very sylish with clean lines. Stainless Steel is easy to clean. No residue on any dish's even large pans.

I have been using it for a month so far it does it's job.

This unit has a clean look with top controls. It cleans even the most soiled dishes with ease. It lacks a little in the drying of dishes but makes up for it in thoroughly cleaning all. I am very pleased. It is very quiet and I do not even know it is working.

This is a great unit, that's generally quiet, dependable, and easy to operate if the instructions are followed. It has a number of great features, like a fully removable upper basket for exceptionally large items; adjustable upper basket height for when you are cleaning large items in the lower basket, and an innovative drying system that pumps air into the unit as opposed to pushing the hot air out. One common question regarding the unit involves the kickplate -- there is one included, although it is not shown in many of the pictures you find on the web. Similarly, drying performance is entirely dictated by the use of an appropriate rinse aid agent. Using a good quality rinse aid results in good general performance. A few points of caution on the unit to be aware of: - I rated the quality four stars as I had to have my unit replaced shortly after installation. The upper basket is fully adjustable and is held in place on each side by six plastic hooks that attach firmly to the basket assembly on each side. Inexplicably, these suddenly began to detach and one got caught in the motor. The replacement unit hasn't had this issue, so it seemed to be an anomaly of the first unit. - The unit is indeed quiet but the marketing materials state "so quiet you don't know it's on" in some places -- this is a bit oversold. If you have nothing in the unit, no detergent, and the soap dispenser door is closed -- yes, it is almost that quiet. In practice, my informal noise sample shows about ~51db of noise during normal operation, and ~49db during empty operation as I described. For most people, this is pretty darn good, and you can have the unit run during people being in the kitchen or watching TV without disruption. - The lower seal, like most dishwasher, can accumulate some food. I'd recommend a weekly cleaning with a kitchen towel to insure good, long-term operation. - The water leakage/high water level sensor -- a feature of the unit -- can be triggered by some brands of soaps which over sud and result in an erroneous water level indication. Again, much like the rinse aid, good dishwasher soap for high efficiency machines will address the issue. In general, I believe most people will find this to be a great addition to their kitchen. It's low power and water consumption, coupled with easy operation, make it a good appliance.

The dishwasher we had before this was so noisy you couldn't watch television in the next room. You don't know that this Samsung is running. It stanless steal but has that little area at the top for controls. We love it!

We can't even hear when running we know because the light is on and we also love the fact that not a heated dry unit so saves a bundle.

Great looking quiet appliance. However sometimes it leaved small spots on glasses. Maybe I need to try a different rinse aide.

Very quite you don't even know it's running. Wife hasn't figured the delay start yet, but then she won't read the manual.

This is a grate dishwasher. It is very quite, almost to the point of not knowing if its running. the set up of the racks take some getting use to, but with some basic reasoning skills you will have no problem loading it like some people have complained about. One of the bets features is the top rack is very easily and quickly removed for over sized pots and pans that I would normally have to wash and dry by hand. The top rack does not fit most plastic containers very easily. However since it has a hidden heating element the plastic can be put on the bottom rack. The only problem i have had is a plastic piece that holds the top rack rail on the tub rollers would not stay clipped to the rail. I called the 800 number and told them the problem, by the end of the week i had a replacement. Customer service was very good. As for the lack of drying the some people have complained about I have had no problems. The Jet Dry dispenser is adjustable so if it not drying to your particular taste you simply have to turn up the dispenser. Some plastic doesn't get completely dry but I have never seen a dishwasher that will completely dry plastic. Over all very good buy, I have zero regrets.

This is a very nice and quiet dishwasher. It is well worth the price.

Great dishwasher, a bit pricey, but it seems to be worth it so far

When we first got this dishwasher a year ago we loved it. It was quiet and did a good job cleaning the dishes. About 5 months later we had our first major repair. The adjustable brackets on the top rack have plastic tabs that keep the rack in place. We never adjusted the racks, but with normal loading and unloading of the dishwasher, the tabs started breaking off. We didn't notice at first and they fell into the grinder. This wrecked the grinder and it had to be replaced. Shortly after, we noticed that occasionally the touch control panel wouldn't power up. If we hit the circut breaker off and then back on, it would usually reset the dishwasher and we could start it. A couple months ago, it started to make a loud buzzing noise when it was drying. The whole dryer assembly on the door had to be replaced. The Geek Squad tech told us this was a common issue with this dishwasher. Then we started noticing that the dishes on the top rack didn't seem to be getting as clean. The 2 top water spinners had to be replaced. We also had to have the brackets for the top rack replaced as some tabs broke off again (what a poor design!). The last straw was when the control panel quit completely. We had it replaced only to have it quit again 2 weeks later. The tech the second time said that it looked like water was getting into the control panel and shorting it out. Needless to say, we are having Best Buy replace it with a different dishwasher and different brand.

I'm not happy with this purchase. I would not recommend to any of my firends or family. I need a heater to dry my dishes I don't have time to hand dry each one that I take out of the washer. I wished that the salesperson would have told me this prior to my purchase.

The moment you open and load the dishwasher you begin to realize the quality materials. Loading the dishwasher was quite different than my old unit since the bottom tray has so much more space. We were able to load everything without a problem. (Pots, pans, many dishes and "sippy" cups. (which often get thrown all around) Once running it is very, very quite. I had grown accustom to the sound of the ocean waves crashing into my kitchen with my last dishwasher. But this Samsung is very quiet. The sound proofing material that surrounds the dishwasher looked like a packing blanket and what a difference it makes!! Just for a test we packed it full of day old dishes that were sitting in the sink. Normally we prewash or rinse off the dishes before loading but I wanted to test this unit. They came out looking great and not covered in soap scum and residue. Also the children's cups were not scattered about and filled with water, which was very annoying with our old dishwasher. I have the matching Samsung convection oven and microwave, (enjoyed them for over a year with no issues.) and now everything matches and my kitchen looks great. Now that the unit is on sale I jumped on this deal. Over $200 off with free install and delivery... don't miss out. I'm very happy with my purchase and recommend this dishwasher.

I am very pleased with how amazingly this dishwasher cleans the dishes! No more washing any of my dishes. They go straight from stove to dishwasher and table to dishwasher. Everything comes out very clean. The only things I don't like about this dishwasher are the racks. They just aren't organized in a way that lets me load a lot of dishes in there. The instruction manual shows how to load a 'table setting for 10", but who has 10 plates, 10 salad plates, 10 dessert plates. I have tupperware, sippy cups, bowls, coffee mugs, etc. This stuff doesn't fit in well. The side holders, where glasses go, are broken up in the middle by a very, narrow space where the top rack is connected to the washer. So you can only put about 2 glasses on each side of this narrow opening. Also, the silverware holders 'float' on the bottom rack by a clumsy attachment to the side of the rack. So if you load them unevenly they tip to the heavy side. It's very annoying to have to plan your silver loading instead of just startng at the back and working your way forward as the compartments get filled.
