Generally a decent machine, and for the sale price a pretty good deal. Not what I would consider top quality .

I wish I could give this dishwasher 0 stars. Just so I can say something positive, it is extremely quiet. I think that is because it isnt cleaning anything. 1. placement of dishes in confusing and not laid out to maximize the space. We are a family of 5 and run the dishwasher every night. We have never had a problem with other dishwashers fitting a days worth in. 2. The bottom rack falls off the track every time you pull it out to load dishes and you then need to lift the entire thing, dishes and all to put it back on track. 3. I ran the dishwasher 5 times (3 times on one load) since we had it installed and the soap dispenser only opened once. 4. None of the dishes were clean, in fact the glasses on the top rack were coated in the food from the bottom rack. I ran the same load 3 times and it couldnt even clean the soap off the inside of the door. 5. Nothing was dry. The positive is that Best Buy is exchanging it with no hassle. Hopefully the new one I picked is better than this one. STAY AWAY!

Purchased this dishwasher about 18 months ago. About a week ago noticed it would pump water out during initial startup of wash cycle, but no clean water pumped in for washing. Service tech came out to the house, at my expense since washer is now off warranty, and after taking dishwasher apart noted the intake pump had failed and the motor had burned out. Repairs would cost about $500.00. Also, although I used a stainless steel appliance cleaner and spray wax on the front of the dishwasher, it would still stain. I'm now in the market for another dishwasher, but it won't be a Samsung. Please note that I have purchased many different Samsung products in the past, and purchased this dishwasher because of the brand. Maybe I just bought a lemon, but it sure should have lasted longer than 18 months.

Completely dead 25 days after I got it. Spent over 5 hours on phone trying to schedule a service appointment. I own a Samsung tv and blue ray player, with no problems. Thought I was buying a good brand. Won't buy Samsung again.

Dishwasher looks & feels like a well built machine, however we had one of these installed, used it ONCE & got an error message that stated it had a leak...well there was no leak. I received very little support from a Samsung rep over the phone, who had the attitude of someone who couldn't be bothered! She said someone from their repair dept. would contact me an a few days to set up an appt. not acceptable! Best Buy, on the other hand, sent someone out in 2 days. Repair man diagnosed it as a faulty computer board & to just return the unit & get another one...we went with a Bosch & have had no issues. Best Buy was great to deal with & handled the situation properly!

I haven't found one thing wrong with this dishwasher other than the option to add a light. Other than that it's a 5 star all the way.

I love the dishwasher but for somereason the first one lost power and the latch didn't work. Lucky it happend in the 30 days of purchase and we ordered the same one again. We always seem to get the faulty things no mater where we shop. Guess it's just bad luck.

I bought this diswasher aginst the advise of all my friends who knew the reputation of Samsung. I had used this for only five time when it started acting up & finally stopped with some error code. I called samsung for repair who were okay to refer to some repir company.It is ten days nothing has happened no repair or clue. I call all concern every day & they come up with new story & sorry. I an fed up hand washing pots & dishes. I cannot comment some good as this dish washer did not do any thing good for me. I dont say stuff does not break but customer & back up service should be efficient to take care of it. I am very disappointed from the attitude of SAMSUNG. Company should learn how to compete in market like USA. Customer do not want to learn stories about non availability of parts & craftman. Sorry & very Sorry. Only positive thing if it is ever fixed is that it is good looking.

We bought this DW 6 months ago and have called for service three times already. It was expensive and has never worked right. The repair people have no answers. The dishes do not dry, the soap door opens sometimes, and now it is not filling with water. The racks break easily or fall out. We bought 4 Samsung appliances and 2 of them sucked. (Fridge & DW). I wish Best Buy would let us get something different.

I really wanted to like this dishwasher. CR gave it a nice review and the sale price was great. It is great when it works but it broke down twice during the one year warranty period and now it has broken down a third time. We found Samsung's repair process to be lacking (3 business days just to get a call to set up an appointment). So paying to use Samsung is a non starter. The issue is few independent repair people in the area work on Samsung dishwashers. If I had to do it over again, it would have gone with a more traditional brand.

Dishwasher was delivered and installed without problem. Works as described and looks very nice. Cleans very well and is reasonably quiet. Would recommend.

My wife and I purchased this dishwasher on 10/01/11 and on 01/09/12 is stopped working. Service technician said the pump motor was seized. 10 days for new one and then the service guy found a broken clip. It took Samsung almost 1 month to resolve the issue and give a store credit. This time bought a Kitchenaid.

I was very disappointed in the dishwasher. The salesman raved about how well it cleaned, stating that there was no need to soak or rince the dishes before putting them it. The dishwasher does a horrible job at getting the dishes clean. I spend a lot of time inspecting the dishes to make sure they got clean and have a lot of items that have to be rewashed. It does a decent job if the dishes are prewashed before hand. I would return it if I could.

A bit disappointed because it does a poor job of drying dishes.

4 months after purchase returned to Samsung. You get instore credit. Don't buy Samsung.
