This unit was a very good buy at the price. It replaced a fridge we had been struggling with for a few months and finally just junked it. First the good: The design on this thing looks really good. The sides are in a nice complimentary grey. Why other manufacturers insist on black sides is a mystery as I find the contrast a little too much in a stainless steel dominated kitchen. The unit cools well, and space efficiency seems much better than the unit it's replacing. It's quiet except for the expected racket when ice is being dropped and the water replaced. The LEDs are efficient lighting and give an interesting bluish-white effect. Now the improvements. Like everyone else is saying, the ice maker could use a bit of redesign. I don't know if they were going for space efficiency, but the shallow area for ice and water leads to ice on the floor. You have to give a little thought to how you hold the glass, when to let go of the switch, and when to move the glass (3-4 seconds later). You still will get ice on the floor sometimes. There is no backlighting for the face of the ice/water display. There are LED indicators, but you can't see what they're describing. In the dark, if you don't have all of the soft buttons memorized, you have no chance of operating the ice/water dispenser. This was something that even our old clunker did better. The LED lighting in the lower portion of the freezer is inadequate. They should have put an additional set of LEDs near the bottom to give better visibility at the bottom. This sounds like a lot of complaints, but I wanted to give a little detail for other considering the unit. In general, we're glad we bought it. It looks and cools great. At the price we paid, we consider it a very good buy.

This refrigerator is great from its sleek style, led lights inside, and awesome space. The only thing I don't like about the fridge is when you have to get ice because you have to push the plastic lever all the way back. My concern is that over time the lever will break and I didn't opt to go with the extended warranty. Other than that this is a great buy!

I am very happy with my purchase. Very spacious and quiet. took 24 hours for ice to form. Love the LED lights and the built in wine rack. Cube and crushed ice very nice. Use a large cup to get cube ice, fast release of ice. Did not fine any problems with the water and ice dispenser, not hard to push at all. Just a precaution beware using thin wine classes.

Coming from a traditional type refrigerator (freezer on top, refri on bottom) I found that this refrigerator doesn't have much room for holding food and it is not very flexible in that you don't have the possiblity of moving shelves ~ mine only has one extra "peg" that can be used to move one shelf about an inch but then it makes the next shelf very short. I am used to being able to place my liter-sized soda bottles on the refrigerator shelf but am finding that with this refrigerator, I have to place my soda bottles on their side because the shelves are too close together. Ice maker makes great cubes and crushed ice and it transitions well between the water option and the type of ice cube, but it takes quite a while to make the ice. The crisper drawers work very nicely in that fresh vegetables seem to last longer. I was not very happy with having to pay a plumber an additional $361 in order to hook up my icemaker since my water shut off valve was under my sink instead of in the wall behind the refrigerator so Best Buy would not install it for me. Had I been told that bit of information at the time I purchased the unit, I could have made provisions to have the plumber come on a weekday instead of a Sunday, but since my refrigerator had died, I did not have much choice once the unit was delivered and I was informed that it would not be installed due to the location of my water shut off valve. I do like the deep shelves in the door as I am able to put my bottles of salad dressing and various condiments in them that don't fit on the shelves due to their height. I found the unit to be very quiet, but the stainless steel is very difficult to keep clean from fingerprints and water spots from when the crushed ice flies out and misses the glass. I love the freezer as I am able to see everything that is in it without having to move food around and it is very roomy.

I'm not happy at all with this unit. The ice maker sucks. It doesn't make very much ice to begin with and when you try to dispense any ice it hardly works.

I have had this fridge for a few months before reviewing The first thing I did was set the temps based on what the delivery guys said. 34 fridge and. - 10 freezer. Sounds cold. But I still had a $25 improvement in my electric bill I'm the first month. This is compared to my 1996 fridge. Since meat took forever to thaw, I changed -10 to - 4 and all is good. This fridge throws ice on the floor just like every other fridge of this type. But only a cube here and there So don't let that discourage you. It has metal ice crushers for crushed ice. Way better than plastic. It does make a bunch of strange sounds when refilling the ice maker. And you do hear the ice drop. The lights inside are great. Even when it's full of food you can see your way around. Way better than my 1 light bulb 1996 fridge. Ice maker in the door is a cool feature. I was skeptical at first, but it keeps up with my wife's iced tea brewing demands Overall this is a very good fridge

We got this fridge to replace our previous one. We looked at many models at Best Buy and other stores. This was by far our favorite. The inside is much nicer than many other models in a similar price range. The in-the-door ice maker leaves more storage space in the freezer. I love the freezer doors rather than cheap looking baskets. The LED lighting is great. Plenty of light, but not harsh. The storage bins in the fridge side are large and adjust easily. Although this fridge is technically a bit smaller than our old one, it seems larger because of the smart use of space. The fridge is very quiet. Although you can hear the ice drop, it's not loud or disruptive. The ice and water dispenser are great. Although some mentioned it was hard to operate, I have not found that to be true. My children, friends, and family have never had any difficulty with it. My only CON is that it shows fingerprints easily, although that is true with most stainless steel. It was a compromise I was willing to make. All in all, I am very satisfied with my purchase.

First of all, I don't understand others reviews of this refridgerator that are negative. They sound like they are refridgerator experts and just have a superior knowledge of fridges. This fridge rocks. It looks amazing, it has many great features, and when on sale, you can't beat the price! I've had this fridge for about a month and it is awesome. The tag says it was manufactured in February of 2012. So, it is possible that in between some of the original negativity they have fixed issues. The letters on the fridge are now flush with the fridge, so there is no possible way a letter can come off. The complaints about the frost or condensation probably didn't read the instructions. You can run it in power save mode (which is another awesome feature) which can lead to condensation build up when the door is open or not, which they recommend if it causes issues in that regard. The ice maker so far for me has worked great! It make as much noise as I would expect ice falling in to a cup to make... some cups are louder than others. The water (which is cold I might add) goes in to the cup too...easily. Not as hard as some of the previous fridge experts claim. I have yet to fill up the fridge as it is so spacious I'm not sure we'd ever need enough food to fill it up. I can imagine that if you tried to put enough food in there to fill it, I think the idea that it would get dark in there is valid..however, thats how any fridge would be if you filled it. Well, maybe not if you upped your budget another $500 to get a fridge with a better light. By the way, the LED lights are awesome and have impressed many family members so far. Oh, the fridge is dang near silent. The most noise it makes other than when it drops its ice is a very faint hum, which is about 10 times quieter than any other fridge I've ever heard. The bluedisplay and the sleek stainless steel just transforms our kitchen. Overall this fridge is awesome, spacious, looks amazing, keeps food at the exact temp we want it, makes enough ice for a normal amount of people. It is just awesome, and for the price on sale (yes, wait for it to go on sale at least under $1200, or you're spending too much!), you can't beat it!!!

The bad: After having the fridge for only a week. The water line made an annoyingly high pitched sound every time the ice maker ran (at least once an hour). Had the fridge swapped out for a new one. The noise is fixed but the ice maker is slow to produce ice and we run out of ice all the time. I also noticed that many of the seams have aluminum foil appearing from them and insulation foam coming out of the door. Be when removing the protective plastic...all of which is tucked under the door seams and is hard to get off. The good: The led lights provide adequate light and since they are smaller than conventional incandescent bulbs there is more room available for food. I find most large bottles fit in the door and the shelves provide enough room for everything else. The controls are easy to use and set. The value was great and the appearance is sleek and modern.
