We looked at every refrigerator in the store and chose this Samsung. We love the ice maker on the door, water maker with filter, especially love all the room for large bottle storage on the door-milk etc. does stay cold-have lots of space in this refrigerator, wine rack which can also hold other things. Enjoy the clear storage drawers and all the room in the freezer. I would definately recomment this refrigerator to a friend or relative!

This is a very nice unit and the quality seems good. I love the interior lighting and after my power went out for 2 days I didn't open it in fear of letting out the cold. I finally opened it and was pleasantly surprised to find the food was not ruined and temperature had remained acceptable. my only gripe is the width deminsions stated is about 3 inches less than needed against a wall for the doors to open, due to the hinges swing out. I had to do some cabinet moving, etc. to get it to fit. Ice maker in the door is cool and gives you more freezer space, however not much capacity and if you have company better get some extra ice to have.

We have had our new Samsung refrigerator about one month and we couldn't be happier. The deciding feature for us was a good ice maker. This machine has it. We love having the ice maker in the door where we can easily see how much ice we have, we like the amount of ice that is made, the quickness of the ice making and the delivery of the ice. Next feature was the ice and water dispenser. We were used to having an ice and water separate dispenser but the new ones have only one. The single dispenser works great. Other features we like include the internal lighting, the amount of shelving and drawers and the see-through shelves and doors. The external look and finish are great also. The only thing we are not settled on is the fact that the control panel does not totally cover, from side to side, the cavity that it is installed in. We are concerned about cleaning in the crevices. While this is a minor issue, that really has yet to surface, we would still recommend fixing that next time unless there is a really good reason for the way it is designed.

Just received appliance today and from all appearances at this time, all is good. Wanted to warn buyers on installation. The delivery company refused to hook up my brand new copper water line that was immediately behind the refrigerator because the shut off value was in the basement, said they could only hook up water line if the shut off valve was immediatly behind the appliance. They did not remove any packing material on inside and outside of the appliance. Two appliance were delivered and they also would not hook up dryer vent as it as on an interior wall, their rules only allow them to hook up the dryer vent when it is on an outside wall as the vent run may be dirty and a fire hazard. A 62 yr old female had to do all this install herself, not appreciated after spending thousands of dollars.

Owned this refrigerator for 2 months and am very satisfied with it. Freezer is very roomy for a side by side and ice/water service works well. Very quiet running product. LED lights inside are good feature. I highly recommend it.

LED lights make me feel like I have R2D2 in the kitchen. If I could afford it, I'd just stare at the inside and marvel at it's beauty. Very functional freezer section. Fridge side is great, but only 2 door compartments can fit a 2-liter bottle. Water light has a habit of easily coming on via switch bump. Other than those two, let the good times roll!

Love the Samsung 25.5 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Thru-the-Door Ice and Water - Stainless-Steel - not only does it accent my kitchen it is also energy efficient. Lots of storage space - love the drawers in the freezer.

We bought this new at the Champaign store. About 2 weeks after using it the ice maker started to put out crushed ice on the cube setting. Then froze up all together. Motor was whining but not turning. The ice bin built into the door would not come off even though it was correctly put into place. The repair guy came out for 10 minutes and asked if the A/C was on, which at that time it was not. He said these refrigerators need to have the A/C ON! Why would I want a fridge that has to have the A/C on? He said to unplug it from 2-14 days. ( Which ticked me off) That would have been VERY inconvenient, but we left for vacation for 13 days a few days later so we unplugged it, left the doors open, and the house A/C was off. We came home, started it back up and nothing changed. After several cancellations by our techs, we finally got a guy today after 3 months who had to break the ice bin off the door. He also asked about the A/C and stated that the fridge needs it to be on. He also stated that it is better if the ice maker is IN the freezer and not on the door. ( I pretty much figured out that one on my own.) There was a lot of frost inside under where the tub was. We have many other Samsung products and would not hesitate to get more. I would however, NOT RECOMMEND THIS STYLE ICE MAKER to any one. My friend has one built into the top of the freezer and said he has never had any problems.

I had a standard top freezer refrigerator before purchasing this side-by-side. It seems like I have a litte less refrigerator space and a little more freezer space now. I think I would feel like I had more refrigerator space if the shelves had more adjustment options. To fit my tall items I had to remove a shelf. It bothers me enough that I'm considering returning it. I really don't want to go through the hassle! I wish I would've paid more attention to this before I purchased it.

My appliance is fairly new. I have not had any issues at this time, but have read other reviews on line. Seems most buyers of this product are not satisfied with make and model, which worries me. My other refrigerator lasted 12 years and still going. The only problem was the ice maker went out. I decided to purchase a new refrig to match the other appliances in my kitchen. I hope I didn't make a mistake by purchasing this particular make and model of refrigerator. We shall see.

It has a lot of features, a beautiful display, led lighting. The icemaker froze up on ours after less than 30 days. Geeksquad came and checked it out, talked to Samsung who recommended replacing the freezer door. Searching the Internet showed a lot of horror stories for Samsung refrigerators with similar model numbers. Maybe I just got a bad one or maybe not, but I'm not going to take a chance so back it goes. Pity though, it's a beautiful refrigerator.

Nice looking refrigerator.my wife loves it but i am not as impressed.it does look nice but the led lighting inside looks very bright and clean at store but gets dark when only a few groceries are inside.it sounds like an old perkolator coffe pot when it runs.as stated by other reviews ice and water dispenser need work as they always make a mess.

It had been 21 years since we last purchased a refrigerator. After months of comparing dozens of refrigerators (specifications, customer reviews and prices), we are happy we chose this Samsung refrigerator. The stainless steel refrigerator immediately updated our kitchen. The thru the door ice and filtered water dispensers are so convenient; as is, the external digital control panel. Easy to clean with special cloth and stainless steel spray. The Best Buy appliance saleslady, Tiffany, was extremely knowledgeable on all refrigerator brands. She was helpful and patient while we made our final decision.

It is a sharp appliance! It runs so quietly! The yearly electricity usage is amazing (can't wait to see the change)! Very pleased!

Purchased this about 2 years ago based upon the supposedly good reviews and reliably. So far I guess I'm lucky that I'm a bit of a handy man because it sure saved a bit of $$$. The first thing to go was the ice maker. Turns out the assembly needs to be replaced when the motor goes. With only 2 people in the house and me never using ice, I figured the ice maker would last a while - lasted just over 1 year - just out of warranty. Since we are (UN)fortunate enough to live in the south with it's wonderful plethora of humidity, I was astounded at the frequency that cleaning out the ice shoot demanded. It plugs up with frost from the ambient surroundings. Remove the ice bin, place the ice in a container, and knock all the frost / ice from the mouth of the shoot and the surrounding parts. Then I take a butter knife and very carefully chisel the ice from the shoot itself. Need to do this about once a week in the summer and every other week in the winter. A year later - yesterday - the blower motor on the refrigerator side decided to give up the ghost. When I checked out availability of the motor, I was told they usually only last about 2 years or so. That's for both motors - refrigerator and freezer side. It cools VERY well if a bit noisy. Love the door shelves. But hey, the LED lights on the interior (my wife's deciding choice) look VERY pretty. Based on this, I would NOT recommend this refrigerator to anyone. But please take this (and all reviews) with a grain of salt. They are based only on individual results. Happy Shopping!!!

This refrigerator has met our expectations. It is extremely quiet and very sleek looking. The one draw back I have noticed is that the door handle cannot seem to be tightened enough and seems to be loose.

I absolutely love this frig! It has all the space I need and more. I needed more space with a family of five, which includes three teenage boys. This is perfect. The shelves are wide enough to put a large pizza box on. I also go through a lot of milk. At one time, I even had 10 gallons in there (6 on top shelf and 4 in door), and still had lots of space for all the other groceries and leftovers. Just thrilled with it!

I must admit we have only had this unit for 4 days, but we are returning it due to how noisy it is. I had thought that our 15 year old Whirlpool was getting noisy before we replaced it with this unit. Although I like most of the features one that I use a lot is missing. My previous whirlpool chilled the water coming out the door and the Samsung does not. I could live with filtered but warm water, but I cannot take the noise.

Don't know if it's true stainless steel or not! I can attach those fridge magnets anywhere...the doors, the sides, and etc. Just have it for 5 days, so can't say about reliability. So far so good, however. Many outstanding features like twin cooling, wine rack, and bright LED lights.

One issue with this refrigerator is that if you use the crushed ice feature it jams. Ice gets packed up and you have to manually remove it. Ice cubes are fine but our experience is to not use the crushed ice feature.
