Ice cannister difficult to remove; ice release through the door sporadic and sprays out (needs a wide mouth glass)

Our fridge went out and we needed to act fast to get a new one. I like the design of the Samsung - it fits all of our needs. The filtered water is excellent and the ice is great. The lighting inside is nice. Would like it to be the thinner counter depth but the next model with that was about $800 more.This is really an awesome refridgerator!

I purchased this refrigerator during the pre-Black Friday sale and got it for a steal of a deal...about $600 under its normal retail price. I think it's a solid fridge for the retail price but a no brainer at the price I got it for. There are enough deals at BB to wait for a good sale to snatch it up.

Ice maker AND front pannel didn't work. Also main board in the refrig was bad and kept the fan blowing 24/7. Froze all the food in refrig and could not stop it. Received a new one (same model) front plane and ice maker did not work. It took Geek Squad weeks to come out (each of 3 times) and never fixed. Called Samsung direct and waiting another 2 weeks. Can you believe this model was a consumer's rated best buy! 2.5 months and still not resolution

I really like this refridgerator except for the ice and water dispenser. the spout doesn't seem to be positioned well. can't fill tall water bottles or crushed ice in a measuring cup.

I purchased this fridge to replace one that came with the house I bought. The old fridge did not have enough space and I wanted one with an ice maker and water dispenser. At first I loved this fridge, then 6 months in I had a problem with it not cooling. I lost all my food and had to wait for 6 weeks to get my replacement check in the mail. The fan motor in this model would disconnect and not cool. I have had the same problem 4 times with this fridge. I have lost countless $$ in food cost repairs not to mention the amount of work I had to take off to be there for repair people. Not to mention how loud it runs, which I guess was a blessing after all because I knew exactly when the fan stopped running. I did my reseach before buying and the sales guy even recommended this brand to me. Needless to say I would not recommend this to anyone.

I made a huge mistake by purchasing this fridge two years ago. It had great reviews online, so I thought that I will buy this brand for the first time. The ice maker stopped working after about a year, and now about two years down the line, the fridge is not cooling, and the freezer is still working. The icemaker is still not working. When we called customer service, they say that our warranty doesnot cover these repairs. We had a GE fridge before and it worked for over 10 years without any problems or expense. I am never ever buying a Samsung product again. And if you are thinking about it then please think a thousand times before you buy. They may be good at other products but not at home appliances.

I ve had appliance for 2 months, works good so far but a little noisey

Two bonuses about shopping at Best Buy for my new refrigerator... 1) The service was outstanding! I didn't have time to prepare for this purchase, but the sales rep spent quite a bit of time explaining the different models. She even called several weeks later to make sure I was happy with my purchase. 2) I bought a terrific machine at an even better price.

Ice maker works when it chooses to work. When I want crushed ice, I typically get cubed, and when I want cubed, I'll get crushed. However, the ice chute is too often frozen shut. Further, the dispensing arm can not turn because its often ice encrusted as well. I have to disconnect the ice maker from inside the freezer door and place it in in my sink to make it operable. Contacting Samsung about this has yielded nothing but frustration. Samsung has offered no help, no service, and no solutions. Further, Samsung ignores warranty obligations as written in their products service manuals. Buyer beware.

Bought to replace older frig. Could not believe how quiet this is. Only hade it for a week but very impressed so far.

I did alot of research prior to purchasing. The important features were quietness and organized layout. This fridge is both of those. I've never owned any other Samsung products but have just become a fan.

This fridge is NOISY. I had another maker's for 10 years with no issues other than maintenance. When the manual says certain noises are normal ---you have no idea. I bought Samsung on the recommedation of Sales personnel - but this model is weak for the money and Samsung name. It looks great though.

We've had it for a month, quiet as a mouse, keeps things cold and looks great, what more can you ask for for $1150?

it has lots more room than my old one. I love the warning bell when door is open too long. clean up on stainless steel doors is easy.

I bought this fridge because it was a very good deal for it and it was also very nice. The only problem I have is that this fridge works very noisy, my first one had a manufacture defect so I exchanged it for another one and still works noisy, also the door on this one was not installed properly so I returned it anyway.

I am very happy with our new frig, would recommend to anyone considering it, we have bought many appliances from Best Buy over the years and it was a smooth transaction this time as well. I like the glass shelves -easy to clean.

After one year, the fan motor died. Best Buy said they don't repair/service. Called Samsung who scheduled me with an "authorized" repair shop. (It was a video store. The Samsung agent said, "Of course it is an authorized repair center or else it wouldn't have populated my screen.") The repair shop called to say they were ordering a part (without seeing the refrigerator), but would have to cancel the appointment until the part arrived - up to two weeks. Another company came out, looked at the problem, but couldn't find the replacement part - even online. I bought a Whirlpool and let them haul this one away. Horrible experience all the way around. You can't make this stuff up!

Great price features love it Good size for a family of 3 just hard to keep the stainless steal clean !!
