First, the "Smart Part" of this fridge. I didn't have HUGE expectations for the 'Family Hub' part of this fridge. Samsung has let me down so many times with these internet of things integrations. So with that in mind, I only wanted the camera I can see in the fridge from the grocery store and some ability to touch it and control my SmartThings home controls for lights and the such. SmartThings app on the fridge is more limited than expected. It isn't able to be re-arranged in anyway (its all alphabetical) and it doesn't recognize lighting groups that you make in the phone app. So to get the most of out controlling light groups you'll need to create virtual switches/dimmers or use Scenes. As a plus, the speaker on the fridge is actually quite high quality, and so is the screen. So its great for pictures and listening to music. Sadly if you're a cord cutter you don't get much in the way of watching video on this thing. A youtube TV, sling, netflix, or any other app would be a really welcome addition as the web browser is pretty ancient feeling and not a way you'll want to utilize those services. The fridge part: So far its been working great. Got nice and cold quickly, has quality surfaces and it looks and feels great inside and out. I LOVE the fact that doors are flat are don't have handles. Makes opening the fridge that is nearly flush with the left wall a much nicer experience. The door makes contact with the baseboard before hitting the wall, so marks on the wall and the fridge aren't noticeable if there at all! The ice maker is effective and easy to access. Much better than our last Samsung french door with its ice maker. I also love how tall the opening is for the ice/water dispenser because it makes filling up pitchers and large YETI-like steel cups a much better experience. This dispenser is also where I can't believe there is a missing feature--THERE ISN'T A LIGHT UNDER THE DISPENSER. Shocking. Not a deal breaker, just the one wart in an otherwise perfect fridge.

We absolutely love our Samsung Side-by-Side Smart Refrigerator with the Family Hub! The 21.5" touch screen is a game-changer—it keeps our family organized with calendars, grocery lists, and even music or videos while cooking. But the real stars? Our kids! They can’t get enough of the Family Hub screen and love browsing family photos, checking the weather, or just leaving little digital notes for us. It’s surprisingly fun and very family-friendly. The filtered cold water and ice dispenser are super convenient—especially in the summer. Our kids use it constantly, and it’s nice knowing they’re drinking clean, cold water without having to open the fridge. Storage is spacious, the layout makes everything easy to find, and the stainless steel design looks beautiful and resists fingerprints. It really adds a smart and stylish touch to our kitchen. Highly recommend this refrigerator to any family looking to make their kitchen more connected and kid-friendly!

Have had it about a month and love love it. Had a side by side years ago and remember loving the 'new' French Door type then--my French Door was technically larger, (an LG that failed in only 3 years - we didn't buy the extended warranty.) But THIS side by side seems to have a better use of space. It lets me see more things in the freezer than my french door's big deep hole of a freezer. I did buy some clear plastic boxes I can pull out with say, condiments, and a couple of little drawers (for garlics, and string cheese, boiled eggs etc.) that helps me make better use of this fridge as it is rather monotonous in having only 2 bottom drawers (that I use for veggies/fruits and cheeses) and shelves that are mostly the same dimension. I was worried about not being able to adjust the shelves or door bins, but alas, the door bins on the bottom fit 2 1 gallon milks (and some smaller items) just fine, AND they are tall enough to put a wine bottle in too. So no complaints there. THEN the "family hub" is really amazing and I do use it already a lot. Love the time and weather showing up on it and that it "knows" when you pass by to light up. We use the calendar, and the Alexa which I don't normally like to have in my house. The "Alexa - add milk to my grocery list" is awesome so I never write it any more and my list is always accessible when I am at the store. The camera to look inside isn't all that useful though. It only shows you one or two shelves, so if you keep the things you might want to visualize on those 2 shelves, great, but it's more of a gimmick I think. We have had one or two instances of the screen doing strange things as if somebody was pushing buttons (and they weren't) so the jury is still out on the stability of the computer, but I am keeping my fingers crossed it is minor and nothing goes wrong for this during the period we THIS TIME bought the extended warranty, as I do love it a lot! P.S. the side by side was one of the lesser expensive items that had the Family Hub and in the larger size by the way too!

I love this fridge. It’s spacious and the smart features on the tablet are great. My kids love to draw on the tablet and my wife loves to play music while she’s cooking. The ice maker is great and the fridge cools at be even temperature. I would give the fridge 10/10. I love all the Samsung appliances and this refrigerator lives up to my expectations.

I love it!!! Been wanting one for awhile now!!! We have samsung phones so it syncs to your phone My wife loves that you can play music from the fridge Good sounding speakers too!!! Good sound quality!!! Talking bout get ice cold!!!! I COLD!!!! Everything with that All Around Cooling I would definitely recommend this fridge to anybody Oh and you can watch live TV on it!!!!

All in one. Absolutely in love with everything. Great quality and suits all our needs. Plenty of space,great organization and a screen is a plus. Easy to navigate and love all the features.

This fridge has a beautiful sleek look to it. It has plenty of storage space. I have been enjoying all the cool features such as viewing the contents of the fridge from the screen display and listening to Pandora music. Everything works as it should. I would have rated this fridge five stars but I removed one for the lack of lighting in the water/ice dispenser. My previous Samsung fridge had this feature and it was great to be able to get some water at night without having to turn on bright lights. They should have included this feature. All in all great fridge!

We love our new smart refrigerator! While sleek and elegant, it is technologically functional and fun. We love the ability to see the contents of the refrigerator fr.om your phone! The whiteboard and list features are super cool too.

Cool fridge features, we loved having the extra screen in our kitchen. Reliability is yet to be determined. Touch screen/software can be laggy at times, no light on the water dispenser is a bummer. Overall, happy with the purchase and having owned it for a year (we moved).

Excellent Fridge! Love the tablet on the fridge. The speaker is excellent! It’s also very roomy. The shelves are not adjustable… which is a drag. Not sure why Best Buy wants 50 characters minimum.

Very well designed and works perfect, has enough space and easy to clean.

Overall very spacious fridge. My only complaint is the water dispenser which is poorly designed and hard to activate without spilling water or ice all over the place. It is also very boxy and quite deep so make sure you sufficient depth for this fridge. Also wish it was finprint proff as some newer fridges are.
