Best Buy delivered and installed the refrigerator and gave me a few hints on keeping the finish bright and shiny. Our previous two refrigerators had the ice maker go out shortly after the warranty expired. This ice maker has worked flawlessly since day one.

Also the water and ice buttons aren't working. 3 year old fridge. Now I have to go buy the part. Samsung covers for the part but they charge you for someone going to your house and installing the part. 300 dollar repair on a 3 year old fridge, Samsung is awful!

Just past 5 years, it stopped cooling and couldn't be fixed. Experienced refrigerator repair technician pointed out that the cooling system has a defective design with extremely thin tubes that fail. Told me the error codes are imprecise and that repair is not feasible. He recommended that customers not buy Samsung refrigerators. I contacted Samsung and was initially told I'd get a coupon to buy a refrigerator for half-price within a few days. They then reneged on this. Months later, after many unpleasant calls and emails, they sent a coupon. I had already replaced the refrigerator with an LG.
