Good monitor for most applications

As good as a glossy screen

In the store I liked the richness of the colors displayed with the glossy screen, but I was concerned about the reflections the gloss creates. In the end I bought this one and once it was at home and not compared with the other screen side by side, the colors look just great on this Samsung.

Samsung 27 LED HD monitor

I really didn't think I wanted or needed a monitor this large, but it was the best value and turns out I love it. I never realized there was a non glare choice but it is so much easier on the eyes. Just plugged it in to my Mac mini and was good to go. Highly recommend.
