First time buying a monitor it was easy and simple to get set up and not that expensive for the quality it gives

This is hands down the best affordable monitor on the market. It gets me excited knowing that I can play and turn my screen in any direction!

Using it for 4 months now, perfect for me. The price is an absolute steal for what you get. Pros: GSync, 180 HZ (Best at 120 / 144), Great response time, great clarity. Plenty of settings to configure. Cons: Not as bright as an LG, but not dim by any means.

This Monitor was one of my best purchases of all of my life. It’s 4k HDR QHD 144 hz. Also it’s Samsung.

I will be sticking with samsaung from now on the only down side i will say is its says its 180hz but in reality its 144 which i dont really have a problem with because im on console anyway other then that watching movies and gaming on here is incredible especially when you put the right settings on

Great monitor. 180 hz gets the job done and hdr400 not hdr10. Pixels pop quickly and colorful blacks and whites on screen.

Great budget monitor made even better when on sale.

Very nice monitor I really bought it for my son so he can play Fortnite when he comes over and I also use it for my surveillance cameras

Good. Probably a little bit rectangular if you look at it from the right angle. It works. I bought an open box model it didnt come with the power adapter.

Without a proper monitor, a computer cannot shine. I enjoyed this monitor so much, I immediately purchased a second monitor to complete a duel screen set-up. Very pleased with my purchase.

Great display for gaming, so bright that it lights up the whole room. Thankfully it has an “eye saver” feature to minimize strain.

Disappointed that the monitor is advertised as 180Hz (three different locations in the BB ad), but the box from Samsung clearly states 165Hz. I wonder what else they lied about in their advertisement of this monitor?

I am really liking this monitor. The Odessey G50D 27". Purchased this as my first gaming monitor to mate with a new AMD PC with HDR and FreeSync capabilities. Assembly was pretty easy using the instructions. The stand is really substantial and has plenty of heft to keep it where I want it. The range of adjustment is impressive and easy to do. The flat base, while a bit large, makes it easy to put things under the monitor. I do like that the back of the monitor is just black and not flashy or too ornate, as many gaming monitors are. I thought the power/stand-by LED was not working. Looking really close I see it does work, it is just really small and dim. The monitor buttons to navigate the menu are pretty simple to use after a bit of practice. Hooked up the included DP cable. I set the monitor FreeSync on and my Win11 PC AMD software acknowledged, showed all of the possible refresh rates available. Started an older game that ran steady at 180 fps to great result. HDR stuff looks OK, especially after using the Windows HDR Calibration tool. As I don't game as much as I just use the PC I am pleased with this display for browsing. Text is crisp, colors look great. I'm still trying things out but I haven't run into any issues. This is a keeper.

this monitor performs really well for what you pay for it. Great picture quality, high refresh rate, and HDR (albeit hdr400) provide for a very enjoyable gaming and watching experience. Definitely a top budget monitor.

I picked this up yesterday and had a full night of gaming on it. I mostly play Apex Legends and I play on Xbox series S but also some Nintendo Switch games (Zelda, Mario, etc. etc.) I had been playing a on 32 inch Samsung TV that I got back in 2016 or 2017 and the difference is night and day. The refresh rate and resolution are amazing. I've been playing Apex for a few years now but getting this monitor makes me feel like I'm playing a brand new game. No joke I feel like I'm playing better on this monitor. Price is a bit high considering there are probably similar options that cost less but I have been using Samsung for decades and the quality is always high and they last forever. Treat yourself! Console players: Remember to set your console resolution to 1440 and your refresh rate to 120 hz 1080p on 32 inch :/ 1440 on 27 inch :D Comparison image has the Odyssey G5OD display on the left and the old Samsung TV on the right. I hadn't even dialed in the color, brightness, contrast or set the console res to 1440 on the new one yet and there is a NOTICEABLE difference.

Upgraded from an MSI curved 27 inch 1080 p, abd ker me tell you night abd day difference the colors are bright an amazing the fps is just the perfect amount for a noticeable pleasure on the eyes, use is a dark and bright environment and it rocks, and yes the 27inch flat ips screen is worth the money in 2025, wanted the 32 but glad they were sold out.uch gratitude to bestbuy and the kind employee the reassured me on my purchase

I won't sit here and pretend to be a monitor expert. I'm sure you can find lots of thorough reviews deep diving into the specs and offerings and how they compare to other competing offerings. For what it's worth, though, my experience with this monitor has been excellent so far. I have two monitors in my setup so I bought 2 of these to finally have a matching set and the picture quality is great on both. Plus, the stand the monitor comes with has a lot of adjustability options for height and angle. One piece of advice I will pass on to anyone who is like me and this is their first monitor with a resolution above HD: do not pair a 2K monitor with a regular HD monitor in the same setup. I tried and it was extremely jarring to look between the two. So if you have two HD monitors in your setup and you're looking to upgrade one of them to this 2K monitor, I recommend upgrading them both at the same time to maintain the same resolution between displays.
