Recently upgraded from a 75hz 1080p display and the difference has been wild. Some reviews state the contrast is poor on the display but i would say its quite good (obviously not OLED levels but for an IPS still good) and the vibrancy of colors are great as well. I really only had two gripes about the display, one out of the box the colors are very very very blue and took some time to neutralize them (when adjusted with the settings both on the display and windows along with an ICC profile it looks great but colors should be accurate from the jump) and the second is that there is some, though very minor, ghosting -- its not the worst and is mostly noticeable in high contrast scenarios (white text scrolling through a black background) but in common use cases its very subtle; if your sensitive to that I'd maybe look into other monitors with higher response times. All in all it is a very good monitor with good viewing angles, a bit better than average glow when displaying all black, and punchy colors.

In my opinion it’s the best 1440p monitor on the market. Its refresh rate is fate and the color is amazing. I play a lot of fps and I don’t have any screen tearing or anything and the hdr is amazing

The first one I got came with a dead pixel, so I returned it and got another, and it works perfectly. Good color and refresh rate, with little ghosting. Monitor can be angled in almost any direction.

Like always samsung has top of the line product. The image is great, no speaker, great for gaming and the only issue I have is the brightness. If you have a bright room I would reconsidered. If your room stays in the dark side then it would be perfect.

Great monitor. Purchased this to replace my older samsung monitor that finally broke. Clear picture. Works great with my legion desktop w/ a rtx 5070

Nice size monitor with easy set up out of the box. Took me a sec to figure out the power button. Hardly had to adjust any settings. Very nice picture quality and smooth gaming.

I’ve been using the Samsung Odyssey G5 for a while now, and overall it’s a solid gaming monitor for the price. The 27-inch flat screen looks super clean, and the 1440p resolution with a 165Hz refresh rate makes games look really sharp and smooth. The colors are decent, and the contrast is nice thanks to the VA panel, so darker scenes look pretty good. It handles most games really well, though there can be a bit of motion blur in really fast games. The stand is basic — it only tilts and doesn’t move up or down — and the build quality feels a bit light, but it’s fine once it’s on your desk. The HDR isn’t anything crazy since it doesn’t get that bright, but it still adds a little more life to the picture. Overall, the G5 is a great pick if you want a flat 1440p monitor with high refresh rates without spending a lot. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely worth it for the price.

The screen is vibrant and beautiful. I have it mounted to a 4-monitor mount and setup was super easy. I just used my standard mount's software and plugged it in. The screen is responsive, the perfect size for my needs, and has a lot of customization for those who may need it. My primary use is photoshop. It works well with my tablet.

I would've loved this monitor, the colors are amazing especially the blacks. using ufo test everything was smooth, I just had one issue with this. The edges and corner had smudging effect, and I couldn't fix it with any settings. it would make my minimap distorted etc. If it wasn't for that I would've kept this.

This is one of the best monitors I've had. The picture is clear and seamless, no pixels. Has a great refresh rate for fps. Also stylish and nifty.

Wasn't expecting much in jump of a quality, but I wanted to try a higher resolution after my older 1080p monitor took some damage. It's honestly a bit nice, and the larger size compliments the increase in resolution, which makes watching media a whole lot nicer from a distance. As for gaming, it's fine as usual. QHD isn't as hard on your GPU as 4K is. I wouldn't expect a new world of a difference I think for it's value and build it's a pretty good quality for the price.

Easy setup up and true to life color and hues. No delays in photo editing and video editing. Online steaming services are crisp and better than a large screen TV.

Great monitor! I love how bright it is and the 144hz is plenty for my gaming needs. Samsung definitely makes a quality product.

Excellent picture quality for both normal use and gaming. Using with a Radeon RX 7900 XT video card with good performance. Got it on sale for a great price.

Very excellent monitor. Got this on Black Friday deal. G-Sync for under $200 is almost unheard off. Great screen quality. Great refresh rate and 1ms - great buy.
