This fridge is Big, foldable level on top makes it easy to fit tall bottles. It's wide enough to fit a big party cake and more. the area for cold meats and drinks it's very convenient and independent temperature controlled makes it even better. Freezer is huge, we are a family of 3 and we are unable to fill it out completely. Very convenient Wifi” listening to Pandora music or checking out the weather or just surfing through the news ( I wish they had more apps# It looks just gorgeous. Anybody that comes into my place and see it goes WOW! The LCD screen gives huge touch to it. The only problem with stainless, as it's very well known, it gets dirty very easily, I have to wipe it out every day because my daughter leaves her finger prints all over. And No, no problems of any kind, #It is still new) I have it for only 3 to 4 months.
But it's simple phenomenal!!! I give this fridge a AAA+ rating!

So I heard that some people complained about the noise when the ice drops, but it's really not that big of a deal, IMO. Got this fridge over a week ago, and man, it is NICE! Keeps everything cold, as it should, the freezer is nice and deep, and the extra tray makes everything manageable. The touchscreen is awesome! Hookup to WiFi was a breeze, just make sure to update the firmware, and you are golden! The fridge has more than enough room for a family of four, I have yet to fill it up to capacity!
Make sure to wait for a sale, as this fridge is pretty expensive, but well worth the wait!
Best Buy delivery was excellent!

Has to be by far the best fridge in the store! Lots and lots of space. Frizer is huge. Love the second compartment door, for drinks. Love the touch screen, but hate that you can't down load any more apps than what it comes with, but they are great as well. The only thing is the loud noice the ice dispenser makes, but then again I think they all make loud noices.

Great Fridge, and a Cool Toy for Daddy to Show Off

So, we've had this for about 3 weeks now, and this replaces an Electrolux fridge which was only 2 years old. Gotta say I am very happy with my purchase.
Up front, let me repeat what I've read in a few other reviews: The very first time you plug this fridge in, you will need to "reboot" it a few times to get the temp down to its set temperature. According to the display, the fridge was down in the 30s within an hour of plugging it in, however a fridge thermometer read in the 50s. After 2 reboots (unplug, plug it in, wait for temp display to read in the 30s), the display finally read the correct temperature. Since then, we have had no troubles with the temperature.
Now, let me address some complaints others have had - the noise from the ice maker. To me, it *is* a bit louder than our Electrolux French Door, but it's not that bad. Plus, we're talking about a half second's worth of noise, at the most, every few hours. On the plus side, we have not had a problem with ice production. That said, the first few ice dumps will be especially loud since it is dumping ice into an empty plastic bin - and that's going to be noisy. However, once the ice bin has a bit of ice in it, the noise is not nearly as bad.
Our Electrolux would easily run out of ice, and would frequently (especially when we have guests) just stop making ice. So far, no issues here.
The fridge is very well lit, and uses LEDs, so no worries about additional heat from incandescents. My only (very minor) complaint here is that there could be a bit more lighting in the back, but it's by no means dark in there.
Another minor complaint with the fridge is the shelf space in the door on the ice maker/dispenser side. The middle shelf is almost completely useless. It's very thin (like 1.5-2 inches deep), and there is not much space between this shelf and the one above it. The shelves on the ice maker side are not adjustable, though they are removable. As for the remaining shelf space, we were able to fit our "door stuff" in these door shelves fine, though it did require moving things around a bit - should be no surprise here, though.
Now, here's my only real complaint about this fridge - the freezer door.
The first issue is that it will not stay open. This really becomes an issue when you're digging through the freezer to find dinner (or trying to put away groceries), and the door just starts to close on you.
My second issue with the freezer drawer is that it really should come out another 4-6 inches. The freezer drawer on our Electrolux was very nice in that it would come out almost all the way, so it would be easy to get to almost anything in the freezer. This Samsung still has a good bit of the drawer inside the freezer space, so you have to reach inside to get at what you need.
As for the apps panel, it does seem to be Android-based. It would have been nice if we were just given a stock Android interface so that it could be customizable. That said, it's really cool to have my Google Calendar on the fridge for reminders. Haven't used other apps that much yet, though. It is something that gets friends to say "Oh Cool!" when I show off the fridge :-)
Overall I am very happy with the fridge.

My husband and I purchased this fridge about a year ago to replace a very small one that wasn't holding all of our food. It was a considerable jump from features, size, etc. But we loved all the feature and unique design that Samsung had so we bought it.
Delivery went very smooth, they did have to bring it into the house without the handles on fridge (because it was too wide) but also had to take our door off the hinge so we could fit it in our door frame. A little bit dramatic but the delivery staff was great!
Over the last year we haven't had any problems with the cooling/freezing but the LCD did go out. So we couldn't change the temp or the type of ice which was a bummer. Samsung came out within a week and replaced the entire panel so it came with new apps and worked great.
Aside from the minor repair, we have loved this fridge and would recommend it to anyone that is interested in buying it. Just make sure you have the space it is by far the largest fridge (depth mostly) that we saw when shopping.

We have only had this refrigerator for a month and WE LOVE THIS FRIDGE!!!!! I wish that it actually had web browsing, but the apps that are on it, are great. Oh and the space..., I love the space and the different compartments, the design of this refrigerator was carefully thought out and it shows, there is a place for everything.,I had read reviews that said that the ice maker was too small but we are a family of 7 and so far have not ran out of ice. Now, I do agree with some of the other reviews about the ice maker being very loud when dropping ice, but that's a small sacrifice for such a wonderful refrigerator.. Would recommend to everyone!

We have had this refrigerator for over a year. It is the first Samsung purchase we made from Best Buy after we bought our home. Best Buy had a price match gurantee and we used it twice to take advantage for it, once when Lowes was selling the refrigerator at a lower price and once when Best Buy was further selling it at a lower price. We were told by the representative to keep searching for lower prices. We later came to know that the price match would be done only once but they kept their word since their representative had told us they would price match a second time. Over all, we got a good deal thanks to the price match. Best Buy delivered and installed it for us and everything was done in a couple of days!
As far as looks go, it is gorgeous. We had never had a stainless steel refrigerator earlier and my wife wanted one for our new home. In spite of its size, it does not look like it takes up space in our kitchen. As is the problem with all stainless steel appliances, it is easy to see the finger prints left behind. On the plus side, it is easy to clean the prints with a stainless steel wipe. It catches the attention of all the guests who come home.
I love the fact that the vegetable drawers are at hands reach and I no longer have to bend down as I did in the apartment. We cook fresh everyday and this is one compartment that gets used a lot and it can certainly store quite some vegetables. On any given week, we buy at least 1 cabbage, 1 cauliflower, 2-3 lbs tomatoes, 2-3 lbs potatoes and so many other vegetables and everything fits in.
The side shelves of the refrigerator on the left side door are a little smaller in size and one can store only small items but packs in a good number if you have several of those! As far as the shelves on the right side door go, they are more spacious. The only problem I have is that it can at maximum fit 2 gallon containers of milk or juice. The shelves height although adjustable can then no longer fit anything as large or tall as this.
This refrigerator has an ice maker and dispenses cold water. The water is not too cold in the summer (it reminds me of water that has been stored in a clay pot), which works for us but may not for others who like their water to be ice cold. During the winter, the water is ice cold and we dont use the water dispenser! The icemaker allows for two configurations, crushed ice and cubed ice. We find the crushed ice useful when we need the water to be colder than what is dispensed. We changed the water filter once and found it easy to change. We switched off the main water supply, changed the filter and turned the water back on. The ice maker has quite some capacity and we have used it to the maximum capacity when we made snow cones and could get enough ice to make snow cones for more than a dozen people! The ice gets made fast too.
I bought this refrigerator mainly because of the middle drawer and with the intent that if and when our family grows, our child will have snacks available at their arms reach. In the meantime, we use this drawer when we have filed the other compartments to the brim and can adjust the temperature so that it serves a refrigerator shelf :). We have used this drawer to store drinks just before a party, to store meat that we intend to cook within a few days, and to store party platters. It especially comes in useful for cooling down desserts like puddings and since I am on the shorter side, this shelf turns out to be perfect. The vegetables stay fresh at least for 3 weeks and sometimes longer!
The refrigerator has amazing storage capacity and I have never run out of space. I like the fact that one can change the configuration of the refrigerator to allow for taller items as an when it is needed. Also one can pull the shelves out a little to access the items at the back more easily which I think is a handy feature that will come in useful when the refrigerator is packed to its capacity. We have not yet had our refrigerator packed to the capacity.
This is the first time I have a bottom freezer. I chose this configuration because I hardly use the freezer but wanted to allow for a time in future where due to time constraints I may need to freeze food. It certainly has a huge capacity and I do not use it to its full capacity. I love the upper drawer of the refrigerator and that is where most things fit in. One of the disadvantages of this configuration is that you have to slide out the door to open the freezer compartment. Therefore, when we put something that is liquid in the freezer e.g slushies, it tends to spill in the process of opening the door. I need to experiment to see if I can install the upper drawer at a lower height to prevent such occurences in future. Other than that, the freezer is just a pit and unless one decides to buy storage containers or dividers, there is a lot of foraging involved if one stores a lot of food in the freezer :). We don't so it works for us.
The tempered glass shelves are beautiful and dont allow spills from the top shelves to come down to the bottom. They are easy to clean. Remove them, soak them in some water and clean them. One needs to read the manual though to figure out how to remove them the first time. I was unable to remove one of the shelves from the refrigerator door for cleaning. It might be that whoever installed it, fit it so tight and I was afraid of damaging the refrigerator. The other shelves came out easily. Unfortunately for us, the right side of the refrigerator door is right against the pantry door which means that I cannot open the door wide enough to remove the vegetable tray on the right side and will have to make do with just wiping the tray down. I have not yet used the flexible pizza pocket since we do not buy and store pizza at home.
We loved our refrigerator and wanted it to be scratch free and bought refrigerator liners from Container Store and that is when we saw that we needed a dozen of them which speaks for the capacity of this refrigerator!
This refrigerator plays music using Pandora and it turns out to be quite nice! The speaker system is quite good. However, with the advent of smart phones playing music can also be done on your phone. I use Google Calendar in normal life so the fact that it allows for google calendar was good and my husband can look it up. The disadvantage is that you can login to only one account so one needs to share their calendars I suppose for both spouses to be able to see.
As far as the shopping list app goes, it did not match up to my expectations. They allow for choosing only from a particular list of foods and depending on the culture and cuisine, there are way more ingredients than this list supports for. In the end, I stopped using this feature as I found it cumbersome. They should allow for manual input of the items in the refrigerator. We do not use the memos for now. I think adding a stylus will be useful since it would make it easier to write the memo. There is a twitter app but we don't use it since we don't use twitter although I would say using your smart phone would be easier. It is useful when you want to post a quick update. I use it for seeing the time and the weather, but since we have clocks around the home that show us the weather, this feature did not add too much but will definitely be a wow factor for someone who does not have other handy means of seeing the weather. I use it sometimes for scrolling through the news. There is access to one of the cooking websites - epicurious, which does not sit that well with me since I access a whole lot of different websites. If there had been a web browser, it would have been great. I have not uploaded photos so it is not a feature that is used much.
The screen is good, and i think it is easy to change the temperature of the refrigerator, freezer from the screen. Wifi was also easy to set up.
Overall, we are happy with the refrigerator. The apps could do better. If one does get a good deal, it is a refrigerator worth buying!

we are not ice people, but if you are you need to think twice about this product. expect no ice for the first 24-48 hr of getting the fridge. after that bucket is small and will run out after a jug full of ice. other wise, it's a great buy!!
This fridge isn't only tech savvy, but also great for a mom who cooks, and is a typical soccer mom, keeping up with practice timing n all, finding recipes, plus keeping track of grocery, it's all easy.
Finger prints do show, but they don't bother me, I spray it off every night. It's very spacious, and my hubby installed it up himself without any hassle.
I thought freezer would be small, but it holds alot, I like the fact top tray doesn't come out when i pull out the drawer.
great buy on a memorial day weekend I paid around $2600 and for that it's worth every penny!!

Bought this refrigerator at Best Buy in November and couldn't be happier. Had been looking at it for some time and then I got a flier in mail with an awesome price on it plus a 20% off coupon so I went out and got it. It is very spacious and love the LCD screen and the APPS. The freezer is big and keeps ice cream just right for serving. Yes, the ice maker is a little loud but not that bothersome. I just love everything about it!!!!!

We bought this refrigerator around Thanksgiving and is in love with the very cool and cutting edge features. There's plenty of room to store all of our products and the ability to shift the shelves is a tremendous help with organization. The snack draw seemed unnecessary when we bought it but is now a must have. The twin cooling system is excellent. Our food remain fresh much longer than with our previous Kitchen Aid refrigerator. We can now keep our guacamole looking fresh fir a few days. We also love the energy efficient features of the refrigerator. One of the cool hip feature is the built in tablet with Twitter, Pandora, Epicurious, and other web sites. This is a very cool feature but it's still buggy. I've had to reboot it several times and often have to re-key in my password to reconnect to my home wireless network. One big complain is the ice dispenser. People often mistake the water dispenser for the ice dispenser because it's positioned so high. Anyone over 5'5 will have to bend to see it. Other than that its a great refrigerator with lots of storage space and great cutting edge features.

We had been long time side-by-side fridge buyers. We recently bought a deep freezer for bulk items and it turns out we didn't need that much freezer space after-all. The french door option allows for maximum fridge space. We have two small children and the flex temp drawer was probably our main selling point. To be able to stash juice boxes, fruit and cheese and other kid friendly snacks in a kid height drawer has been a dream. We love the full lit fridge with the LED lighting. There isn't a dark corner to be found. Everything is easily visible and at our fingertips.
As for fingerprints on the stainless, unlike others (apparently) we use the built-in handles to open the doors and don't really have too much issue with fingerprints all over everything.
The ice maker can be loud at times but easily accessible in the fridge compartment when needed.
We do with there was a web-browsing app but the included apps are useful. Especially Pandora. Listening to tunes is nice when making meals.
The doors have a double hinge type action so they don't close by themselves which is the only drawback.
Otherwise we would highly recommend this to anyone!
