Where do I begin with this utter piece of TRASH that Samsung decided to call a refrigerator. This refrigerator was purchased new in Nov 2015 along with an entire kitchen suite of Samsung appliances AND a Samsung front load washer and dryer combo. Of the numerous, and I mean numerous problems we've had with all of these Samsung appliances; this "refrigerator" certainly takes the cake for worst appliance I have ever owned. Throughout the course of my 5 year ownership of this refrigerator I have had Multiple service calls on this refrigerator. There are 2 main critical design flaws with this refrigerator. 1. Ice continuously builds up around the top of the compressor lines that enter the refrigerator. These are located behind a plastic panel at the back of the refrigerator. This ice builds up and blocks the primary fan from circulating cold air into the refrigerator. Once this happens everything is 'luke-warm' inside but this "intelligent" refrigerator still thinks its cold inside because the temperature probe is not actually located inside the refrigerator. I have had all the manufacturer's recommended "fixes" for this completed several times over and nothing solves this problem. We have tried new condenser line sensor, main board replacement, installing of the new, longer drain probe for the evaporator heating element, and about a few different back panel replacements with ZERO effectiveness. This #1 issue is a material weakness to the design of this refrigerator, Samsung is fully aware of this issue and CONTINUES to sell this design to US consumers. This should warrant a class action lawsuit for this reason alone. 2. The ice maker fails to drop ice into the tray because it freezes to the side of the ice maker. This is a well documented issue as well and there is no fix for this design: STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS.

It looks clean, spacious, easy to storage and organize everything!

So far, we totally love this fridge. It is styled beautifully, has an absolute ton of space, and everything seems to be working perfectly. I saw a lot of negative reviews about the ice maker, but have not experienced any problems with it. Sometimes I think people just want to find something to complain about. It makes ice, it dispenses ice... what else does it need to do? I love the fridge, and have now ordered the matching range and microwave.

This the best refrigerator I have ever owned. The wide top level allows you see everything without piling dishes on top of each other. The bottom freezer has a place for an extra ice maker. But the best part is the drawer in the refrigerator that can be used as a chiller for beverages or for a deli tray.

Much better then our old unit. Great lighting, fast freezing and temperature control. One of the main features was ice and water without taking up too much room. The Samsung allowed us to replace two refrigerators.

The Samsung stainless steel refrigerator is better looking and easier to use with better buttons than my 10 year old Samsung stainless steel I just replaced. Love It!!

I love everything about the refrigerator the only downside is that when it was installed it had multiple scratches that are easy to see so we have another one being delivered this week. I like the look of the refrigerator very much the functionality is great the layout makes it very easy to find stuff. The freezer store more then expected.

Overall solid product. My only issue is that the doors are slightly uneven

Only one complaint about this fridge. The control panel bubbled up for some reason, other than that it is great

If you’re looking for a big refrigerator, this is it. Tons of room in both the fridge and freezer . It’s also really good looking! Highly recommended.

This fridge is great! It holds so much in both the fridge and freezer. Everything works great and I got it for a great price. No issues.

This was a very bad purchase, so much so that I had to scroll thru all my purchases just to write this. This fridge has continued to fall apart through the years. The ice maker freezes up and don’t make ice, the plastic shelves are cheap and frail, I assume the cold air over time has made it brittle and it all just cracked and broke like glass. I can’t used the shelves because they fell apart. The places where the glass meets plastic are tiny openings or spaces so when something spills its almost impossible to clean just horrible. The one positive thing is that it stay cold, but what’s the use if the shelves are cracked and broken you don’t have anywhere to place your food. Mike the bestbuy sales person told me don’t buy this fridge, but the price was good and I WAS loyal to Samsung. I wish I would have listened. A piece of junk.

We love our new fridge. We've had it 4 month and zero problems. The black stainless looks great.

Realy happy so fare......... Can't wait to use it more

GREAT, I can 'see' things now - wonderful lighting

I really like the frig but there was damages on the frig when it got delivered that wasn’t there when I checked it out on sales floor and also wasn’t on the sticker that were on the frig but didn’t see it until I got for vacation two weeks later

If I had rated this fridge during the first year of owning it, it would get an easy 5 stars, it looks great and has tons of space. However, this and many Samsung refrigerators have many design problems that render them useless 2-4 years after purchase. I just bought a new GE to replace my 3-year old Samsung. My fridge started having problems just after its second birthday; ice builds up inside the back wall of the fridge and starts to hit the evaporator fan, which makes it sound like there is a small airplane landing in your kitchen. To fix this, you have to take out all of your shelves and all of your food, unscrew the panel on the back wall of the refrigerator compartment, and use a hair dryer for 15-20 minutes to melt all of the ice buildup. I have to do this time consuming procedure every 2 weeks. I posted a pic showing the tremendous amount of ice this fridge can accumulate (there should be no ice buildup at all in a properly designed fridge). There is a black heating element designed to prevent icing, you can see it in the bottom of the pic, but it is nowhere near where the ice is actually forming. I have had a several repair people say this is a non-fixable design flaw and cannot be repaired. Samsung service is even worse, they just tell me to contact a local repair shop (which I already did), to somehow fix an unfixable design problem. Don't believe me? Google the term "samsung fridge icing up" and you can click on the samsung forum with hundreds of reports of this problem. And then there is the ice maker. There is a class action lawsuit pending over this ice maker (you can google this as well), which frosts over and freezes, so it makes no ice. It needs to be regularly defrosted with a hair dryer. It also dispenses melting ice water with the cubes, which aren't really cubes but are broken off pieces of half-melted ice. The Samsung customer service couldn't care less, it's not their problem if it is out of warranty, even though these units should be recalled due to numerous design problems. I would run as far away from anything made by Samsung and do your research before you buy. Do yourself a favor and buy any other brand, unless prefer to have to throw away a $2000 fridge after 3 years like I now have to do. It is robbery that these units are still for sale on showroom floors, Best Buy should do some research on these issues and assess whether they should continue selling a defective product with widespread problems.

Fridge looks amazing! So far it has been great. Wasn’t sure if I was going to get more freezer room going with a bottom freezer. But wow, when I moved everything from the side by size to this bottom freezer I was amazed at how much room I still had left! (side by side freezer was packed) Love the space on the top fridge too. Just went grocery shopping brought home a bunch of stuff including 5 gallons of milk and everything fit with room to spare! Now the space on the door where the water dispenser is seems a little worthless but think the overall space is worth it. Was first thinking I wanted those slim ice makers to get more door space but after seeing them at the store, thought the storage space seemed about the same. Not worth it for the reduced ice. Water tastes great from the dispenser. Ice amount seems good, haven’t ran out. Husband fills his 40 oz yeti with ice before he leaves to work and we still have ice for our drinks during the day. Great fridge.

Good space. Nice design. I’ve had it for four months now and have two major gripes. If spill anything inside it’s impossible to clean without taking the interior apart. Red juice is forever on display between the glass shelf and the white supports. Also the ice dispenser sends ice chunks everywhere. Other than that this is a great fridge.
