We love our new frig with the french doors! The interior is well-lit and I have an easier time finding things. The door tells you what temp the frig and freezer are staying at and I love that. The freezer gives us lots more room than we used to have. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the ice dispenser on the door tends to spit out little chunks of ice on the floor while you're filling your glass!

Samsung makes a great refrigerator. This is the second one I have bought from Best Buy (had to leave the first one in my previous home when I sold it. The new owners liked it as much as I did and made it a condition of the purchase). I bought basically the same model as before, but in a slightly larger size. Love the water and ice in the door, the adjustable shelves, the LED lighting and the convenient storage space. Had the previous one for 3 years without a problem and expect this one to be the same.

Overall, a great fridge with lots of space. Love the shelf versatility.

The refrigerator looks nice and has good capacity. The doors weren't level when delivered but with a little adjusting they are now close enough. The freezer handle is a plus with the assisted open feature but also came loose after a few weeks. A little more adjusting and back to normal. The settings are easy to operate

This fridge is really spacious. I really like the LED lighting and adjustable shelves. The water/ice dispenser works very smooth and relatively quite, except when dispensing ice cubes; that's understandable. The outer surface is very nice and avoids finger/hand prints. If there were any Cons, I'd say the temperature settings do not agree with the actual temperature. I adjust the temp to match a portable manual thermometer I install/move from fridge and freezer, as needed. And, the right side door isn't/can't be adjusted to match the height of the left side door. The installer told me the door was already set to the correct setting. I’ve seen other Samsung fridges with the same exact door height issue. Other than that, I’m happy with this fridge.

I am totally in love with is fridge. It has so much space, which could sometimes be a bad with. The lighting is amazing & I love the movable shelves.

I am very happy with this refrigerator. I have had it for about 1 1/2 months. I loved the way it started up - it cooled down and started making ice within 4 hours. It has lots of space and the inside lighting is very good. I had one thing wrong so I waited to write this review until I found out if it was a design flaw or just needed an adjustment. The little spout that dispenses the water was angled to the back so much that I could not fill a glass or a pitcher without the water spraying on the back of the opening and spilling down the refrigerator. It turned out it needed adjusting. If you have that problem, just pull the spout toward you hard until it snaps into a groove. The water still angles back but much lower down now so I can fill most vessels by placing them on the support shelf and pressing the water on.

I love the looks of this Refrigerator. The ice cube maker could be better. Also noticed that when I open the doors I have condisation sometimes.

This Samsung fridge is great for the price. We were constantly running out of room in our last fridge. We have tons of space in this model. Seems to be quite efficient too since it rarely turns on, unless your opening it a bunch. My only issue with it is the "fingerprint proof" stainless surface. It still gets a bunch of prints on it from my kids, not sure what's up with that.

This is the first French door refrigerator I have ever owned. I really like the capacity. It has much more space than my old one. I like the LED lights inside. Everything is so bright. I also like the quietness of this refrigerator; it makes very little noise. There was a little problem in the beginning. When we first used the refrigerator, the water dispenser kept dripping water. We had to put a cup under it to hold the water. I was upset and wanted to return it, but it was all good the next day. It has been over a month since we bought the fridge and it seems working fine.

We recently replaced all of our appliances with a Samsung suite. I was nervous because many of them have very mixed reviews and I was advised against Samsung. But the price was right and so far everything is great. We had an old, white side by side left in the house when we bought it. After a year of fighting for space and hating the freezer on that one we purchased this one. Huge difference. I like how adjustable the shelves are with plenty of room to put tall items. It has so much space and such great lighting. I’m thrilled with it. I would have liked to have a separate drawer between the refrigerator and freezer, because we had that on our last Samsung and stored cold drinks there. So we didn’t have to open the entire fridge to get to them. But we are not really missing that feature. I am amazed at the massive storage space in the freezer. Our only complaint about this unit (and it’s a small one) is that the ice dispenser is so very slow to get the ice flowing, especially with crushed ice. But that’s just a small blip compared to all the good features this refrigerator has. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this unit.

I wanted to replace my 9 year old Kenmore refrigerator with this one so I did. This one looks very nice but I truly hate it because how loud it is. If I could return it I wouldn't hesitate but it was delivered and I don't have the box or anything. The lighting is nice also. I have it at the recommended settings and I can hear it turning on all the time. I have a open floor plan design in my house so I get to hear it turning on all the time. I never even heard my Kenmore turn on except at night when everyone is sleeping. The internal freezer drawer only pulls out about 75% if that and it makes it hard to recharge inside it unless I open the French doors. Plus it's really hard to move to clean underneath, I don't think it has wheels. I think it's OK but if I knew this things I definitely wouldn't purchase it again.

Love the spaciousness of the fridge. The only issue we have is the ice maker. It does not detect etc well when the ice bucket is full.

First a cautionary note, these new refrigerators are wider than most older models. They also vent heat at the rear, but on the sides of the unit. The opening that was available with our cabinets was 36" wide leaving less than one half inch space total when placed. However, once the unit turns on the sides bow out very slightly, further reducing the available space to vent the heat. I would strongly recommend that Samsung vent the heat in the front of future units to insure proper heat dissipation. The unit is very functional, with lots of available shelf space, with a minor issue involving limited space that can handle tall items such as milk, and soft drink bottles. The unit holds the temperatures very accurately. I have it set at 39 degrees, but since the ice maker is inside the refrigerator unit, the temperature on the door next to the ice maker is actually just below 32 degrees. That can be problematic if one puts freeze sensitive items on that left hand side door. The unit runs very quietly, with the normal, slight, infrequent noise when the ice maker drops the cubes into the ice cube container. Overall, a very nice refrigerator.

I love the fridge part. There is so much more room with this set up than there was with my older side by side. The only thing that I was disappointed with was the ice maker. It says it's suppose to be three times faster, but I'm unsure with what they were comparing it to. The ice maker is slow and the ice cubes are very small. I love the refrigerator part though.

I've had this refrigerator for approx. 2 months and I love it. The LED lighting is great, and there is lots of space. Mine is quiet, have no complaints there. Looks great. I did a lot of research and this was the best for the money and features. I chose this because the doors close much smoother. Also, the freezer opened/closed easier than any I looked at. The only thing I would change is the ice maker doesn't produce ice as quickly into my cup as I would like. But not a huge deal to me. Overall I am very happy and impressed with the quality and features.

I love the refrigerator. The shelves are great especially the one that retracts for larger items. The shelves inside doors have a lot of space. My only gripe is tbat I've had it for around 3 weeks and for some reason the ice machine will not empty ice from the door to cup. I will be putting in a request for it to be fixed.

Very spacious. Quiet. Able to adjust shelves for my needs. Top freezer drawer does not pull out as much as I would like but can deal with that.

We got this fridge about 6 weeks ago after our 8 year old GE died. I read a lot about the french doors and eventually settled on Samsung as they have mastered the two coil system which they call Double Cooling System. LG and Whirlpool have also recently introduced this concept. It helps to reduce the problem I had with my earlier GE where it was not able to take the cold air from freezer to the upper chamber. Pros - Cold Water (just right) - Nice ice cubes - Veggie bins maintain their humidity - Fairly quiet - Fast cooling Cons - Temperature stated on panel is always 2-4 degrees less than interior temperature. So either we call someone to get that calibrated or you can just have it lower than you want - say if you want 35 degrees then set temperature to 32 degrees - Big fat ugly ice maker takes up lot of space. Cannot fit more than 2 milk bottles - No specific place for butter - Left side door interior panel is literally unusable - Designed for people who use their right hand more than left hand Overall a good buy for the discounted price I got. Best buy has good customer service. Make sure you buy the extended warranty as these things do have tendency to go bad.

Plenty of space, quiet and looks great. The ice maker does take up most of the door space but you can still squeeze small items there.
