This Samsung monitor is connected via USB to my Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Series Laptop to have the convenience of a desktop and the mobility of a laptop. Dell is the only computer I will purchase and all my other electronics are Samsung. Great solution. Very happy.

I love the ultra wide curve almost swallows you in. But at this price range I would expect 4K. I also like how tall you can set it up without wall mounting. The adjustable stand is definitely a great feature.

I bought this monitor after taking back the Samsung 4k 28" monitor. The primary reason for returning the other one was the build quality of the base was a joke, not what I would expect from Samsung. Even though this monitor is not 4k the picture is great. Love the dual inputs as well as the display port connection. Best of all is the overall construction of the monitor and base. This monitor is what I would expect from a Samsung product.

I love Samsung products and currently have a 65'' Curved 4k in my game room. I was looking for a monitor with some more pixels to replace my Samsung 27'' 950D. Pros: Great looking monitor all around (what I've come to expect from Samsung) Vesa 100x100 wall mount ready x2 HDMI, 1 Display Port (Fullsize) Great Built-in Speakers (I dont plan to use them but they are best in class for PC Monitors) Good Build Quality Curve is very easy on the eyes. HDMI Cable Included Great Color Accuracy No Dead Pixels PiP Capable Cons: Only 60Hz Brightness Could be Higher Performance is in the $300-$400 class of monitors (far better perfoming monitors in the $500-$600 price range). Matte Display (I prefer gloss to avoid the grainy look) An above average monitor that should be in the $400 - $500 price range. I have tested this monitor with League of Legends, GTA5, Guild Wars 2, & Battlefield 4. Soon with The Witcher 3 and the performance is good but not great for gaming. I will keep using it for the next 2 weeks to see if it grows on me. If not, I will return it for a 28'' 4K monitor from Asus or Samsung.

My spouse and I are academics, we spend too much time working at home on desktop computers. I use two large flatscreens in my office, which I thought was ideal until I bought my wife a new desktop with this large curved monitor. It is beautiful (my wife too but I mean the screen). The image, resolution is remarkable. In this sense it's not good for work because it is so tempting to look for HD videos on Netflix. The sound is good, the ability to move the screen up and down is very convenient, it looks great. It's large enough to put four pages of a WORD or Google Docs file spread out full page which is just ideal for writing, reading, editing. Spreadsheet work is facilitated, looking at a webpage while working in two other windows is wonderfully clear and easy, within two hours of my wife unwrapping her present she was plugged in and 'net surfing and I was checking my credit to see if I could get one for myself. Curved makes a big positive difference (again, talking about the screen, not my wife).

My daughter has health issues and is affected by certain electronic devices. We bought this screen because it is large enough with great resolution to have it be a few feet away from her. Since it doesn't have processors like a t.v., it is safer. I think it is easier on the eyes as well. We love the curved shape. I am an accountant and like being able to have several programs open and visible at the same time without needing two to three screens. The speakers are a plus.

I am not a gamer nor do I watch a lot of streaming videos on my computer. I was looking for a monitor that had PBP (picture by picture) capabilities. PBP allows me to view two video sources (separate computers) side by side simultaneously. I usually run this monitor with the left half of the screen dedicated as a second monitor for a laptop, and the right half of the screen as the primary screen for a desktop computer. There are two HDMI inputs and one DisplayPort input. It is very easy to configure which video input is placed into which half of the screen. Audio can be directed to the internal speakers from any of the inputs as well. I have also dedicated the monitor entirely to one computer, but that is not the way that I normally use it. My desk space is limited. This one monitor gives me multiple monitor and multiple computer capabilities in a minimum amount of desk space. I am very happy with this purchase.

I always want to try the ultra wide screen monitor, but I thought 34 inch or over is too big, and too expensive, so when this Samsung 29 is on sale, I took it home. I like the back of the monitor, look like shiny black aluminum with a chrome logo, very nice! the connection thru HDMI is easy and the pc automatically change to the max resolution. The color is accurate and images are detailed and clean. 9W speakers sounds pretty good. This is my entry level UW monitor, I might get another same or larger size later. I am not disappointed.

At first was hesitant to purchase a 21:9 display, thinking it would "squish" certain images. I just set up my windows 10 display for 21:9 resolution and everything worked great! I am going to purchase another one soon for my second pc

When I purchased my Samsung TV I was able to get this monitor for free. I ended up giving it to my father at a discounted price as he was in the market for this model. I know he likes the size of the screen for having multiple things up at once and the curved aspect for viewing. The screen is very clear and works well with windows 10. A Good quality monitor especially if you can get it at a discounted price.

Great for those who do development and need the real estate. Also have found that just about every game I have played does support this ultra-wide resolution, so that shouldn't be of a concern. Speakers are nice and loud - I actually have it turned down to 33% and I still need to turn it down sometimes.

Went in to purchase standard screen since I didn't know for sure what a gamer would like. Sales person asked about intended use before just selling me the first thing I looked at. VERY KNWLEDGEABLE. I looked like a star when my son opened his gift. He loves it and was very surprised I made such a perfect selection. First one of his friends to get this screen but others are already checking it out for thrmselves.

I would highly advise to read reviews before you buy this monitor. I use this for gaming that being said not all games will work with the resolution. For the sale price the monitor can not be beat for a Ultrawide. I like having a dual monitor setups and this monitor makes it so one acts like 2. The stand is amazing. Really wish this monitor would have came with the 4 usb ports like the 34inch one does but it is also $400 less. Color calibration is a must please have a professional do this if you do not know how.

Built in speakers rock. Display is vivid, very little backlight bleed. Solid stand which offers multi angle swivel. Highly recommended, unless you want a bigger one...

In need of a 2nd & 3rd monitors to work on a special project so I have enough "space" to work with so many applications I have to open at the same time (sliding back and forth between windows/desktops are not an option). This extra wide screen really acts as if I have 2 extra monitors in front of me while my laptop (the 1st screen) sits under it (up/down placement). If extra working space is what you need, this is it. Sorry can't comment on tv or movie watching, not yet get to that yet! Reason I can't give it a 5-star? Resolution could be crispier!!

This monitor is seriously the Bently/Rolls Royce of monitors. I bought it for my office at work and it genuinely makes me excited to come to work every day. Images are crispy as can be and the extra wide dimensions make scrolling to the right on spreadsheets ancient history. The only thing I will say is dont buy this monitor if you aren't ready for everyone in your company to come to you and ask where you got it and how much it was and even to use it for a bit to experience the sheer bliss for themselves.

It took some getting used to just because I wasn't used to such a long, narrow screen, but the beautiful color and resolution is just what I would expect from Samsung and it is a very intuitive product. Easy to set up and easy to adjust. Did I mention it is beautiful? lol LOVE it :)

I am very happy with the picture quality and resulution. Thinking of getting a few more.

I'm not a graphic artist, but I much prefer a high quality monitor. I have IPS, PLS, and a few cheap TNs. The fact that this 29" curved Samsung wasn't an IPS concerned me at first, but boy was I wrong. I've been using for work and play for over a week and the more I use it, the more impressed I am with it. Built in speakers are the best I have ever heard (for built in). They don't beat standalone speakers, but being built in they don't take up any desk space. The curved panel on a 21:9 is the only way to go. BB had an LG 29" 21:9 for half the price of this samsung, but I had read that these wider monitors really benefit from the curve and I can definitely say it's true (for me anyway). The stand is attractive and fully adjustable. Even though this was more than I intended to spend on a new monitor, I have zero regrets.

Love this monitor! I bought this to replace my smaller monitor because I can hardly read on it. I set it up so the program window fits the whole screen . Now I do not have to wear glasses to read. The Eye Saver Mode works!
