I am very pleased with how this sounds. I had no intension of spending hundreds but you get what you pay for. It is even better than I expected it to sound. Easy to hook up..worth the money. My only negative is the remote feels cheap, don't like the volume "toggle bar".

I went in to the store to find a certain battery, and saw these (in an open box deal). I asked the guy on the floor if I could hear them and they were set up nearby. Sounded really crisp and powerful for the price -- $179 open box. Went home with them and they sound great. As a side note, I've been a sound-man for various bands and churches when I was younger so I actually have a decent understanding of sound, and I'm impressed by the sound of this little setup. I was impressed enough to go back to another location to pick up the wireless rear speaker set up (the original location didn't have them in stock, the BB about 15 miles away had them). Would definitely recommend, whether for a TV or for your PC. Here's a recommendation if you're using for your PC--get an HDMI Audio Extractor ($~50 at BB). It's a royal pain to get 5.1 to work with the optical out and if you use the HDMI out on your PC, Windows sees it as another monitor which opens a whole nother issue.

Bought a new Samsung RU8000 and quickly found out TV sound isn't what it used to be. Not just Samsung TVs, other brands too. Crisp clear sound, no depth. The new sound bar is good, not great. It definitely gives the TV an overall richer, deeper sound. The subwoofers strength and volume are maxed out at +6. Samsung really should look into expanding this. Making it louder and stronger. I think it is better suited for a smaller room, also. That being said, IF YOU WANT that big theater type sound, and have a larger room to fill, want a good stereo effect, I would go for a digital receiver and a pair of speakers. You might want a center speaker to add to this, but can get that later. If you have speakers, get the receiver! A soundbar is limited as to what it can do. A receiver will do the same thing, and more. Dollar for dollar, sound for sound, I think the receiver and speakers are a better deal.

This soundbar was more than I expected! Went to Best Buy to by a cheaper one. The salesman suggested this one for a few dollars more . He explained how the true theater quality was with this model and he was rite ! If you want an awesome theater sound I highly suggest this model !

The sound bar is extremely helpful and you're not having to constantly having to adjust the volume. It did take me some time to read tthrough the instructions, locate the wires to the outlets and sync the remote control. Once that's done, everything worked fine.

The mount for Samsung bars is dumb. It’s a pin to get it to work with a universal TV mount. Don’t want to just mount it to my wall. Less holes. So that’s dumb. The HDMI ARC drops randomly and you have to u plug bar and tv. Wait. Then plug in again. Not sure if it’s with auto sensing stuff via HDMI CEC or what? It doesn’t do it when my blu ray player isn’t plugged in but when it is it happens every other day. Too much of a pain to take down so I’ll just deal with it. But. Disappointed. If it didn’t sound good for the Black Friday price I would not have it still

I've only had this item for a short period of time. A BB employee told me to get a soundbar that was at least a 3.1 and above in order for the sound to make a difference and not sound the same as the tv sound. It sounds good so far. I actually make out what people are saying now.

I like this 3.1 soundbar. It could be a little louder when watching sports. When I'm playing music it sounds much louder than when watching regular TV. I also have Samsung 4K TV. Overall, I'm satisfied and I would purchase again. For the money I can't complain.

This thing made a huge difference in my TV/Movie watching experience. It's great for the price and I would recommend it to anyone. Just don't expect movie surround sound quality, but with that in mind, this is a nice addition to my entertainment center.

The Bar works quite well and the sound is great. However sometimes it shuts itself off. When the TV is turned on the sound is connected to the TV speakers. Have to turn the bar back on and reconnect them make sure it is working instead of the TV speakers.

This sound bar produces vibrant sound quality with wireless subwoofer for super easy installation. You will not be disappointed with theater quality surround sound while watching movies or sports. The clarity of the voices makes movies much more enjoyable!

I hate sound bars but in some circumstances they have their place. 3.1 is the way to go since it has dedicated center channel which works very well. not much else to say. I bought it because the price was great and it works very well for how I use it.

Great sound quality when used with 4k tv (especially if also Samsung). Easy to connect and setup. Great that it connects with my cable company's remote (makes it more convenient). Easily customize the sound with the options installed on the device.

Bought this on Black Friday 2019 as I was looking for a decent quality soundbar that was not a mega-super-theater expense or had a bazillion speakers and wires. This is wireless and super-easy to set up and use. Great sound from across a room.

Great Speaker Bar. I think Samsung does a great job with their speaker bars compared to some other brands. I love that I can pair it through BT to my Samsung TV but for better quality I still use HDMI anyways. It provides great depth and range for quality sound.

I purchased this to replace a 5.1 channel sound system. I took a little bit to set it up because I needed an adapter. Samsung quality is always a name we trust. We have had multiple Samsung products and don't hesitate with the brand.

The surround sound with the woofer is awesome! you can feel the movie theatre experience when the volume is up. The sound bar makes a huuuuge difference vs coming out of the TV. I love it. Glad I didn't go with the 2.1. With the woofer, it's an awesome combo.

Sounds way better than the built in speakers, easy to connect, great sound for movies/gaming. Only complaint is that while listening to music the bass is tad lacking, even with the eq bass setting at max. Other than that it’s well worth the purchase.

We were looking for a sound bar that would not only improve the general sound but that would improve the ability to hear the conversations. The Samsung 3.1 -Channel 340W Soundbar System was recommended to us by the Best Buy Associate and the price was a winner also!

This item is a huge improvement compared to my television’s regular sound. Adjustable bass and clear sound makes it ideal for me when I want to hear music. I have a lot of people asking me where I bough this product at, and I say Best Buy .
