    Bought on black Friday. Set up in less than 10 minutes. I've been enjoying it since. Definitely recommend it if you're wanting to upgrade your entertainment experience.

    I’m not an audiophile, more of a general consumer. This sound bar is a smart sound bar and was easy to connect. It sounds great. Good value for the price!

    The soundbar itself is awesome. Great sound and clarity, but the subwoofer seems underpowered, even with "woofer" volume turned all the way up.

    Fairly easy to hook up sub is ok for low speaker hard to change with different apps as sound quality is varied on apps

    Even at the highest volume it's not very loud. Thinking of exchanging it for a full surround sound system.

      I am very sorry to see that the volume seems too quiet on this soundbar.

      It has come to our attention that customers may be positioning the soundbar incorrectly, resulting in poor sound quality and low volume. The soundbar should be placed with the SAMSUNG logo facing up towards the ceiling. If you position the soundbar with the logo facing up, you will see the display/status panel and the speakers will be facing outward. (Refer to product photos on Samsung.com and zoom in on the photos) If you have incorrectly placed the soundbar with the SAMSUNG logo perpendicular to the floor (facing you when you sit), you will experience muffled or low sound because the unit will be resting on the speakers.

      Please also try the various sound modes this model offers. Press the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then select your desired sound effect: STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, GAME, or SMART.

      You can further adjust TREBLE and BASS via the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear symbol).

    All new tV's need a sound bar or else the volume on the TV has to be extremely high . We had another Samsung sound bar and this one is just as good.

    Sound quality was worse then the TV

    I was pretty disappointed after hooking up the sound bar to my Samsung TV. I’ve been having problems with the speakers in my TV so I purchase the R650 to make up for it. The product works but the speakers in my TV blow the sound bar away. I hooked the sound bar up using the optical connection (not sure if that’s what the problem was). Overall not impressed.

    Good Sounds but Not Subwoofer

    The sound bar sounds great and was easy to connect to the TV. The sub woofer connected easily as well but very little, if any, sound comes from the sub woofer. I spent more than an hour making sure I had done everything correctly but did not fare any better. Therefore, i rate the sound bar as average and the sub woofer as no good. If i had to do it again i would just purchase the sound bar without the sub woofer.
