Bought this sound bar on sort of a whim. I was satisfied with the speakers that came with my Samsung TV but I wanted to see what a sound bar would add. I was pleasantly surprised at the difference. Much clearer sound and the subwoofer makes a huge difference. I quickly added the Samsung SWA-8500S wireless rear speakers and for around $400 I now enjoy a basic surround sound experience. I'm not an audiophile and I don't think what I have could be called a home theater, but it's an order of magnitude better than what I started with.

The sound with woofer gives good sound to TV with rear speakers. Brings the sound to front. The woofer gives great bass when needed.

I really like the soundbar. 1st I've ever owned. I am still at a loss of why I need to buy a woofer. They only add a little bit of an uplift to the sound but frankly I hate the space these things take up. Probably more of an industry/design issue. The different modes are great. Easy to use. I would use the optical cable vs. Bluetooth if you can. I was using BT but switched after running it for awhile and can tell the difference in quality. Worth the investment.

Great sound, easy connection and setup, Bluetooth works great. Slim style, deep bass from sub woofer.

We bought the TV and soundbar at the same time. Both are so easy to set up and use. The sound bar produces wonderful sound quality.

I spent a lot of time reading reviews and bought the Samsung R650 Soundbar on sale...The 8500S rear speaker kit IS indeed compatible with this Soundbar and can be verified on Samsung’s website...A lot of Best Buy reviews say otherwise but are based on the website information which is not the most current...My 8500S rear speakers work fine, just follow the directions when setting them up...Another important point to note from Samsung’s website is the Soundbar R650 and more expensive models support 4K viewing thru the HDMI (ARC)...It sounds as if lower less expensive models do not (verify on Samsung’s website of course)...With my 4K TV and Blu-Ray, I Connected the HDMI ARC from TV to HDMI ARC on Soundbar...Connect HDMI Blu-Ray directly to other HDMI on Soundbar (not TV) for best sound...obviously if you have a 4K TV, make sure your HDMI cables support it...Do some searching on Samsung’s website and most common questions/problems are addressed...Compatibility for the Sounbars and both rear speaker kits is up to date as well.

Simply stated...this is a great soundbar for the money. I listened to numerous soundbar systems from less expensive to ridiculously expensive. For the money, this system sounded great and I have no complaints with its performance. FYI, I later added the Samsung wireless rear speaker system and that really balances out the whole audio experience. My only complaint is how the system is controlled by remote. The remote functions well, but a universal remote cannot control the soundbar because of the difference between IR and RF.

The 3.1 channel 340w sound bar system was easy to set up and improved our tv watching. The sound is great. Great investment.

No instant connectivity for Bluetooth connection with Samsung Tv. Seems that should have been built in. Great sound though

Price is what I was sold on with this bar but definitely didn’t disappoint. Great sound great bass. Worth every penny.

Really good sounding speakers for the money. I would recommend it for someone who wants to have surroundsound at a good value.

Bought this as a gift on sale during Christmas time. I helped set up the system and it paired right up with the Samsung Q6 QLED TV. Easy as can be. We also paired it with the extra wireless rear speakers. Once paired, it was a little tricky because the rear speakers have their own separate volume level. You can control it with the soundbar remote, but you have to navigate thru the menu to find rear level settings. Overall very happy with the purchase. Big time improvement over TV speakers alone.

Bought this for my parents. They needed something that wasn't too complicated to operate while sounding better than the TV speakers. This fits the bill and is a decent value, especially if you catch this on sale. It is a little bass shy, but I think it has more to do with the room layout and size, but definitely something to keep in mind. Dialogue comes in nicely. For my parents, it was more than enough and they commented on how much better it sounded than before.

Excellent sound! It's like being in a theater. The base moves items around on the shelf above it.

So I was so tired of watching shows like American Pickers and the background music would be so loud that I couldn't hear what the people were saying. This sound bar has remedied that. I disabled my tv's speakers and only use this sound bar now. Sometimes it seems like you can hear sound from across the room, like its' surround sound. I'm very impressed with the sound quality of this thing. Glad I bought it!

Set up with same brand tv and just turn it on and all connected without me doing anything . Good sound at a great price

This is a decent sound bar for the price. It is easy to use. Bluetooth syncs to your tv so there's no wires

Awesome sound, easy to set up and navigate through. Only negative is the subwoofer makes a knocking sound.

Sound quality is great. Subwoofer can be placed anywhere. This is a good addition to any tv.
