Bought this set up this year to upgrade my 1 year old holiday version flat screen. You know the ones, cheap with horrible sound, but large & 4K. I debated & researched many sound bars before ultimately deciding on this unit. For the value, I believe it provides a great upgrade for the tv I mentioned and with BT and an adequately powered sub I love the addition. The sound when watching movies or long form Netflix shows is great. The unit is quick and easy to set up and very clean & nice looking. I do plan now to add the additional satellite speaker kit to get the full 5.1 surround sound aspect, but I’m in no rush. I love the unit as is and if you’re like me and looking for an upgrade, this is a great unit. My final choices came down to the Bose Solo 5 single bar or this version & I have no regrets at all for my decision. I’m sure the next level $5-700 Bose systems are better, but for a value upgrade (trying NOT to spend even more time in front of the television, just maximize the enjoyment experience of when my family does) it’s a great option. Con: only con i’ll give this unit is that I wish the remote & functions could be added to a universal remote to lessen the clutter. But that’s not much of a deal killer to even discuss.

This sound bar is best I seen for price point. I travel for work and I wanted something for my work apartment that was comparable to what I had at home. Being that I am in an apartment I couldn’t go all out, this Samsung unit is great. Prefect sound, your not gonna rattle the walls or shake your chair like the movie theater but for the price of 4 large drinks, two large pop corns, various candies, hot dogs, and movie tickets you can buy yourself this unit and stay home and watch movies and enjoy the sound

I purchased this soundbar with the intent to mount it below my TV. To accomplish this I also purchased this Rocketfish soundbar mount - https://www.bestbuy.com/site/rocketfish-soundbar-mount-black/8870244.p?skuId=8870244. (Model: RF-SBM101SKU: 8870244) On its face this soundbar isn't exactly compatible with tv soundbar mounts due to the mounting point being below the bar instead of on the back of it, and instead you're encouraged to use the included direct wall mount. For some people like me this wasn't an option due to how my walls are. To mount the soundbar I used the included brackets and hardware but instead of screwing it into the wall I used 5mm bolts and washers/nuts to connect the mount and soundbar hardware. This is a sturdy clean way to get the TV and Soundbar setup. The soundbar itself is good, the bass is what I'd expect from a soundbar and pairing was a breeze.

This Sony soundbar was my 2nd attempt to get quality sound for my new TV and I finally found it here. I also added the two rear speakers to create 5.1 Surround Sound. They were very easy to set-up and the sound is incredible. Although a little pricey, it is well worth it. You can differentiate between News, Cinema, Music, Sports, Standard and Voice and there really is a significant difference. I love Sony!!!

I've always been a bit hard of hearing, which has lead to the wife and kids constantly telling me to turn the TV down or to shut the door to the den when I'm watching an action movie to TV Show. I wasn't going to buy the sound bar, but it was bundled with the TV, and the reviews and salespeople in the store told me that because the speakers were in the back of all the new sets, I should consider the sound bar or it all through a sound system (which I don't have). The cost when they bundled it wasn't bad so I dove in and made the purchase and am so pleased. Because the sound is projecting forward there is very little leakage up stairs (since the speakers face away from the door), so I don't have to close the door. Because of the middle channel the voices project through the background noise of the rest of the scene and I find that I have to go back about 90% less to figure out what someone on the TV actually said! The sound quality is so good that there have been times that "in scene" sounds have actually been so clear that I had to rewind to make sure it was the show and not someone knocking at the door or in the house.

This was perfect for what we wanted to get out of a soundbar and it paired very easily with our TV with no issues. It actually sits right in front of our TV and it sounds amazing. Especially for instance, when you are watching a movie which makes it sound like you are in a movir theater. You cannot go wrong buying this particular soundbar for that extra added sound for your TV.

This 3.1 surround sound is fantastic. I personally have a hard time hearing speaking in movies and TV shows so I have always just spent the entire time turning up and down the TV, but that is no longer a problem with this soundbar. It is amazingly helpful, and the sound quality is outstanding. The subwoofer is quite loud, so I would not suggest it if you happen to live above someone else.

Purchased to go with our new Samsung 65" tv (NU8000). The new thin tv's have very poor sound quality. This greatly improved the sound experience. The bar is under the tv on the stand and projects the sound out to you. You can hear the talking much better than the original tv speakers. It could use more bass at low volumes, however bass is very good at mid volumes.

Set up was quick, price was fair and sound quality is nice

I bought this shortly before Christmas when it was on sale. It was an easy setup (including the wireless rear speakers that I bought separately) and the sound quality was great. I am a little disappointed with the sound quality of the subwoofer. I was hoping for a bit more bass. Overall, though, I think this sound bar system is great.

I always wanted better sound out of my TV. Merry Christmas to me (and all in the house) as I got my Samsung sound bar on Black Friday. Easy to connect and set up. The sound is awesome for anything on TV. For a special bonus, the sound bar has Bluetooth and can play my music library as good (or better) than my stereo.

Purchased this for my younger brother for Christmas after visiting his house and being 100% unenthused by his sound set up. Because his living room is large, his TV sits quite far away from his couches and playing video games and watching movies with a loud 2-year old was insanely hard to do. He opened this on Christmas Day, set it up immediately, and we were able to enjoy playing video games AND hearing what was going on while the whole family was talking around us. I originally went in for the JBL version of this, but the staff at Best Buy guided me this way for something that was more in my price range with the same general quality of what I intended on buying. Solid purchase.

I purchased a new 55" QLED TV and could not hear the sound with the volume turned all the way up. They do not put any kind of sound quality in these very thin TV's. I purchased this sound bar with sub box and and now I can actually hear the sound! The sound quality is excellent.

The Best Buy Sales Associate recommended this model. We could not be happier with the sound quality. The set up was as easy as the Associate said it would be. Whether it's music or TV Audio the output is excellent. I highly recommend this System and Best Buy.

The sound bar has good sound and installation was painless. The problem though is that the remote which came with the sound bar did not work properly, and after a number of man hours trying to fix the problem, we finally got the dealer to exchange the remote.
