    I'm disappointed in the sound bars ability to provide clear dialog. I've tried using the clear audio seeing on my TV and dialog mode, but I still need to turn the system up pretty high to hear clear dialog on most movies.

      Please check the connection between the Soundbar and other source devices, and try the following tips that may help improve the volume level.

      1. Check the source volume. For example, if connected to a mobile phone using Bluetooth, increase the volume on the mobile phone.
      2. If the Soundbar is connected to a TV thru HDMI, make sure to use the HDMI-ARC jack on the TV and select “External speakers” as the TV sound output.
      3. Then check the TV for the audio output format sent to the Soundbar. Typical options are PCM, Dolby Digital, and Bitstream. Select the option that optimizes the sound from your source.
      4. Change the SOUND MODE on the Soundbar by using the Soundbar’s remote. Select the appropriate mode for the individual room acoustics.
      5. Turn on Dynamic Range Control. This is done by pressing and holding the SOUND MODE button on the remote control while the Soundbar is in standby mode.

    I purchased this unit due to the great price but was not happy with the overall sound quality. I went with the larger 7" unit that comes with a dedicated voice channel so that you could actually hear people speaking on TV.

    I tried the sound bar with one of my TVs which is 3-4 years old. Did not work well. Bought a new TV from your store and hook up the sound bar. Would not work at all. It is currently just sitting on a shelf under the TV.

    The instructions for setup were no as clear as I would like. I successfully got the unit functioning by trial and error, but I am still not sure that I have maximized the device' capabilities.

    First off the pros: very well built, very nice looking and very easy to get hooked up and on. The Bluetooth feature is great for connecting a cell phone and playing music. I absolutely love the quality of all things Samsung. Cons: the sound output is just not that good. I replaced an older Samsung unit with this and it will be fine for a spare bedroom or my in-laws room but it is not suitable to match with a quality TV in a common area of your home. I do not recommend this but I am still a HUGE fan of Samsung and will continue to buy their products!

    This was “recommended” for our tv purchase. The instructions were a little confusing. The quality is average at best, so may be upgrading this in the future. It isn’t overly user friendly.

    I bought this sound bar thinking is would be good but it's not really that loud I had a polk audio that was 150 bucks that sounds better then this

    This sound bar was a disappointment. Improvement by my account was only fair. Not really worth the money. Kinda wish we'd have pushed it out with a component stereo system.

    I had trouble getting sound bar and tv to work together and I couldn’t get any help from Samsung or store without an outrageous charge. Lucky I have a friend that got it working!

    I like it, but it is not the easiest product to figure out. We are still having trouble turning the volume up on the Subwoofer.

    This sounds better than what your TV speakers put out, but I never was satisfied with final result. Sounded almost tinny, or echoy in my house.

    In-home sound quality very disappointing

    Just purchased and in use a few days. When I first listened to these speakers in-store, they sounded very decent. Good balance of highs and lows. Sub was able to perform well without bottoming out. Got it home and it is really bad. Sound seemed to not emulate from or sync with the TV as if it was a small speaker setup on the side. Note that the sound bar is connected using the optical cable. The sub had no punch. It’s like I have no sub at all. Frequency is on the high side so you could hear where it was placed. You could hear it bottom out and rattle at low volume. I am baffled as to how it’s sound is so far off from how it performed in-store. I tried various placements in the living room to no avail.

    I had high hopes for this sounds bar, however the sound is a bit hollow and narrow. It doesn't compare to a similarly priced Samsung sound bar purchased from Costco.

    I did not like this soundbar because it does not have any sound effects like dtx or any kind of sound enhancement.This is just an amplified speaker that is all to it.

    Strange and random change in volume

    This is not the quality of my klipsch sound bar, but it can be controlled from my direct controller. I think it will be OK after i get use to the different sound.

    I originally bought this soundbar for my family room TV, but was not really blown away by the sound. I upgraded to the 5.1 version and was much happier with the sound.
