Sounds better in store

don't do online open box/ missing accessories

I picked the excellent condition option because BB promised it had all the accessories. Well, it's missing a remote, optical cord and wall mounting brackets. I went to a store, they said they couldn't help because it was an online purchase. When I called to discuss BB rep said she didnt know which dept to transfer my call because I wanted the accessories as promised, and after 10 min on hold transferred me to a dept who just hung up the phone. I'm an elite rewards member too. Horrible way to treat someone

Poor quality for Samsung product

I called Samsung support they walked me through the reset and made sure setting were correct but still poor quality. I boxed it up sent it back for refund. Very disappointed. It was hooked up correctly but it was poor quality unit.

Didn’t have the bass I was wanting

Major disappoitment

Geek Squad installed it and nothing is right. When the TV turns on the sound bar does not. Often the sound bar turns on by itself. Worse is the voice sync. The voices do not match at all the lips moving on TV screen. Geek squad has been out twice but still the same. Three other TVs in the house without sound bars all running off the same Xfinity service do not have the problem.

Subwoofer needs to be larger.

Please check the connection between the Soundbar and other source devices, and try the following tips that may help improve the volume level.
1. Check the source volume. For example, if connected to a mobile phone using Bluetooth, increase the volume on the mobile phone.
2. If the Soundbar is connected to a TV thru HDMI, make sure to use the HDMI-ARC jack on the TV and select “External speakers” as the TV sound output.
3. Then check the TV for the audio output format sent to the Soundbar. Typical options are PCM, Dolby Digital, and Bitstream. Select the option that optimizes the sound from your source.
4. Change the SOUND MODE on the Soundbar by using the Soundbar’s remote. Select the appropriate mode for the individual room acoustics.
5. Turn on Dynamic Range Control. This is done by pressing and holding the SOUND MODE button on the remote control while the Soundbar is in standby mode.

Sub sucks don't buy

Thank you for your review of the Samsung Audio Soundbar. I am sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the bass sound quality.
Please know that the HW-N550 has a dedicated Subwoofer level control on your remote.
The button is labeled “WOOFER”, and is located to the right of the Volume button.
Push the button up or down to adjust the volume of the subwoofer to -12, or -6 to +6.
Pressing the button will revert the subwoofer volume to level 0.

Horrible soundbar

Have spoken to Geek Squad, told to bring over to store. We are disabled, and is hard to get around, so we are stuck with a terrible sounding bar. If I could give NO stars, I would.
