    There was a known problem according to Samsung, they are only offering me 149.00 refund. Piece of crap. Waiting to see if Samsung will replace system. More to follow.

    We had this for less than a year and some of the speakers in the soundbar stopped working. We had to throw it away will never buy another Samsung Soundbar again!

    Hook up sound bar to Samsung tv and didn't work. Called customer service and went though the motions. I told them remote and sub woofer not working. It did work for 2 days. Bought a LG

    This was a huge disappointment the base sounded ok in store where staged but in a home it’s garbage no base at all do not Buy this cause u will just return it like I did.

    Not smart to buy open box

    Hard to tell the value of the product because it was open box. It worked correctly for a few days and now is not dependable. I will return it for a new same product.

    Improvement from the HW450

    First i bought the HW450 (next model down which is the mid-range). I set it up with my TCL and was a good improvement. It went about 10% louder, had about 30% more depth, and improved the clarity slightly. Also added noticeable bass. However, my gripe with it was that voices sounded unnatural. Could have been louder (sometimes i had it all the way up. Could i have lived with it? definitely, but felt i would have regretted it later on. Picked up the 550. Only 20w difference, same sub. BIG difference. It goes about 20% louder but is much clearer when people are talking and sounds completely natural. Therefore, i have the volume about 50% where i had the 450 most of the time. Bass is the same since it has the same sub, but everything seems deeper, louder, clearer. Also, i listened to this die by side against other more expensive soundbars from JBL and Klipsch. I'm not a Sansung loyalist. Having said that, the 450 was inferior but the 550 was superior.

    this sound bar is extremely hard to connect. Save your money and get on that is much easier to connect

    Not a good purchase for me. The sound is not strong. I expected more out of the wolfer. Very weak sound and just not worth the money spent.

    It was very confusing to set up so I never had a chance to hear the sound. I exchanged it with a Bose sound bar and it works great

    i didnt get to use the soundbar because when i hooked it up the woofer did not work i had to bring it back to the store

    My 25 year old Panasonic sterio hooked up through the AUX jack sounds better than this $300+ sound bar and bass!!!

    Very difficult to navigate the remote; sound is no louder than the tv sound. Bass is annoying.

      2. Check the audio output format sent to the Soundbar. Typical options are PCM, Dolby Digital, and Bitstream. Select the option that optimizes the sound from your source.
      3. Change the SOUND MODE on the Soundbar using the Soundbar’s remote. Choices are STANDARD, MUSIC, CLEAR VOICE, SPORTS, or MOVIE. Select the appropriate mode for the individual room acoustics.

    I am a diehard Samsung fan so picking this over the competition was an obvious choice. I had a budget to work with as well. The sound quality is a huge upgrade over my previous speaker/subwoofer setup. Makes my room feel like a mini movie theater. I also got the add on surround sound speakers and would recommend. They werent expensive and really made the difference. Throughly impressed. I think the negative reviews are people who clicked the wrong product...
