Fantastic sound & have it paired with our 60" Samsung TV. The Subwoofer gives out some great bass to really provide some oomph to TV shows & movies! Didn't give it a 5 star as every so often the sound doesn't pair with the TV wirelessly but I plan to install the digital optical cable to solve that.

Good sound quality, but bad design. Its difficult to set up and the placement for wires is sideways in my opinon making the bar sit off center unless mounted.

I bought this to improve the tv sound and play music through the house (I also have Samsung wireless speakers) the system setup is easy, the sound is good, and the app control is fine for a tablet or phone. Since I work at home, I am always at my desktop, the app on a Windows 10 desktop is unbearable. The app on the phone/tablet is fine. I had issues with my wireless that did not show up on anything until I plugged these speaker into it... constantly dropped the wifi n the middle of jamming to the music! I have a new router ordered, hope that fixes that issue.

Soundbar quality excellent. Doesn't stay connected at all times. The app required for surround sound needs work. Overall very happy with purchase especially for the price. I can always re-setup the surround - that's easy, just inconvenient at times.

I went to Frys to find some movies, but found that there was Bose sound bar on display. I did not pay much attention to the sound bar since I already have small home theater system and OLED C6, which has good internal speaker. But when I pushed the play button for testing, I could tell it was really different, and how poor my small home theater system and C6 internal speaker were. But Bose sound bar is too expensive ($700), so I started the research and got into this one from reviewers link. The original price of this Samsung one is around $500, but this is clearance item with $300 including tax. All reviews were all good, and decided to buy this one.
Once connected to my C6, initially I could not tell the difference much, but when I switched buttons between my existing home theater, internal speakers, and this sound bar, then I could tell the difference. It is REALLY different.
I chose "This is It" bluray and watched it again, it made a really new and totally different experience. This is one good investment, I should have bought it earlier and enjoyed it. Now I can have good picture from OLED TV and wonderful sound from this sound bar. Really happy to have them both.

I specifically chose this model because it was 3.1, meaning it had a dedicated center channel. Sound editing in certain 'modern' tv shows is terrible with regard to dialog levels. There are a few actors who take soft-spoken mumbling to whole new dimensions.
It sounds great, better than you'd expect from the price. The sub-woofer is 'wireless' which is a plus. Overall, I'm very pleased with it.

The soundbar provides good sound quality, and hookup is easy either by utilizing the wireless capability or by using an optical cable. I found that the normal settings made the sound seem a little "tinny". I addressed this by adjusting the bass and treble levels, along with the subwoofer level, to provide the balance that i sought. The soundbar sounds ok at higher volume levels, but it doesn't sound great. All in all, I am happy with the device, but I expected a little more for the money that I spent.

Great sound comes out of this system. It gets the job done plenty fine in my opinion. Good for music, movies, standard tv.
I kind of wish this had USB connection. I originally wanted it for playing iTunes but this offeres everything but iTunes so i play my ipod from it via aux cable since no usb port. Old school i guess but i like my music in my specific playlist n my specific order. For casual listening via streaming its great. I watch 3d movies and i do feel the layers of sound when i watch movies or regular tv. I wasnt looking for anything epic when i made this purchase but i find it meets to exceeds my expectations.
You can also get rear wireless or multiroom speakers with this model which i did do and i am pleased at how i can set up speakers anywhere and even play dofferent music from different speakers via the multiroom app or network all speakers for surround sound at the touch of a button. This versarility is a huge plus.
My only gripe: i dont know if i can lay this on the system or on its interaction with my wireless network but every so often the connection drops or wakes back up or somerhing and you hear the pinging noises comin from the speaker like a new connection has just been made. Annoys me at times, esp if volume is high.

I was looking for a Soundbar that would work well with my new TV. I tried Vizio and LG first but both of them would periodically disconnect from my TV and force me to go through a 2 minute process of hoping it would start working again. I finally went back and picked up this one and it automatically connected with my Samsung TV and is used as an extension of my TV's speakers. It was a very simple process to setup and automatically connects every time I turn on my TV and NEVER disconnects. The Bass could be a little better but still has a nice crisp sound.

This 3.1 soundbar is fantastic. The sound is crisp, I recommend sticking with a 3.1 soundbar as the central speakers are designated for dialogue during tv/movies. Just gives a clearer sound for voices. The connectivity is great, easily link to tv, then easy wireless linking to the subwoofer and any additional speakers if you want. You can access the soundbar thru wifi or even Bluetooth, and you can designate each additional speaker with different music! So if you have a party you can play different music in different rooms! I think new soundbars nowadays do this, but I can tel you the functionality with Samsung is pretty nice. For this price-point it's a great buy. For the record I have a Sony Bravia 4K tv and there was no problem getting it to work with this Samsung soundbar.

I purchased this sound bar for the season premier of Walking Dead. The sound bar is really clear, but I feel the sub is a little lacking. When Negan hit 'em in the head... I didn't feel the "thud" from the subwoofer like I hoped I would have.

Quarterpastgone:
Thank you for purchasing the Samsung K650 Soundbar.
By default, power ON by the TV is set to off. You have to press the "Bluetooth POWER" button on the remote to turn the feature on. The Bluetooth POWER On function is available after you have successfully connected the Soundbar to a Bluetooth compatible TV using TV SoundConnect. When the Bluetooth POWER On function is ON, turning the connected TV on or off will turn the Soundbar's power on and off as well.
Please refer to the diagram drawing of the remote in your User Manual (page 9 "REMOTE CONTROL"). Then refer to pages 22 and 28 for further details.

Very happy with this sound bar, but I got it for 70% off :) WiFi, Bluetooth, and HDMI passthrough. The best part is simply removing my huge old ugly amp and all the wires!

The sound bar compliments the Samsung TV line very well. It will turn on and off with the TV (once you set it up...). It comes with a TOS cable but I usually connect via wifi (for streaming music or for TV).
Negative: the text display panel is off center... so use other "guides" to center the speaker. The speaker sometimes does not connect to the TV if rapidly turned on and off. Also, the speaker will remember it is in 'night' mode despite having another device connected to it - which takes a few seconds to disable if desired.

The bar and sub has good sound. It does not have as good of a sound as my stereo but it is small and compact. My biggest issue with the sound bar is synchronization of the sound. The sound gets off with the video all the time. It is really annoying. I have tried both the wifi connection for the sound and the optical cable to the TV output. It does not matter. My old 5.1 channel stereo never got off with the video. I also purchased two wifi speakers to pair with the system for surround. The speakers are paired together via an app from Samsung. They always seem to unpair.
The bottom line is I can not recommend this system. Find another one.

HW-K650
The soundbar came with all the cables needed to set it up to the TV via the optical cable.
Pros:
- One sixth the cost of the Sonos system.
- I was able to pair it to my phone with no problems.
- System automatically connected to the subwoofer that was included.
- Sound volume was loud enough to bring the movie to life.
Cons:
- Display is hard to read from across the room.
- Remote is infrared rather than blutooth.
- Does not pair with any blutooth speakers other than Samsung.
- Manual did not indicate removing the plastic cover on the optical cable.
