I wish the response from the knob to the the cook top was a bit more accurate on the response. What I'm trying to say is that you turn the knob and your get a response 1-2 sec later. I just it was closer to real time

Looks sleek. Induction does what is should but layout of burners is awkward, knob is basically useless, and I find the simmer feature is not effective at all. In addition adjusting the heat level is very touchy. I'm actually disappointed and wish I had chosen a different induction cooktop.

Have been using the Samsung 30" Induction Cooktop for 2 months and love the technology. The cooktop itself gleams beautifully when polished. Heating elements are spontaneous. I especially like the multiple units on the left side that can utilize oblong shapes. The virtual flame that shines onto my new stainless steel cookware is an added aesthetic experience.

Finally took the dive and purchased a Samsung Induction Cooktop. A little pricey, but this cooktop can be monitored via wifi using the Smart Things App. Beautifully crafted and you can't burn yourself or even a sheet of paper. Only thing is you will need to update your cook to iron or steel. I was in the process of doing it anyway and got a new cookware set to go along with the new cooktop.
Thank you for highlighting the wonderful features of this cooktop, Macs. We are happy to hear that you're enjoying this cook top. ^Lo

This cooktop has been a nightmare. Purchased new October 2021. Installed in December (when Kitchen remodel was finished). It never worked. Calls to Samsung to honor the warranty were a nightmare of computer menus and repeating the same story to multiple people. First service came on Feb 3. Samsung had sent only two pieces instead of four. Repair unsuccesful. Second service (different person) on Feb 10. Samsung had sent two more pieces (instead of 3, because apparently five needed to be replaced) and one was for a refrigerator !!! Replaced the one, cooktop still did not work. Repairman said cooktop was not fixable and was going to put it in his notes. Samsung still wanted a third tech visit. Then started the nightmare of calls between Samsung and the Tech company. On Feb 15 Samsung finally agreed to refund or replace, but I was told it would have to be done through BestBuy where I bought it. On Feb 16, received an email confirming the "in store exchange". One full week later and I still do not have a functioning cooktop. Just hanged up with Samsung who is telling me I have to contact BestBuy.... Infuriating does not begin to describe this experience.
To better assist you with this issue, please contact the Best buy customer service department at P. (888) 237-8289 Call any day between H.24 Hours a Day, they can either answer your question or transfer you to your local store to answer your specific concern.

We are so happy It has tremendous security, because if you don't put the induction utensils on it, it doesn't heat up, it's super fast like magic.

We really like induction and this range does an excellent job in delivering almost infinitely variable power from very low to crazy high.
Burner arrangement & flexibility is great. Cleaning and care is easy and the black too always looks new after cleaning.
Our only complaint is the touch control system. Unpredictable response to touch and a rare, mysterious “crash” requiring cycling the breaker. Still sold on the in total but control needs to be improved.

Easy install and works great so far. We were a little worried because the box had some damage, but all was well.

Great for boiling large pots of water for pasta, crabs and lobsters. Pans hot almost instantly so cooking takes less time. Fried eggs are ready by time the toast is. Low heat easier than electric to keep things warm.

This cooktop cooks fantastic. It’s fast, the induction tech is a game changer, it looks great, is flexible and so much more.
The one downside, which I think is true for all capacitive controlled cooktops: is if the cooktop gets wet from a spill, steam, condensation, or anything else, the controls can get finicky or shut off. Which is stressful and hard to manage on time sensitive cooking.
This is deeply annoying, but also feels like a trade off for no knobs.

Our unit stopped working on Christmas Eve after we had it for less than 2 months. Best Buy only allows 15 days for returns on major appliances, which is absurd. They obviously have no care if they sell poorly manufactured products. Samsung warranty is a joke. The repair person calls tech support and is told what parts to order. We have to wait for appointments to be scheduled after parts come in. This is before they will even come to troubleshoot the issue. So, of course, the parts they bring dont fix the issue, so we get to wait for the cycle to start over again. At this point, they have rebuilt the entire range, and it still isn't working. So you would think Samsung would suck it up and replace it. NOPE. They want to reorder every part and have us wait for another appointment and another technician to rebuild the entire range again. So 2 weeks with no working stove in the house after spending 2 grand. Save yourself the trouble and purchase from a store with a reasonable return policy, don't purchase from Samsung. It looks like we will have to get a lawyer to get a replacement or refund. It's not worth the hassel.

Awesome cooktop. So much better than gas. So easy to clean and becomes extension to countertop.

This cooktop is just beautiful. The powerboost is amazing for boiling water quickly. A flaw i have found is if anything (including a drop of water) is on the controls on the cooktop is does all kinds of weird things (makes noises, shuts off, etc) This is not terribly convenient if you are using multiple burners at the same time.

This cooktop replaced an old basic GE electric cooktop, and my wife couldn't be happier. It heats rapidly, yet is much safer. And it looks great in our granite countertop too.
