This refrigerator looks beautiful, but is extremely poor quality. From the very first day the compressor made horrible grinding noises noticed by everyone that came to our house. Within days, the handle on the freezer door cracked and the lettering started wearing off the iwater dispenser. Within a month, the icemaker stopped working completely. After 2 tries, Samsung repaired the icemaker, but it still won't make cubed ice, only crushed. They are supposedly sending out a 3rd repairman to address the problem. Although the fridge is brand new, Samsung refuses to fix the broken handle or replace the worn away water dispenser, saying the problems are not under warranty because they are "cosmetic". This product is very poor quality for the expensive price Samsung is charging.

We got this Fridge on Labor Day for a really good deal because they didn't have the model we wanted in black. The customer service was great during the sale and we had our date for delivery. The delivery guys broke the hinge when they were trying to put the doors back together and we had a "fun" time getting things setup for another one to be delivered. But Best Buy came through with a great delivery team the second time and got it installed and working in no time. This fridge is amazing, and huge. We love the middle drawer and put a lot of stuff in it that is easily accessed by our young children for snacks. We have been eating a lot more fruits and vegetables and we are hoping that this unit will enable us to keep things fresher longer than our old fridge. Also we were loosing things in our old fridge and or they would get near the back and freeze. We haven't had that issue with this unit because of the separate cooling zones. All in all it was a little rough getting it but I know it will be worth it in the long run. P.S. make sure you or the installers read the instructions on the hinges. The second team had to take the hinge of the fridge and rotate the pin in the door to make it work. Very complicated but I guess that come with the territory.

I researched a ton and after taking back the 28.2 CU FT with LCD screen because all the shelves were smaller than normal (beware!), and the screen was a downgrade from the last LCD model, this one was big. The shelves are bigger, the depth is 1" more and taller. It is basic and I love this fridge. No problems with ice maker like others said. Only one issue that does get frustrating, when the fridge cycles on and off to stay cold it does hum louder than i like, and louder than the 28.2 whisper quiet one I replaced. When it is quiet, like at night, you can absolutely hear it. This is my ONLY complaint. It is frustrating...but the space and size is best and price is well worth it on sale.

We purchased this refrigerator January 2014. We paid $2,400 for it. From the beginning, it was noisy and when the fan came on, it made a humming noise that was irritating. 16 months after owning it, the rubber seal literally fell apart at the top of the unit. Best Buy told us to contact Pacific sales. They said the warranty ran out in 1 year and wanted $200 to replace it. Samsung was very cold and agreed that the warranty was up in 1 year. Never had a refrigerator lose a seal in 10 years, let alone 16 months. Would not buy another Samsung from any outlet.

Small improvements to the previous similar model we had, and especially the addition of a 2nd drawer, make the a great refrigerator for those who need a lot of space. Generous door storage makes it easier to find items you use frequently. I do miss the covered butter and separate egg section, though.

Delivery was made by Best Buy and they were great with the delivery. We did miss one problem with the Samsung frig. and it was not noticed until after the delivery. One of the LED lights which is under the left side of the French door was not working. We had to call for repair (of course under warranty) It has taken 3 visits now by repair company. It was the 3rd visit they noticed a broken wire on top of the frig. in the wiring system. Not good. Still not sure what is going to happen. The repair people had never worked on a Samsung Frig. Not good. Beyond this...we are hoping for an answer & easy repair. We love the frig. a lot. There is just so much space and you are able to put large boxes, bowls, etc. in this frig. When you are having a party or if you have a large family this frig. will be perfect. I have several Samsung products. Happy with all of them. This is the first time to have a problem with a Samsung product.

Looks good. Nice design. Good LED lighting. Love the convenience of the middle drawer. Hope to keep it shiny and new.

Fortunately was able to get this fridge for a great price over Memorial Day, so the "value for price" rating may be skewed. Lots of room and nice that the shelves adapt to half size to allow for taller items to fit. Also like the separate middle compartment so you can access things without needing to open the entire fridge. LED lighting is a nice touch. Usually pretty quiet but every now and then is a little noisy. Samsung fridges seemed to be rated well so hope this one lasts!

I love everything about this refrigerator. We use the cold drinks draw and love it because we are able to keep our drinks cold without freezing the other foods. I would buy this again just wish we had waited for the version with the wifi and built in apps. I love the sliding freezer tray so that the quick things we use are easily accesible.

This is a great fridge. A lot of storage space. Well laid out interior and good external controls. It lost a star because of the flex zone. It doesn't get cold enough to be used as a freezer so it mostly an extension of the refrigerator. The temperature only goes down to about 30-31 though it has 29 degree setting option.

I got my new refrigator yesterday. We love it. It's quite No Noise. It worth every penny I spend It give my kitchen a fresh look Kids love the snack section

This refrigerator is absolutely beautiful and will hold everything and more! The ice maker on the other hand is ridiculously bad! It started out pretty slow, and then it completely quit making ice for 2 days. It did begin working again, but is extremely slow. Thank goodness for Best Buy! They are exchanging it for me!!

Bottom hinge (auto closer) on the doors were redesigned for 2013 models to prevent the doors from swinging too far open during normal use and banging into cabinets or whatever is next to the fridge. With the new design, the doors have to be lifted to open them all the way to allow removal of bottom drawers (for cleaning or in our case to get the original plastic wrapping off). After lifting and opening to full open position, when closed they did not return to original position. One hinge ended up broken. After multiple visits from the geek squad, it was determined that the problem is not really repairable (at least not to where they could be confident that it would work repeatedly) so we are replacing the unit with an LG unit. Also, the water dispenser is slllloooowwwww.

This is my second Samsung Fridge. The first one started to accumulate ice under the frizzier... The second one was not any better. Within 2 weeks I got it replaced due to middle drawer not closing properly. 2 weeks later computer panel on the door is frozen. No ice no water.

I love the look of this frig and all the space it provides but the ice maker is terrible. When you dispense ice you often get water in your container before you get the ice. The ice rarely comes out in complete cubes. Usually it will come out in pieces and smaller pieces. If I wanted crushed ice it would be good but it is set on cubed. After dispensing ice you can guarantee that water will leak out requiring it to be wiped up to avoid water spots. Great frig but the icemaker needs improvement. If I could return I would.

Very spacious, I love the adjustable shelves. The the third drawer is just great.

I love my 4 door French door refrigerator. I like the fact that there is lots of room for large plates or bowls. There is more room in the bottom drawer freezer compartment than there was in the side by side refrigerator. It is stylish and looks great. The flex drawer is perfect for keeping deli meats and cheeses or you can choose to keep party platters or wine for a party or dinner for guests.

I LOVE it. It was the one that I had wanted and it fits perfectly for everything I need it to do. The water filter on the unit has been AMAZING and you can totally taste the difference! Love the bright light inside; you can see EVERYTHING. Love the middle drawer; I store the kids cheese sticks, fruit and pudding cups, and it's super handy so they don't have to open up the whole unit to find them.

The refrigerator is either poorly/cheaply made or I received a defective one. Either way, I should have been covered by the Geek Squad protection I purchased. The supports that hold the shelving up that hang in the interior doors has broken on two shelves on one side of the french door. It is flimsy and it appears to be hollow. I called Geek Squad to have a repair technician come to repair it. Geek Squad said they did not service my area so they would be sending out a third party servicer. Shortly after getting off the phone with Geek Squad, I started recieving aggressive text messages from the third party asking for pictures of the problem and a description. I sent them what they asked for. I didn't know they were going to use the pictures I sent them to make assumptions and say that I broke it from overloading the shelves and then refuse to even come out to look at it. There is no way I overloaded the shelves, they are so small! This is a form of manipulation on their part to not service my refrigerator. I called Geek Squad up and they told me there wasn't anything more that they could do and that I would need to contact the store I bought it from because they could do more. Well, I did just that and all they did was contact the third party servicer who made the assumptions and sent the pictures I text to them to the Geek Squad in the store. The store piggybacked on the idea that I broke it so they wouldn't have to deal with it. I am so sick to my stomach. I have a refrigerator less than 5 years old and it has already fallen apart. We are a family of two with no children so it doesnt even get heavily used to begin with. I will not be making anymore purchases through Best Buy and I will certainly not be buying Samsung products in the future. Buyer beware.
