This television gives great picture and noticed it while playing my xbox 360 in HD. The movies I have watched through my LCD screen have been amazing. The contrast feature enabling it to project in certain lights is fantastic and the brightness of the picture is incredible. It was incredibly easy to set up and suprisingly lighter than expected. Although the aufio has slight issues, when hooked up to a stero is sounds much better. My only complaint about this product is that I was unable to affored a bigger Samsung. I recommend this TV to anyone who would like a cheap affordable flat screen with the HD feature. My television and gaming experiences have been enlightened due to this product. Thank-you Samsung.

This is my first HDTV and I am very happy with my purchase. The shiney piano black is very attractive and looks awesome in my room. The picture is excellent, and I couldn't tell a difference between this one and the 32" 1080 Sharp. I came to the conclusion that 1080 isn't necessary on a 32" model, but maybe on the larger sets. This model has everything I ever wanted in an HDTV. The picture is great, the sound is great, it has tons of inputs for different equipment, 3 HDMI's, 2 components. It makes my xbox 360 look amazing. The only thing is that this TV takes awhile to come on.

More than likely if you've done any research on LCD televisions, someone's recommended a Samsung at some point... Now I see why! With LCDs one of this biggest concerns is how accurate the colors are and the overall level of contrast. Let's just say I was impressed with my brother's 42" LG LCD, until I got this. Best Features: PIP (uncommon for this size) Lots of options for inputs Backlight control Color & Clarity - Very sharp! Thinner than a lot of other models Swivel stand Complaints: Horrible speakers. They're brand new and sound distorted like they've been blown-out already.

I just got married and purchased lots of new furnitures and electronics. Among them all, this is the best. I would not hesitate to recommend this to others, because of its quality and reliability. Do a little research if you want to purchase a new lcd hdtv. Samsung lcd tvs are number 1 in the market, unlike ppl usually think. I now understand why samsung lcd tvs are dominating over other companies. Samsung reads current trend. The picture quality is the best. The contrast is outstanding. It's easy to operate. It's easy to connect to pc. Speakers are great.

My family purchased this unit for my ninety year old mother. She may not appreciate all the "bells and whistles" this unit offers, including 720p capability, but she did enjoy watching her Green Bay Packers in the play offs! I pointed out you could nearly read the labels on the players shoes as they stood in the huddle. The set is very easy to setup and configure. The menus are quite easy to navigate even for someone not familiar with Samsung's layout. I have a crt type Samsung and noticed they are consistent in the way they structure their menu setup. The picture is outstanding with incredible detail and good blacks. Also the viewing angle was quite good, with no problem when sitting on each side of the living room. You will appreciate the very light weight when installing the unit or moving it. Also I do know that if the set ever has problems in the future that Samsung LCD sets are among the easiest to repair. I purchased the unit online and picked it up at the store. The whole process was very smooth and the store personnell were courteous and efficient. I even timed them with my stop watch since they would give you ten dollars off if it was over five minutes. They came in at about 3 min. total so I drove away quite satisfied!

The color and sharpness of this tv is excellent! every time I watch it, Im blown away. This tv is a winner. Great picuture, easy set up, lots of inputs. The LED backlighting makes the blacks truly black, and the sharpness and detail is amazing. I'm very please with this tv & performs well...only back side is the blurred motion during fast changing scenes.

I bought this TV back in May of 07, it is used 99% for use in my personal office as a computer monitor. It is awesome. I priced out computer monitors of this size and wow.....just way too much money. It is multi use.... I play all my DVD's , have my PS2 hooked up, cable tv......and ...While on the computer, you can use the PIP to watch TV while doing your thing on the computer. Excellent picture, sound, weight, I have NO problems with this TV/Computer Monitor! Get it on sale......and make yourself happier, take the extra money and buy a HDMI Cable for that extra HD View!

This was the best selection for a 32" LCD TV. I comparison shopped LCD HDTVs for 3 years and narrowed my choices down very deliberately, comparing every option. My final decision was made when I went to 4 different stores and found the best 32" LCD HDTV without looking at the brand or price. Each time I chose the Samsung. When I found a good sale price, I jumped at it. I am thrilled with this TV! Set up was so simple and the picture is incredible. Even my cat is enthralled with the detail and watches every movement on the screen. The only drawback is the remote has a slow response time, but its is not enough to dampen my enthusiasm for this TV. Absolutely no regrets.

I bought an HDTV because I wanted a better Picture on my xbox 360 and to get an HDTV before prices go up in 09' when everything goes digital. I was looking at HDTVs but i didnt have a real big buget but i didnt want a "no name" brand. I saw this TV on the website and loved it. i loved the looks and I loved the 7000: contrast ratio on this compared to the 1200:1 on a Sony. Went to the store to check it out and loved it even more. loved the picture, looks, and how bright it was. and only $899.99. Bought it and my xbox looks great. some of the cable channels dont come in that great but thats on any HDTV. Cant wait until 09 when ill have to get HD cable.

I bought this tv about two months ago and am absolutely loving it thus far! It's a sturdy tv that is easy to mount on a wall or leave on the stand, but not too heavy to handle. For the price it has plenty of options for changing picture quality, adding channels, etc. It also has great contrast and is very quick and responsive when it comes to the picture (important for those that play video games). Only downside is that it is only 720p, but 1080p on a 32" tv is almost overkill anyways. So far, the quality has been great, but if that changes I'll be sure to post again with any issues. Hope this post helps any considering this tv.

Absolute love this TV. I shopped around for a 32 inch LCD for couple months and finally decided on this one. With the 7000:1 contrast and the great price, it was by far the best bang for the buck. After readiong reviews prior to my purchase, I was a little worried about the sound of the TV, but it sounds great and I have not had a single problem with it. My only complaint would be that in 16:9 mode non-HD programing comes in smaller and cropt, but you can easily switch over to 4:3 when watching non-HD channels. Its just a slight inconvienence. Overall great TV!

I purchased this to replace a 27 inch samsung flat screen CRT, and to use in place of my 19 inch samsung lcd monitor. The picture is amazing for my videos from my computer, people often complain about channel surfing is slow i use fios tv so well its slow as dirt anyway, I love the alarm features on this tv as i use my tv for an alarm its great. There is a ton of settings to tinker with if you have something like a datacolor spyder tv, tons of ports and the sounds is pretty nice too. Its no 1080p tv screen though i can tell at times but its nothing i actually would complain about as the thing is blindingly bright if you want it to be and can make you squint if the brightnes is cranked theres a white screen and your walking into the room. zero problems so far though, waiting for my new wireless keyboard and cables to thoroughly hook it up as my 2nd computer monitor (dual monitor action) 10 inch dvi to vga cable and the stereo 3.5mm adapter for sound card to tv which is wonderful that samsung give you the ports for everything instead of making you figger things out on your own, the remote they give you is a universal remote kinda, but i didnt find support for my motorola verizon fios box so i QQed. that is all for 800 bucks well worth it, samsung is the best for a reason and im happy i bought it. PS the samsung 226bw i had previously purchased was a big disapointment but i had read warnings on the panels for that and took a chance thankfully this one lived up to every positive review.

This is a great mid level 32" LCD. Samsung has some of the best LCD sets on the market. Great things on this one include the 3 HDMI inputs, the 7000:1 contrast ratio, the DNIe engine. These all add up to a beautiful picture that anyone could love. This is definately a great set for the first timers that want a great picture and do not want to drop a fortune. The more demanding videophiles would probably want something a little more upscale (probably in the 1080p variety).

Went from westinghouse 32 in HDTV to this one, the math is simple. this one cost 3-400 more, but this one has 7000:1 vs 1200:1 contrast ratio. One simple phrase, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. other less capable tv are nowhere near the clarity and responsiveness of this samsung. Using the samsung upconvert player with this, DVD picture is breataking. The speaker on this tv is loud and clear as one can expect from a TV speaker, that was a compliment by the way~

This is by far the best purchase I have ever made. No buyer’s remorse. The picture quality is excellent, and the sound in great with component cable. I have my DVD player connected with composite cables and the sound is so-so but I have my Satellite box connected with component cables and the sound is incredible. My DVD player and Sat box are only SD and the picture is still great, I can't wait to see what it looks like in HD. If your going to get an HD TV you need to get at least an S-video cable for the picture and at least component for the sound otherwise you won't be getting the best out of your TV. Of coarse HDMI is preferred because it is the best quality picture and sound, with DVI 2nd, component 3rd, S-video 4th, composite 5th and RF Antenna 6th.I also have my computer connected through S-video and the picture is also great. I highly recommend this TV to everyone.

I recently purchased this tv, mainly because I wanted a lightweight tv that was a great quality picture for movies and gaming. So far I have really enjoyed it. The picture is clearer than anything I've had before and I really like the fact that with LCD sunlight doesn't ever play a picture. Overall, I really like this tv, I'm waiting to get the HD addition soon so I can't wait for that.

I finally purchased an HDTV, and Samsung would have been one of the lesser brands I would have thought to buy. But a representative at Best Buy told me about their fantastic picture quality, and I couldnt agree more. What I love best about this tv is the swivel stand, which is not only convenient for when I have people over, but also for when I am hooking things up to it in the back of the tv. I no longer have to move the tv forward, I can just make it swivel. The only thing that could be better is the sound/speakers. I don't have surround sound, which might help, but I live in an apartment where I can really only depend on the tv speakers itself. Don't get me wrong, I can hear the tv perfectly fine, but the Best Buy representative did warn me that Samsung's sound isnt as good as a Sony tv, but the picture is a lot better, and in the end, I think it's the picture that matters most with an HDTV. I am extremely pleased with my purchase! :)

This is my first LCD TV and I simply love it. I bought the Samsung based on them having the best LCDs while Panasonic seems to have the best Plasmas. The picture quality is beautiful even on non digital channels. The black finish is beautiful but can scratch easy. I tried cleaning mine with one of those static dust wipes and it seemed to have scratched my surface in areas. Make sure to use only the cloth given to you in the box. You can control the sound using the EQ setup page but you really don't get any bass response from this unit. Bigger LCD's i've heard had lots of bass response. This has none. The auto channel setup feature did take a long time but it was worth the wait. I started pulling in HD signals. They look wonderful! Just remember. On a 32 inch TV, 720 and 1080 look the same. Don't waste your money on a 1080 version of this TV.

Strengths: Picture is crisp and clear. Easy-to-use interface. Stylish design Weaknesses: PIP could use improvement. Needs larger display numbers on the screen. Summary: First HDTV and I love it. The picture is great. The sound is great when you switch it to the built in surround option. It can also be set to different formats such as std, movies, music, and vocals to enhance your listening preferences. The picture also has the ability to be adjusted to your preferences. Connections are clearly marked and easy to configure. For a little more money than a 'starter HDTV', it is worth buying, knowing you have a quality name to stand behind you. Never owned a Samsung product before, but if the other TVs are anything like this one I will be purchasing another one in the future. This 32 inch LCD is a good buy!

This TV is the perfect size for an apartment/condo sized living room. I love to use the PIP to watch HD shows and play my XBOX at the same time. It's very simple to set up, with all the in/outputs you need. When friends/family come over they always ask about it(and i'm happy to show it off).
