Great Zoom monitor for home office

I’m writing this from a different perspective than most - I wanted a separate setup to have my zoom/Skype /teams calls instead of at my desk. I already had a great camera and PC, but was looking for a monitor that would fit the bill. My space could fit a 32” screen and I didn’t want to go bigger.
After trying an older cheap 1080p which made all colors look washed out I bought this TV. I’m not using any of the smart features and turned off all the processing. My PC can only display 4K @ 30Hz but I’m not gaming so it’s fine.
Colors are true and the screen looks great. Speakers are adequate.
Setup was easy. The price wasn’t cheap, but this is the only 32” 4K TV out there, and a decent equivalent dedicated monitor would cost the same or more.

Pros:
+ The 4 K HDR display looks fabulous; wide range of colors in dynamic mode.
~ Reasonable price for a gorgeous display.
~ 3 HDMI input ports; 2 USB ports; 1 Ethernet port; + WiFi & Bluetooth.
~ Can be used as a high resolution 4K computer monitor.
~ According to some professional TV reviews based on using scientific measurement methods of its electronic specifications, not merely opinion, it is the BEST 32 Inch TV available now.
----------------------------
Cons:
- I dislike the menu system; too many steps to change common settings; such as signal source; favorites; close captions;
- the User manual ; too general for many different models with sections on features that aren't available on the model I bought. Not enough illustrations on how to use some features. Some descriptions of a function are confusing and the descriptions don't match with the actual TV screen.
- the "Smart" remote has POOR tactile feedback on direction / select/arrow buttons; too smooth, can't tell by feeling which is up or down / select without looking at it. which is also difficult to do in dim light, since it is all the same black color with no direction or function indicator. The ...Streaming App buttons are too close to the Vol and Channel buttons; sometime causing the accidental pressing of an App button which starts loading that app which I never use, but then I have to go through an annoying time wasting exit button sequence to get back to change the volume ...or channel. also sometimes some buttons don't do anything. Replacing it with a standard Universal remote.
- The included TV stand requires a very wide flat surface which was not available where I needed to put it, and I could not get it to work with a standard VESA mount stand as the mounting screws would not hold the VESA mounting plate securely.
- The voice control function requires online connection to the Bixby server using your required Samsung account and is a privacy invasion risk as it is constantly listening to you. To use the voice text input function and the search function, you must consent to provisions allowing third parties to collect and use your voice data.
- Lack of headphone/ audio out connection.
Overall it is the best 32 inch TV I could find for my current TV needs.

Bought to replace a TV that just quit... in the middle of a good movie, turns out it was a good thing. The picture quality and sound are so much better than the Sony it replaced. And the Smart functions are amazing... don't need the VCR anymore. The stand is quite stable, even the 15# cat couldn't knock it over. (Luchy for him.) The one button control on the TV was a bit wonky to get used to, but I rarely use them anyway. With voice control, I can do most anything I need from the remote. But the remote's buttons are easy to use as well. Try one, I think you'll like it.

Stunning picture and great features worth the price of admission. Easy to use. Apple projection is a great feature. It doubles nicely as a 4K laptop monitor.

This is the best "small" TV to come to market so far. Picture quality is fantastic, the in built speakers are acceptable and it plays well with the rest of the Samsung ecosystem. If you need a modest size TV with a bold viewing experience this unit is for you.

true 4k 32” tv!

I had a difficult time finding an actual TV that is 32” and is 4k that’s not a computer monitor. This not only is 4k but also has great sound for its size and has a nice bright image.
The only true negative is the same negative for all samsung tv’s lack of inputs with only 3 hdmi and one of them being the arc which if i had a sound bar that would be taken up but this is the same with all samsung’s they keep it to minimal inputs.
They could also use more customization in their menus but it’s not a deal breaker at all as presets look great and they have most apps.
I am not a fan of the legs for this tv either but also not a major issue.

I'm relegated to a "small" cubby hole built in entertainment center in the family room. 32" flat screen is the max. The house was built in 1960 and back then a 32" wasn't even a thing.
I had a 10 year old 32" Sony Bravia that died and I figured what the heck if I can't go bigger I'll go fancier. I'm glad I did.
The picture is great, set up was easy...the sound is so-so. The TV came w/o a remote but the Samsung Remote android app took care of that.
I have an older Vizio 2.0 soundbar that I hooked up and the sound is better...just remember to change the setting on the TV to PCM...I'll get a 2.1 soundbar later.
Overall I'm extremely happy with this TV.

Great picture. Great sound, Easy setup. Lots of useful features because of internet connection. Can stream Netflix, Prime, etc without a streaming device. Can mirror from iPhone and Android. Connects via digital audio output or HDMI ARC to home theater system or soundbar for even better sound. I was able to connect a set top box with help from.my cable company to use the cable remote to control the TV. The built in manual is helpful but could use more detailed explanation of complex functions. This is actually a computer with a high end monitor and can do lots of things a computer can do in addition to showing video content.

Who says you don’t need a 32” 4K TV?

It’s about as good as it gets for a 32” TV. All the smart features you expect and built in screen casting receiver so you can use it as a second monitor or mirrored monitor with laptops that support it (MacBook and most newer non-budget Windows laptops) as well as Apple and most newer Android phones.
It makes a nice computer monitor as well, though there are monitors at better price points out there if that is the primary objective. I personally like that I can switch between it being my computer monitor and being my love tv in my office while still allowing me to stream and watch movies in 4K.

Remarkable Picture - Thin Sound

Upgraded a TCL 32" FHD to the Q50 32" 4K TV. Primary use is as computer monitor, secondary use is entertainment (YouTube, DVD, streaming).
Picture: Amazing! Tested with quite a bit of YouTube 4K content. Clear, sharp, and color was right on. Used the 'dynamic' mode vs the standard picture setting. Note: Thru computer display adapter which itself has various settings, so optimum will be setting all parameters. May test directly via Q50 apps at some other time. Display is the reason for this TV, so this is right on!
Sound: Very Thin in both volume and dynamic range. The TCL at 1/4 the price had both better volume and dynamic range. Thus Samsung could have done better on the sound. It is adequate only. Set up is in a 12x12 den, and sound does not fill the room completely. Use headphones mostly when listening to entertainment content so not an issue for me. Will get a simple sound bar to test the sound outputs (<$50, <18" wide; so can set behind the screen).
Controls: Good Enough, phone app is not any better than the included remote, but will play with phone app a bit more later. Like the bottom power/control button so will not have to find the remote. Since connected to PC, only need to turn on; Will set Q50 to max volume and control volume from PC.
Recommended for the picture quality, amazing and remarkable.

A high quality picture in a small TV that fits perfectly in the kitchen. Normal Samsung interface that is easy to use after you become familiar with it. Did have unusual problem finding proper screws for wall mounting ???

I had been eyeing this TV for a long time. With my 4K Blu-ray collection growing and the PS5 dropping soon, I'd thought thos would be perfect for my room.
Thankfully, Best Buy had this as a special Black Friday sale.
And I was not disappointed.
After turning off the eco mode as well as turning on the dynamic mode, I was beyond satisfied with the picture. And lots of streaming apps as well. My brother got me this matching soundbar: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-hw-q70t-3-1-2ch-soundbar-with-dolby-atmos-dtsx-2020-black/6400660.p?skuId=6400660 which was more than TV itself. Great paring.

The cabinet was cracked in shipment but it did not affect the performance of the TV. I contacted BB and they made an adjustment in the price which I felt offset this damage. I am using this TV primarily as a computer monitor. The picture is quite good, however, viewing from even a slight angle is the worst I have ever had on a QLED TV. In addition, the speaker volume is very limited. The Q50 designation obviously is an attempt to reflects it's lowest ranking among all of Samsung's QLED models.
Any other complaints I have revolve around my choice to use it as a computer monitor not a TV so I can't really fault the TV on those points.

Replaced older Samsung 32 inch that failed. Easy set-up, much better sound. Am not noticing an improved picture but the picture on our older 32 inch had been excellent so was not looking to improve that. New feet allow blueray player and apple tv to fit under. Do not like hand-held control as well, but am using another control stick anyway, so that is not an issue. None of our other older Samsung tv.s have failed, so hoping for good duriblity with this one.

I came across this TV while looking for a good-size TV for my apartment, and I found this TV along the way. It has all the bells and whistles you'd expect from a larger-size 4K TV, and I have been impressed with all its features so far. The extra channels are also a plus. It is a right size TV... er, a good size TV, for a small room or apartment, or for one who has no room or desire for a bigger screen (40 inches and up) TV. This TV is worth it, especially if you are looking for high quality in a little TV.

Best 32" TV. Colors are deep and nice. 4K so works great as a monitor too. Little pricy compared to others.
