Either shipped broken or broke trying to remove from plastic. IF the plastic bag is stronger than the tabs used to attach/hold up your $300+ monitor you should start asking yourself HONEST questions about the internal components that really matter...if they can't dedicate an extra 50cents-dollar to make a better stand. And good luck getting this part. The manual makes no reference to a part number. A part that probably costs samsung 40cents or less off the line.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung - UJ59 Series U32J590UQN 32" Monitor (U32J590). I am sorry that you were not aware that this model does not come with built-in speakers.
This monitor does come with audio/headphone output so you can connect your own speakers.
