This was Not the Best Buy. I purchased an open box and it arrived without any of the cables. Customer service was unable to help. I will have to return this item. Do Not Buy Open Box Purchases.

Line of pixels went out on screen after only 4 months

Nice monitor but no sound. Tested it on 2 dofferent laptops and 3 different HDMI cables.

All in all, a very good monitor and excellent for gaming and watching video. The display was easy to assemble and came with all of the cables that I needed including an HDMI and a display port cable. Cable connector insertion in the back did require very straight alignment to get them to seat, so I'd suggest having the display nearer the front of the table or deck that you are setting it on when you plug them in - plugging them in when it is set back (like I did for the HDMI 1 and 2) will mean pulling it back toward you again to maneuver them in. If you have rear access to the monitor at your station or desk, then no worries. Menu access is via a set of buttons arranged in a ring in the bottom edge of the display frame and you will have to sort out where the button you want is at. This probably isn't an issue after initial setup as most display settings you'll want mange can be handled through your PC. The graphics and the responsiveness when streaming or gaming is top notch from what I observed. Very vivid color and fluid motion when using display port and with the sync function turned on. I was very impressed with the display - I would say you may want to put it on a stand if you find yourself leaning in or craning your neck as the stand is a bit low and not adjustable.

I was anxious to unpack this monitor the second I received it. This is a wide screen monitor with some amazing functionality! Colors and contrast is awesome! I had no trouble using the monitor as a split screen with a little tweaking. Unboxing and setup was nondescript, power cable attachment and screw in the base and your done! I view and play quite a bit of music videos and all in all I was very impressed with this product. True to life colors and good response times from this unit. I also ran some of my games on this monitor and results were pure and as realistic as my other higher priced monitors but not at extreme settings! The monitor has a decent but not stellar refresh rate of 100Hz which in my scenarios was perfect. It has FreeSync which is a plus and has 2 HDMI ports. All of this adds up to a perfect budget monitor! For its price point, I have no real complaints at all. This is an awesome monitor, has beautiful colors and is a most welcomed edition in my home. I’m definitely recommending this product.

Not a good resolution…..specifically with small font

Overview: This Samsung 34” ultra-wide screen monitor is a very nice-looking monitor. The thin bezel, simple stand and thin design gives it a contemporary look. You couldn’t tell from looking at it that it’s priced under $400. It even includes features you’d expect from higher priced monitors such as FreeSync for gaming, Picture in/by Picture mode, and auto ambient light detection. Unboxing and Setup: The setup was very easy, a HDMI and DisplayPort cables are included. My laptop doesn’t have either of these ports, so I had to use a USB-C hub that has HDMI ports on it. There are 2 things I wish the monitor had, 1. an adjustable (or a taller stand) and 2. a USB-C input source that can power my laptop at the same time. The lower edge of the monitor sits at 3.5” from the desk. I use this monitor as an extension of my 15” laptop which has a 9” tall screen. So unless I use a desk mounted arm for this monitor, it’s partially blocked. The monitor I had been using with my laptop, a Samsung curved) has a USC-C port for video in and also provides power thus eliminating the need for the laptop power supply and less wires. Performance and Specifications: In my tests, the monitor performed flawlessly. I used it mainly for office applications, web surfing, YouTube videos, and movies. I also play a few games on it without any issues. In the morning, my home office gets a lot of light from the windows. I didn’t have any issues with the monitor brightness. Here’s a tip on moving your applications around, using the shortcut Windows+<> (left of right arrow key), you can move your application windows easily without needing to manually drag and resize. Also try Windows+up/down arrow to resize into quarters. Conclusion: There’s a lot to like about this monitor with a few minor drawbacks as described. Before this monitor, I was using a Samsung curved monitor and got used to that. At 34”, I prefer the curve over the flat monitor. But this is an excellent monitor overall.

Bought this monitor on sale to replace my old LG IPS monitor. I use it mainly for work but may also be good for a budget gaming setup. Being such a wide screen, a curved display may have been better for viewing.

Monitor is perfect size for having multiple windows open while working from home. Resolution is great, no lag at all, and aside from the width, it doesn’t take up too much space on the desk at all. Very happy with this purchase.

I have never used an Ultra widescreen monitor before, but it is very nice to have all the extra desktop to have multiple things open at a time. I work from home and had been using a 22” monitor along with my laptop screen. That was working ok for me, but having the extra wide screen is really a plus. I can have basically two documents open at the same time on this monitor. Setting it up out of the box was a little bit of a challenge. It is not as easy as plug in the HDMI cable and go to settings and detect your monitor. At first it would just project my laptop screen. My laptop only has an HDMI output, so I used one of the 2 HDMI inputs on the display. It also has a display port input. After going through the settings on the monitor I was able to figure out the correct setting for my laptop to recognize the display. I can now go back to work and it recognizes my two monitors at work and still recognizes my single wide monitor at home. This monitor is not quite as vibrant as my laptop. It is sharp enough, but the colors just aren’t quite as nice. Maybe if I adjusted the color settings it might be better, but I only set the resolution. Overall I would recommend this widescreen display if you are looking for more work space.

Perfect size for splitting your screen!! Clear and easy to use

Samsung - 34" ViewFinity S50GC Ultra-WQHD 100Hz AMD FreeSync Monitor This monitor was packaged really securely and well! It was an easy set up out of the box too – only needed a screwdriver to attach the stand. It also comes with a removable panel on the back to mount it on a wall. Along with this beautiful 34” ultra-wide monitor, you get 2 HDMI cables, power cord, and limited paper instructions. It is pretty simple to get this all set up on your own though. The back of the TV is where the ports are: the power port, 2 HDMI’s, DP, and headset area are all together. There is a 5-way circular button on the under area of the monitor for power and on-screen functions. I am not a fan of this and find it a little awkward to use – just my preference. There is also a rubber piece on the back of the stand to help with keeping the cords managed – nice touch! This connected easily to my laptop and works great for projecting 2 screens onto one area! I have nothing to compare this really nice size monitor to but have to say that I really enjoy the size and clarity of it so far. The screen is a very nice size and has minimal bezel making for more picture availability on the screen. The brightness automatically adjusts as well – to the lighting of the room. I don’t really need to use the headset option yet but it is a great added feature to have. All in all, I would say this is a great sized monitor with many nice picture features for this price.

The good: I was interested in this monitor because of its Ultra-wide resolution. In that manner the monitor does not disappoint. The 3440 horizontal resolution is almost as wide as two standard 1080P monitors. Using Windows 11 I am able to dock two side by side browser windows and they were a perfect size. The monitor has two HDMI ports and a Display Port, so you have the ability connect multiple devices to the monitor with ease. There is also a headphone jack that allows you to listen to sound that is redirected through the input port. Unfortunately there are some things that I am disappointed with in this monitor: For one it was not that bright. Being that it is an HDR monitor, I thought it would be pretty bright. When I adjusted the settings, I could never get it so the color pops. The second issue Is that I am not able to use the advertised 100Hz refresh rate on the monitor. I have tried with two laptops connected to the HDMI port, using the included cable, and I was only able to go up to 60Hz. (I have another 3840x1600 monitor at home and that one supports 75hz with the same laptop) While having a headphone jack is nice, I am not a fan of the placement in the back of the monitor. It would be pretty awkward to have to plug headphones in and out on a regular basis. Overall the monitor is decent, but I think you can find a better alternative.

Great product perfect size . Easy setup and good color

So far a great monitor at this price-point. This is a VA monitor and as such, extremely bright with deep dark blacks and crisp colors. The monitor size & 110PPI resolution allow me to view 4-laptop-sized windows simultaneously with extreme clarity on both Windows and Macs. Samsung has done a good job here balancing build quality and affordability.

Monitor was easy to setup and pickup, the quality is fantastic, love the monitor and the graphics, very easy on the eyes.

It is a good, wide screen that you don't need a second screen if you use it your daily office tasks. However, sometimes the resolution seems odd, and you need to adjust you distance from the screen in order to use it in full efficient way.
