    Sharpie Marker Marks?

After 3 weeks we are happy with this purchase. I absolutely love the light up knobs, however there is no hot surface indicator light. I wish I would have noticed this prior to purchase. That is an extremely important feature when you have kids. Also I just noticed weird black marks on my center burner. It looks like someone colored it what a black sharpie marker. It looks terrible! I need to reach out to them for a replacement. The grates have a nice padding to them. So they can sit nicely on your counters, don’t have to worry about them scratching. It looks beautiful. Cooks nicely so far. I am nervous to clean bc I read several reviews about easy scratching and the letters coming off.

Love the range upgrade for Christmas Technology forward, it communicates with the exhaust hood, burns hot and oh did I mention it comes with a griddle……Top shelf appliances. I thought Wifi was crazy but I love that it communicates with the exhaust hood and turn it on and off.

Overall quality seems to be good. However, just after couple of weeks, started seeing white spots on the control panel. I am not able to get rid of it, not sure what is causing it. I have seen other customers complain the same. I think Samsug should provide part replacement since it impacts the overall look of the appliance. It really looks bad. Also, the middle burner takes time to ignite. It was quick when initially purchased. Overall, it works fine but don't like the look of the spots.

Paint came off in less than a year

Not even 1 year and all the paint came off. I have been following the same cleaning routine and suddenly one day the paint came off. It's still under warranty since it's not been 1 year but samsung refused to accept and told us that warranty is over. Once I proved that warranty is not over, they chalked it up to cosmetic damage and refused to help. Worse customer service by samsung, never buy their product, I have learned my lesson.

Context first.. My old cooktop is 17 yrs old. New cooktop- I love this Samsung cooktop. Aside from its looks, it heats my old pots and pans evenly.. making cooking faster, efficient, better. Safety: I like the blue led lights. it indicates that a burner is on. Twice before, i left the burner on (low) by mistake. With the led lights, it's easy to know from far away. So just go back and turn it off. Wifi: I never used or activated this function. Con: None I can think of.

Easy replacement for the old GE

With a shallow bottom clearance, I picked this unit and it fit perfectly in the cut that was occupied by a 12 year old GE cooktop. I love the center burner and LED light that shows whether or not it is turned on. Although it comes with wifi capability, I physically remove the attachment on the back since I have no use for connecting my cooktop to the wifi. I looked for the same unit at Home Depot and the deliver was six weeks out; at Best Buy, it was in two days. AMAZING service.

Got the black stainess steel cooktop. Easily connects to wifi. The blue lights around the burners are awesome. The wok pan burner works well too. One itrm that can be improved is seamless integration with samsung rangehood. I am yet to pair these 2 so that switching on the bruner activates rangehood. This should be an automated or one click process rather than letting users spend time on research. I am also pretty scared of cleaning the face plate as it can easily scratch and remove the black coating

Very solidly built. Center burner is very powerful. Grates are very heavy. There is a wifi connection to this rage too, but I can’t think of when it would ever be of use.

Loved the look of this appliance. Stain resistant and easy to clean. The only downside is that the blue tooth does not allow you to remotely switch off the cook top. It can only tell you the status of each burner.

I bought this cooktop based on CR reviews and recommendations. So far so good. The fit and finish seem high end. Knobs feel sturdy and well made, and the blue hue it emits is a nice touch. I don’t think I would use the WiFi options to cook.

This is a beautiful cooktop! I love the blue lights! The knobs front panel get a little warm to the touch if you have multiple large pots on it. I think because the airflow has to go out to the sides and not up. Wasn't able to get it to connect to wifi after trying a few times but I won't use that feature anyway :) It's easy to clean as well!

Very happy with this cooktop. It cooks hot, and evenly. I like that the grills on top do a good job of supporting the pots and pans so they don't tip (things were tippy on my old one unless you oriented the handles just so). I had to remove the wifi unit that sticks out in back to get it to fit. There wasn't enough room between the back of the unit and the backsplash with it mounted. The cooktop comes with a plug to put in the hole where the wifi was removed. Who needs wifi on a cooktop anyway? On the downside, I paid BestBuy to do the install and haul away. The contractor they hired to do it delivered the unit, said he needed a part, and never came back. After repeated phone calls I gave up after a couple of days and went to Lowes and bought the part (an elbow connector for $9) and installed it myself (It was easy). I went back to BestBuy and they refunded the money for the install, but I'm guessing the contractor got paid anyway, which kind of ticks me off.

This is a solidly built cooktop with heavy grates. The grates are very stable. The front controls prevent reaching over a burner to change a heat setting. The lighting function works well and the lights on the dials while gas is flowing (any on position) are a good safety reminder to turn off each burner when cooking s completed. Main burner is very powerful. Unit stands a little higher than the cooktop it replaced; pots still clear the overhead microwave fan. (Wi-fi capabilty not tested as I have no use for it.)

We have had this stovetop for about three weeks. So far it is excellent. And so much better than our old kitchenAid stove top even though it was top-of-the-line. It was very easy to install even though it was a little smaller than the Cut out. Only thing that I can see was a problem with the stove top is the Wi-Fi capability. It is worthless and I removed it because it looked bad and who would want to operate a stove top from your Internet?

Love this stovetop except that it can’t connect to the Samsung hood! Every appliance we purchased has WiFi hookup etc but for some reason these two can’t connect . Other than that love it. The cast iron plate is awesome!
