If you want less vibration do not use the pedestals. The white is better because it is much harder to scratch.

We love this machine. Our old one did not work properly after 12 years. Did a lot of research before buying. Can't go wrong.

Before you buy - check how many authorized repair companies are in your area. There is one company authorized by Samsung within a 3 to 4 hour radius of Richmond VA and the local repair companies won't service Samsung products. Knowing they have a monopoly - the repair company is not interested in providing good service - just making money. It took them a week to come in and say "yes - the glass on the door to your washer is broken." No use of tools, 5 minute visit and $150 charge. They still have not figured out how to fix the door b/c they can't order a complete replacement door. They have to build it from parts and they have never done that before. Trying to deal with Samsung customer service is not helpful either. All they can do is give the telephone # of the authorized repair company in my area. Buyer beware if you ever have problems with the machine.

I bought this new machine and from the start it was not cleaning clothes. I sat and watched and timed 3 full loads and compared it to the on-line water levels. It was not putting enough water in compared to the on-line pictures. The first washer has a serious error message after 1 week. Returned it and got another of the same model deliverd. Same problem. Did Chat with Samsung and checked everything they said and then they told me it was my water line. They refused to send someone out. I returned the pair and will not buy another Samsung ever!! Worst customer service ever!

Bought in April 09. Dryer has already been replaced once. We placed a service call Nov 23.....it is Jan 4th and no one has come. The washer vibrates terribly and the dryer has something broken in the drum that rattle the entire time you are drying your clothes. WE DID NOT BY THIS FROM BEST BUY, but are so upset we will take every avenue possible to tell others DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG----NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT

I am completely angry and have been told call back one to many times. I paid way too much for my washing machine for it to quit working this quick and then I can not get any one to service it. I will never buy a Samsung again. I have owned GE and Whirl pool before both lasted atleast 10 years before I had a problem.
