Choice was the similar LG model but went with Samsung due to the ability to wash waterproof fabric (LG's had a sticker warning not to). Was concerned that there was no agitator but the load agitates just fine. Wife often buys yards of fabric ant washes and loves that it comes out non-twisted, even knits. Price was very good - just a bit more than the LG. I bought my own connection hoses, and dryer vent and used my previous dryer's cord which looked like new. BB wanted about $80 for these items where my cost was about $25. The installers did hook up the 3 items even tho they did not have to.

Washer works as advertised only fault I find is the soap dispenser needs to be reworked when you pour the soap it takes a while before it starts to fill my wife has found stain's from the soap needs to be filling with water while adding soap or at least find a way to add soap after its filled . Other wise great washer

August 13th, had a tech install both washer and dryer. He hooked everything up, set it on a self clean cycle. 30 min later, had a gut feeling. Went downstairs in my NEW HOUSE, water everywhere. The tech did not hook up the drain hose....Called tech back, never got an apology from said tech. Wanted me to sign paperwork saying no damage found..Best Buy thing to cover there butt. Monday got a call with the insurance claim number. Have been in contact with multiple best buy corporate, NO BODY CARES. They are pushing me under the rug as if nothing happened. Call center sucks, rep basically yelled at me on the phone. Best buy as called me maybe twice. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Someone should be compensating me and my family for our time and hassle. This happened August 13th as of today, September 11th my basement is still torn apart and i am making payments on stuff i can't even use. Good job Best Buy, Great customer service.

I really like this new washer, it leaves cloths much nicer right out of wash & has options for the kind of washing I do. I love that it has a nice sound when cycle is done instead of a noisy buzzer.

I moved into a house that was listed with a washer and dryer. Thankfully the two appliances were trashy and they didn't supply a new set. Because this washer and "matching" dryer from samsung are awesome. This model does get the clothes clean. It spins it dry so the dryer doesn't have to work as hard or long to dry the clothes. The dial allows you to select the general setting, such as "heavy duty", which generally selects the time, water temp, etc. then you can change a setting or two without the machine blacking out a setting. I purchased a top load, which is the same machine as a front load, except for the position of the door. Why top load? My mother has a front load and the clothes do tumble around more in it. But if you forget an article of clothing, you must wait until all the water drains out of the washer before it can unlock the door. Otherwise, you would have water pouring out onto your floor. The top load does lock the door, also, but it will quickly release it once you hit the pause button. Ok, so the clothes don't get placed into the dryer immediately after a complete wash. I happen to be one of the few who enjoy the cute chimes at the end of the cycles. So I'll stand there and listen to them until my husband yells down the stairs, "I need my underwear now!" He doesn't favor the chimes as much. The drum is large and deep. Since my washer is in the basement, it sits on a platform in case of flooding. So I was forced to buy a step stool to reach the bottom of the washer. No biggie. We can get a lot of clothes and sheets in that machine! I like the fact that we can watch our clothes ride the waves through the glass. It's a bit dark, but still light enough to see. The only minor "issue" is that I noticed the washer and companion dryer do not totally match. The washer has a slight green tinge with blue trim on the dials and the dryer has a slight reddish tinge with orange trim on the dials. The pair ARE white, but when they sit next to each other, you can notice a slight difference in the tinge. But that's ok. It challenges my OCD, but I'll learn to ignore it.

Not only does this lousy machine not wash clothes well, it actually dirties them. The clothes come out dirtier than they went in with additional stains and a dirty hue. I have tried every cycle, including deep clean to no avail. As a matter of fact i have to handwash some of the clothes fter removing them from the machine. I have to either return it or get Samsung to change it. .

This washing machine has been fantastic so far. I've ran at least 10 loads with no issues and my clothes came out clean and fresh. I can fit a heaping laundry backet full of clothes with each load with a little bit of room to spare. It's extremely quiet and hardly vibrates, even on a high spin cycle! The controls are simple and easy to use with plenty of cycle options. I'm coming from a GE front loading washing machine and I really just prefer the top loaders again, especially since this Samsung machine doesn't have the agitator taking up space in the middle. I received free delivery from BestBuy. The delivery guys not only brought the washing machine all the way down to the basement but they also put it where I asked them. Plus they hooked up the hoses and installed everything free of charge which was a very nice surprise. On a side note, when I ordered this washing machine in-store, the employee that helped us said it would cost about $150 to have the delivery guys install it. I obviously declined because that is a rediculous amount of money to hook up a couple of hoses and plug it in. So my advice is don't pay extra for installation as the delivery guys should install it for you as they did with me, without even asking them too! Oh and they also took our old washing machine (free as well) since it was broke and we had no use for it. The only flaw that I've seen with this washing machine is the detergent dispenser. After each cycle I notice that a decent amount of water remains in there which can eventually lead to mold and mildew if you don't keep an eye on it and empty it out yourself after your final load of the day. It's a small annoyance but I have a feeling most other washing machines (in this price range at least), have this same problem too. Overall I am stoked on this purchase and for the price, you can't beat it.

This is the first washing machine we have ever had that is a top loader without an agitator. We have owned top loaders with agitators and recently an LG front loader. By far this is the best we have ever owned. The capacity of the drum is enormous - it can handle bedspreads and comforters with no problem. It is about 20 times more quiet than our front loader, simple and easy to use with no problems whatsoever. Clothes come out clean and fresh, with no noise or problems during the process. It has only been a couple of months, but so far the only complaint I can make is the stupid little ditty it plays when the load is done. Other than that, it is an excellent machine.

My wife researched washers after our 12 yr old Kenmore had it's final spin. She chose this one as it was 4.8 cu ft and we are a family of 5. We love the capacity and multifunctions of this model and no agitator to ruin clothes. It cleans well and is fairly quiet in our first floor laundry room. She even cleaned a formal evening dress in the handwash cycle and was pleasantly surprised as it was a delicate fabric that was beaded. All was well with the dress coming out of the machine. We have had it for over a month, do approx. 8 loads a week and so far, it has held up to the Samsung reputation. We are so pleased with returning to a top loader as we were very weary. No regrets here!

This washing machine has a big tub. It is great for washing comforters and bedding. Lots of settings. It takes a little longer to run through the cycles compared to my old washer. But, this washer is so quiet, sometimes I will check to make sure it is still running! And, it sings to you when it is done!

Stylish look, huge capacity, latest technology, less sound and swift performance. Love this product. BestBuy delivery guys were on time for delivery. They left a dent on dryer, which I found out later and BestBuy sent replacement. Excellent product for that cost.

After reading many reviews, this was the best choice for my needs. It is quiet, efficient and gets the job done. The Normal cycle, 53 minutes long, the Hvy Duty 73 minutes long, the Quick Wash 20 minutes long, all preformed as expected. While other reviews stated it takes too long to wash, my old water hogger took 45 minutes, so this isn't so bad. The water amount is something to get use to, but I find that instead of 40 gals of wash water in the old one, to this, surprisingly DOES get the clothes clean. The difference is that in the old agitator type the water only came from the top. With this, the water jets from the sides and the bottom cover all clothes. I have yet to find dry spots where water didn't get to the clothes. I am very pleased with this and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase it again.

I have had this washer for about a month now. So far I LOVE it. Top load is so much easier to work with than front load. It is quiet and runs great. Capacity is huge. I can fit an entire hamper in and still have room. I washed 2 comforters at the same time with no issues. Looking to add the matching dryer now. I would definitely recommend this product.

It removes the water well so that the drying time is much less, however it makes the clothes have more wrinkles. I can put a very large load in the washer. The washer is very quiet. The clothes seem to be very clean.

I bought this Samsung washer after getting rid of a 5 year old Whirlpool front load washer. I did not like the front load because it is too big and the door seal kept tearing and finally the pump went out. The Samsung is a nice size for smaller laundry rooms and has a massive wash tub. It's easy to use and quiet. We spend less time doing laundry now because it holds a lot of clothes. It cleans clothes well and wrings them out almost dry. Very impressed. We've had it for a little over a month.

This washing machine looks smaller on the outside but don't let it fool you. It has a huge tub! I can fit a king size bedspread in there. It washes well and is quiet as well. I highly recommend this washer.
