I have one camera that is horrible at night and i called to return it and also emailed it and never gotna response even after miltiple attempts. Also the online configuration to view the camera off your cell phone never works . Horrible customer service with bad products is the worse combination. The camera came with bad infrared sensor causing the night view t look horrible , just wamted it replaced and that seems to be imppssible if they dont answer ever their emails!!!!

After installing the cameras I found out they would cut on and off when it got dark out. Samsung wound up shipping me a new unit at least twice and guess what... it still didn't work. Eventually they thought it was the adapter so they sent me a cord. Unfortunately, it was a two piece cord and they only sent one half like idiots. I had to take pictures of the unit hooked up with what they sent, with no plug to go into an outlet and email it to their customer support. Finally they sent the missing piece. It worked but then, one of my cameras started showing a purple hazy color, low resolution and a bright spot on the camera that would shine like the sun at night and they wanted me to pay to ship the defective camera back to them across the country while everything was still under warranty. The process continues..... Also, you can't hook up a regular hard drive up to the unit to expand the system. The hookup is either SATA or eSATA, I forgot, but either of which is a dying technology. Samsung looks good but falls short. Exceedingly. FYI they also refuse any refunds and instead have a policy to replace any defective parts, which seem to be almost all of them. And on top of that I have recently gotten a top of the line Samsung washing machine that looks great, weighs the clothes itself and all that, but wears holes in your clothes. My camera system model was an SDR-4102 but I don't think I'll buy Samsung anything ever again.

I bought the two camera plus DVR set and added two additional cameras. Pulling the wires through the walls and attic was a bit of a pain, but that's the only thing that was hard in terms of setup. This is a professional system, not a plug-n-play toy so it takes a bit of work to fully understand how to use it. The image quality is great, the DVR works well, and the best part is that so far I have not needed to use it to reconstruct an intrusion or unfavorable act.
