I am so happy with our new Samsung Smart TV. It is the right size for our cabinet. It has an excellent picture, with great color. It is also quite easy to set up. I can connect to Netflix, Yahoo, Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime and regular Direct TV programming. This is not my first Samsung TV and it definitely will not be my last.

So the location didn't have the actually tv I wanted (though I checked online) 62nd /broadway. I wanted a 39 inch Panasonic with slim. It was cute. But they didnt have it like it said online. So I saw the Samsungs, close to 39-40. Both on sale. The 40 inch was brighter. It was 499 and the one I wanted was 429 for 1 inch less. So I decided to get it with a 2 year warranty also. It was so easy to carry around. Brought it home. Internet set up. It is gorgeous. It's more than what I wanted but its so worth it. Specially on sale. I just wish the energy star setting wasn't the darkest out of all the screen settings . With my Bose speakers and pioneer self powered subwoofer (also bought at bestbuy) it's a GREAT living orom now.

This set is great for its price. I'm so glad that I listened to my husband and bought this 40" TV instead of the 32" that I originally planned to buy. The only downside is the 60Hz feature, which gives us a longer wait time when turning it on or switching channels. But it's not too big of a concern! The picture and color qualities are great, plus, the Internet connection is very enjoyable. I would recommend it to anybody who's looking for a TV set that's just right for their room.

Smart buy, great price! Love my samsung LED tv! So easy to install! Great sound... My husband is enjoying all the music videos on a wonderful tv.

Was looking to add a TV on my Hookah room :) So I needed something that wasn't going to expose too many wires and was light enough to be hung on the wall etc, Also by having Wireless wifi capability it helped me avoid a blue-ray player or a Apple TV = more wires to be exposed. ( it was a perfect combo to go with my wireless Uverse Receiver by att&t :) and for $441 it was a bargain and so easy to use that it blew my mind.

We've wall mounted this TV next to our fireplace for easy adjustment for optimal viewing angle and to avoid window reflections. We're relying on the built in speakers which are good enough for general viewing, but a sound bar or system may be needed for fuller sound. The picture is very clear with only minor hallo effect in dark scenes. We like the Smart TV button with the ability to continue viewing program television while browsing Smart TV features. There are many Smart TV options and we like these better than what Sony provides with their Smart Blue Ray player. The Netflix streaming App is very nice too. Very happy with this TV overall.

Great smart TV - EASY TO USE - access to a lot of programming- the only issue is that when you don't use it for a while you need to update the software online.

This TV has been a great addition to my house. The picture quality is great. This is my first smart tv, and I love having the internet right there. The features are easy to access and use. Its so easy to access my Netflix and Youtube videos. I also like having Spotify on my TV. The only area of improvement could be the sound. I feel like I have to turn it up higher than I should to clearly hear people speak.

samsung has a great picture in high definition on this 40 inch and having a smart television comes in handy and the internet connection using wi-fi is nice also

Overall this was a good purchase. It has a great picture, it was easy to set up and the sound is pretty good. What they forget to tell you is that if your wifi gets choppy, so does your picture. For someone not tech savvy, I didn't think about that small detail. The smart tv is pretty cool though!

Easy to set up. Smart features are easy to navigate. Picture is decent. Sometimes Netflix has to buffer a lot so I think that the Wi-Fi connection might be slow because it never happens when I use my Apple TV. But it is nice to be able to easily switch between cable input and the internet features all from one remote. Has lots of apps.

Quite simply, this TV is superb in EVERY way EXCEPT if you want to run the sound through an Audio/Video Receiver. If you want to just use the internal/built-in speakers, DO NOT HESITATE to buy this. However, if you want to use this with an amplified stereo/AV receiver, you need to know that the 3.5mm Audio Out connection does not work. You can insert a cable only part way (see photo to the right of this text - click to enlarge and notice that the upper most black cable is not fully seated), which means you will only be hearing audio on the left channel. This makes this connection utterly useless. Either I have one of a small batch of these TV's that left production with a defect or they are all made this way. I do not know, but I want to warn anyone who is considering using this TV with that type of setup. That is the ONLY caution I have. Everything else about the TV is a straight 5 stars across the board.

Decided to upgrade the TV in the game room after the old 19" CRT started to give up the battle. I wanted something that had Netflix and Amazon Prime since we have those services and wanted to keep the price below $400. This is truly just a 2nd TV for us, used mainly by the kids for Video Games and TV. I was thinking I was going to need to get a smaller set to match the price but found this 40" model on sale for $399. I thought the internet services would be a given by this point in time but actually found this wasn't a common feature, particularly in the lower priced sets. This TV was also well reviewed so I decided to make the jump. The TV looks great, with all the options I'd want to control the picture quality. The initial setup was very easy, including connection to my wireless hub, however, the problem I ran into is the Smart Hub lacked any content. It took me 3 or 4 calls to Samsung technical support before someone had the correct answer (turned out I needed to change the country then switch it back to the US so that the Smart Hub would reset). After that the Smart Hub features have worked flawlessly.

We finally replaced the tube TV in our bedroom with an HD screen. We gave a 50" set in the living room, but it's several years old, and only displays 720p. I really wanted a 1080p screen to take advantage of the content of Blu-Ray disks. We're pretty much a Samsung family when it comes to our entertainment electronics, and we had been watching for a 40"-class Smart TV to go on sale, and this one did on a Sunday afternoon, so we went and picked it up. brought it home, and had it set up in less than half an hour, because everything you need is in the box. Connected it to the Dish DVR and the Blu-Ray player and tested everything. It's also great that it has built-in WiFi, so no need for an external adapter. Has great picture quality, the sound is really good, and the best part is, it weighed about 20% of what the old tube set did.

This was a great value and is perfect for kids as it has a good picture and is easy to use. It is also light weight with a classy look.

I spent a lot of time reading reviews and was apprehensive about purchasing our first HDTV. This one had really good reviews and it has lived up to them. I am very pleased with the purchase of this TV. I do not have any complaints whatsoever. The picture is great, the set up was easy, the sound is good and the price was great. Wireless Internet connectivity was a piece of cake and it has enough HDMI inputs for our cable TV, Wii U and Blu Ray. I read a few negative reviews about the sound but I think the sound is fine. It's a TV, it's not supposed to sound like a home audio system. If you want home theater then purchase a home audio system but if you want a TV that sounds good by itself then this TV will be fine. I love this TV . The graphics on the kids Wii U are fantastic. I would highly recommend this TV.

I have this connected to an over the air antenna and wirelessly to the internet. Good picture from both signal sources. Occasionally the internet takes longer than acceptable to load the first selection screen and longer than desirable to switch between apps. The internet browser is just about worthless. Any attempt to watch a video from a web site usually crashes the browser. If a vide does manage to start and play, the browser will usually freeze or crash within 60 seconds. Browsing web sites without watching video is a painful process using the remote control. I connected the TV to a wireless keyboard with integrated trackpad and it helps, but it's still not a great experience. Overall, I like the TV. If I had more money, I would have bought something better, but for the price, I'm satisfied.

This is a great TV. It was a good value for the money. The picture clarity is great. The features are awesome. It's perfect for the business we are using it for. I really like it. It was easy to set up and easy to use.

I bought this tv strickly for the smart capabilties. I love the fact I don't need any boxes or gaming consules to provide the streaming video I already love. It's great having just one power cord!! Would totally recommend to anyone. It's super easy to mount too!
