Needed two tvs for new camper. Wanted two 40" smart tvs. Wanted two Vizio's that were on sale. BB only had one, so this Samsung was second choice. I love the features of this one. I dont expect a thousand dollar tv here, but very happy. One downside is the volume. The sound is very rich and deep, however after level 30 or so it just will not give a high volume in spite of having auto volume turned off. This was most annoying playing a DVD via HDMI and just couldnt get any decent volume. If hooked to home theater, no problem.

I have two of these and I am very satisfied. Picture is great with HD signal, and very good with an analogue signal. There is some screen glare evident from windows and room lighting but its is not bothersome while viewing. The 3.5mm audio out jack on the back is fixed output and not adjustable with the TV volume controls, so my plan to connect some extra 2.1 computer speakers to improve sound was a bust. I did discover that sound quality, especially bass response, is very dependent on room placement. I have one TV in the corner of a room, and the sound is entirely satisfactory with decent bass response. The other TV is on a stand with no wall close behind it, and bass is non-existent even when audio settings are tweaked. Samsung apps (Netflix, Amazon, etc.) and the built in web browser work well enough but are slow to start-up, taking 30-45 seconds. My Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse work with the TV browser, which is good. Using the remote for character entry is too tedious to bother with. I'm connected to my home network via the built-in wireless, which seems stable. Overall a great TV available for around $400 if you wait for sales.

Can't go wrong! Just bought it for my kitchen and is the perfect picture perfect size and perfect sound! I'm a Samsung guy you can't go wrong with any Samsung product.

I was excited to find a smart tv at such a reasonable price. I have had very good luck with Samsung TVs in the past, so when I saw this one on sale, I decided to buy it for the grandkids. My son was very excited to have the Smart feature on the TV so they didn't have to go through an Xbox or computer. He said the picture was great and setup was easy. It is a 40" and the size is just right for the kid's room.

I am really enjoying the features of a Smart TV. I really like that it was easy to setup to my DirecTV, DVD player, and WiFi in my home. Great content on the TV apps. I do think it is a bit cumbersome using the on-screen keyboard. Not sure how that could be improved but definitely worth looking into from a manufacture's standpoint. I would recommend this model to others and of course it was a great price.

Great TV. And for the price I paid, it was cheaper than the non-smart tv. However, I don't have an internet connection at my house so all the smart features are pretty useless but the picture quality and sound are excellent. I did hook it up at my parents before taking it home, and the features on it are wonderful. The ease of streaming movies and TV shows as well as Netflix and Pandora are great.

It was very easy to set up and operate. Picture is great, internet connectivity is great. I wish there was a way to get your own content from the web or just use the tv like a screen to view the internet and play from your own selections, but you can only connect to a few apps like Netflix, Hulu Plus, Pandora. Overall a great picture compared to all the other screens I compared it to in the store.

I love this tv. I am able to get access to Netflix, Hulu, and other internet based programs without anything else. Really great picture quality too.

The tv is a great tv! I bought it over Black Friday and got an AMAZING deal! I love that I can watch netflix on it and listen to pandora. The picture quality is great, especially for video games. The auto dimming is pretty awesome too. One thing I am not too fond of is that you cannot use your cable remote to control the channels & won't let you save channels to the favorites button... Well atleast for me it won't. Great tv overall. Would give a 5 stars if it had that feature!

I bought this TV for my office/man cave to watch sports, Netflix, and play a few games. I was able to hook up a wireless keyboard through its USB port for browsing the Internet. Great picture, good features, and light weight for wall mounting. This is a good deal for a Smart TV with 120Hz picture.

Was an east set up with HDMI Replaced a smaller TV used same stand. Easy to move around good picture.

This product was purchased for my in-laws to replace their old television that was having connection problems. They tell us that it has excellent picture quality. They also enjoy the thinner screen than their previous model offered and that it is lighter in terms of sitting on the TV stand. Also my husband and I assembled it and it was a very user-friendly build.

Aside from getting this unit at a great price, we are now enjoying all the Internet / WiFi features that allow us to watch Kpop videos and dramas. The projection of HD images and videos from our WiFi-enabled, storage drives onto this TV is smooth, easy-to-setup, and more importantly, the vibrant colors and acceptable audio makes it a great entertainment center.

This Is my first flat screen and so far, it has met or exceeded all of my expectations. The picture is nice and set up was very straightforward. It synced up with my phone fairly easily, as well as with my other devices. Standard delivery was very quick too. All in all, a great TV for the price. I would recommend it to anyone looking in that price range.

Samsungs have always been reliable tvs. This one is no different. Good colors, easy to use, and perfect size for a bigger bedroom.

Good TV for the price. Was easy to set up, has amazing picture quality with easy apps navigation. Produced great sound when connected to the Samsung sound bar systems.

Samsung TV has a really good features with great sound quality. YouTube app is not available that's the only one drawback, otherwise I suggest to buy this great stuff and enjoy :)

I really like this TV. I like this TV a lot actually. It gets a great quality signal and auto-corrects itself when the feed changes from HD to SD (as when changing channels on the cable box), although this transition is abrupt and jarring and you lose a second or two from whatever you're watching. The smart hub is pretty good too. It loads apps fairly quickly and for the most part, the apps are well integrated into the system. The problem though is that a lot of the apps are just bare-bones versions of the websites or smartphone/tablet versions they're meant to replicate. Want to use different profiles on netflix? Sorry, not supported. Want to start off a movie in Amazon Prime where you left off on another device? Sure, but here's a hundred hoops to jump through first. Want to take advantage of your saved artists or albums pages from spotify? Sorry, we only support playlists and browsing functions. You might think that we should blame the app developers here, and to a certain extent you'd be right. However, Samsung could easily demand a higher quality experience for their Smart TVs, much in the same way Apple demands high-performance and functioning from apps in their App Store.
